Thank you for the wonderful support that Home and Hearth Caregivers gave our family during this difficult time. During the summer when Dad was bouncing back from his many hospital stays, Gloria Loza was so understanding with our schedule, needing caregivers one day and not the next. All of the caregivers were supportive and helpful. After finally giving in to accepting help in the house, Dad even began to enjoy having his breakfast and lunches prepared for him and the conversations he had with several of the caregivers. Thank you to Renata who was there a few times a week; each and every time she dusted, wiped down the bathrooms and counters and mopped the floors! We especially want to thank Maria Duscza. When we brought Dad home and placed him in hospice, Maria would pull her chair up to his bed to keep a close watch on him. Other times, she just sat there and held his hand. Normally, Maria did not do overnight stays but made an exception when we needed her, fortunately, she was there the morning that Dad passed away. She knew that he didn't have much longer and told my brother he'd better call me, she was right, Dad passed away a couple hours later. Once the hospice nurse arrived and made the final decision, Maria insisted on cleaning him before the funeral home came to take his body away. The love she showed him, and our family made her part of our family, we are forever grateful for her. During our three and half months with Home and Hearth, I would like to say everything was excellent but there were a few problems along the way especially on weekends. Most problems were resolved quick. The best caregiver was JoJo. She was caring, efficient, trustworthy, and professional. She and my Uncle John worked well together. She could get him to do what he was supposed to do when his brother or I could not. We were able to go to appointments and to run errands knowing Uncle John was in good hands. They started coming in right away on a part time basis on a schedule that worked for us and when 24 hour care was needed were able to immediate switch and fill that schedule. I have been working with Home and Hearth for over three years; first it was for intermittent daily care for my Mother who suffered a stroke and now for my Aunt who lives alone. I have been very pleased with the approach, attitude, level of concern and consideration of the Caregiver Manager, Teresa Hermann; she has been a thoughtful, customer focused manager. Teresa has supported various types of services that are needed, is an advocate for the client and helps the family determine what special needs are relevant when the situation evolves. When I have visited the "assisted living facilities", I truly believe that the best care is to assist the elderly so that they can continue to reside in their own home, as long as possible. This is tricky equation, with elderly people at times, because they may not be aware of what is best for them. It is far more cost effective to have caregivers provide services within the home. I am grateful for the types of caregivers that Home and Hearth provides to their customers. These caregivers have patience, caring and respect for their clients that can be the saving grace for families that don't have available or qualified people to fill this niche. My 87-year-old uncle started using Home and Hearth Caregivers about a year ago and theyre doing a wonderful job. His care plan manager, Teresa, has been great to work with. Shes professional, easy to get in touch with and an overall pleasure. She came to the rescue on a Sunday evening when my uncle had a serious fall in his home. I live out of state and my uncle has no family in the area, so with one phone call, Teresa rushed to his condo, called 911 and stayed with him until the paramedics arrived and he was on his way to the hospital. Shes also been very thoughtful about developing a care plan tailored specifically to my uncles needs and personality and often thinks creatively to figure out the best way to manage specific aspects of his care. His caregivers Tranasha and Mechelle have also been great. Theyre personable and take a genuine interest in his care. They really look out for him!

Brandy, Sophie, Debra, Angie, Kim, Theresa (and anyone else I forgot to mention) are amazing at communicating with their employees. They are kind, compassionate, understanding and treat you like family. They are receptive to our needs as caregivers and always always listen to our concerns (if we have any) and help guide us. I work for this company since 2012 one of the best agencies to work for. I worked at many different agencies but this particular agency really looks out for there employees. All there recruiters are awesome and they are very understanding and always on top of things.I have been threw a lot they are truly understanding I feel like they just go above and way beyond so if you truly want a good company to work for this is the one 5 stars is not enough to rate I give them 10 stars. Sophie and Brandy are the best when I walk in that office it feels like home we are always laughing they always make my day. Thank you guys for being the best.
