A Very caring staff. An active group that works well together. A blessing for Pat to live here!
June 2024
My mother lived at Harvester Place for 4 1/2 years, from October 2019 until her death in late May, 2024. If you have a loved one who needs assisted living, I recommend Harvester Place 100%. The director, Carol Considine, is very hands-on and I always felt better knowing that I could call her at any time about any issue at all. It wasn't that way in Mom's first nursing home, not at all. The director did not visit each resident every day, as Carole does, or know all of their names by heart. Carole's team respects her and works right along with her to provide above-and-beyond care on a daily basis.
May 2024
Compassionate caring community. Small in size but family oriented. Cared for our mother to the end.
February 2024
I toured many facilities looking at a place for my father . From the moment walked in the front door it felt like it was the right place. After talking with Janet, taking a tour and meeting Carole, I knew this was 100% perfect for my Dad. The facility is wonderful and the staff is amazing. My father was there for only 4 1/2 months, but everyone on the staff knew him and liked him. My dad really liked everyone on the staff at one point telling me "they got a good crew here". I am so glad I found this place for my father to spend the last month of his life. I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for care for their loved one.
February 2024
I would like to publicly express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Carole Considine, Executive Director, and Janet Donovan, Director of Community Relations, at Harvester Place. Both Carole and Janet have been very helpful, supportive and compassionate in overviewing the community with my family and assessing my mother's memory care needs for living here. Their communications with me have been cordial, insightful and timely. The facility is modern, clean, comfortable and very nice, with an exclusive focus and dedication to memory care. Everything and everyone at Harvester Place convey a high quality of care and value for the money. I rate Harvester Place in Burr Ridge at the top of my extensive list of assisted living facilities for memory care for the elderly.
January 2024
If I could give more than five stars I would. Ultimately, our family member was placed elsewhere as memory care was not needed, but our experience with Harvester Place was top-notch. If our meeting with Harvester's management team of Carole, Janet, and Joan is any indication of the quality, professionalism and caring associated with staying at Harvester Place, your loved one will be well cared for. Those three went a long way to restoring our confidence in the healthcare system….or at least in selected professionals within the system. Their meeting with us was such a positive, beneficial, and uplifting experience that it altered the course of where we were heading. Our sister had been in and out of the hospital for the past eight months and was becoming increasingly unable to care for herself. The hospital was unable to address her issues and seemed to be more interested in pushing her out the door than in helping her. The revolving door of social workers assigned to our sister's case were all more interested in protecting the hospital than helping their patient. This situation caused us to spend several months researching living options, their appropriate costs, the difference in each type of living arrangement, the appropriate level of service our sister needed, the potential fit our sister might have in their communities, the medical resources each community offered, etc. All of this work was done on our own during a very hectic and depressing time with little or no help from the hospital. It seemed as if no one was willing or able to help our sister or us. We were extremely frustrated and confused. Eventually our research led us to Harvester Place, and we scheduled a tour of their facility on 2-8-24. When we arrived on 2-8-24 for our tour, we first had a meeting with Carole, Janet, and Joan (who had driven to the hospital to investigate our sister's condition and to see firsthand what was happening). These women were the most caring, concerned, and passionate people we had met on our healthcare residence journey. They listened to our story, compared it to the assessment that Joan had performed and concluded that, although our sister could live at Harvester Place, there were potentially better fits for her out there that might more effectively meet her needs. So, while Janet gave us a tour of the facility (which was bright, beautiful, and well equipped and staffed) Carole and Joan took the time to scour their network of resources to see what might be available to help us. In addition, they continued their search overnight to see if they could help us come up with a better plan for our sister's care, even if it meant sending her elsewhere.

We would like to express our gratitude to the amazing staff at Harvester Place. On our very first day we could feel the love and warmth generated by the staff. -Their staff is the biggest reason why we love it here- Anyone who has gone through the process of finding a home knows how difficult a decision it is to relocate a loved one. In our case, my Dad was from another state and spoke a different language. Harvester Place made the transition wonderful. With the kindness and care we have received, it is so comforting to know our Dad is in such good hands. A big shout to Joan, Sumana, Rosabella, Julie, Andy, Chris and all of his amazing team! Carole and Janet and your lovely office staff who greets us with a smile every time we enter the building! Sorry if we missed anyone. You are saints on earth! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!

I am very pleased with the care and service provided by Harvester Place and ALC hospice. They love Mom and she loves them. Aides are warm and affectionate to the residents, the food is excellent, and atmosphere and decor are tasteful and pleasing. Holidays are festive for all, and lots of fun daily activities are planned to meet all resident needs. I should add that I was in a dire straits situation when Mom was admitted, and they went above and beyond to be helpful.

I brought my aunt to Harvester place and the care was excellent. She was treated with respect and her care was exemplary. Carole the administrator was always available to answer any question or address any concern. Joan and her nurses and aides were so kind to her. Jessica and her front desk team always greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. I would highly recommend Harvester Place to anyone that is looking for long term care for a loved one.
March 2023
I have been visiting a loved one at Harvester for the past 7 months and her overall improvement has been remarkable. The dedication and total commitment of management staff is matched every day by the unyielding care and compassion of the nurses and caregivers. I will mention a few(Jocelyn,Ivey ,Tanisha )but honestly the entire roster at Harvester is a credit to the organization and an inspiration to residents and visitors alike.Under difficult circumstances, the staff at Harvester shines brightly each and every day Thank you
February 2023
Harvester Place does over and above for my loved one. The caregivers, management, dining, life engagement, just everyone is so nice. The place is super clean and the food I hear is delicious.
January 2023
Mom has been at Harvester Place for about a year and a half now. I am so grateful to Carole and her staff for making Mom feel loved and special! Since the moment I helped Mom move in, Carole and her team have been close by, helping in every way possible. All during the worst of Covid, they kept in close touch. Now that things are easing up and all residents have been vaccinated, they've made it easy to schedule visits with Mom, and been so gracious when I come! In short, I highly recommend Harvester Place! I know we are lucky! Update of August 19, 2021. I wrote the above review earlier this year. Now, I'd like to update it. When I visited Mom last weekend, a stuffed animal she treasures was missing, a koala bear with a yellow ribbon around its neck. Mom named the koala "Happy" and took it everywhere with her. She really, really bonded with Happy. Well, Happy went missing and Mom was very upset. The caregivers could not have been more considerate or caring. Several of them came into Mom's room when I was there to say they were looking for Happy. One, a lady named Jill, even brought Mom two smaller stuffed koala bears as temporary replacements! Jill told me she was looking everywhere. As I was leaving, I mentioned to the wonderful lady at the front desk that Happy was missing. She sent out an alert. Long story short, the director of Harvester, Carole, called me late this afternoon to say Happy had turned up in the laundry and was now safely back in Mom's arms. I feel that Carole and her staff went above and beyond to resolve this minor crisis as quickly and caringly as they could. It makes me know, yet again, that Mom is in the right place. Now, Mom has 3 Happys to love, instead of one! It's May, 2022 and I just wanted to update my review by adding a photo of Mom holding the stuffed bunny that Jennifer, one of the associates, had made for her at a Build-a-Bear place. Jennifer knows Mom loves cuddling her stuffed animals as if they are her children. I am so touched by Jennifer's kindness and her special love for our Mom. It's so good knowing Mom is surrounded by love there at Harvester Place. My compliments to all of the staff for going out of their way to run everything at such a high, caring level. Thank you, Harvester Place! I want to recognize another caregiver as well by the name of Selena. She, too, gives Mom extra love, attention and kindness. I feel so grateful - and relieved - to know that Mom is, as I mentioned above, surrounded by love. I also want to say that when I visit Mom, I'm always greeted warmly by the front desk staff, especially Terri and Barbara! They don't mind if Millie, my small white dog, goes behind the desk to say hi to them. In the lobby area, I often run into Lindsey as well - she's one of the caregivers. She always hugs Millie thoroughly, which I really appreciate. I'm grateful that dogs are allowed inside Harvester - for Mom loves Millie too. She also loves my sister's dog Asha. Photos of them below. Now it’s January of 2023 and I want to say yet again how wonderfully Harvester Place cares for my mom. I continue to be very impressed by Carole and her team - and I’m grateful mom is staying with them!
January 2023
I have been a part of the Harvester team for the past two years. It has been a wonderful experience! I’ve worked in geriatric nursing for years and Harvester Place is the best!! From management to housekeeping to laundry to caregivers to nursing…. You cannot find a more caring group of employees!! I am honored to know & care for all our residents….
December 2022
I have been a Harvester employee for almost two years. It has been a privilege to work alongside Joan and Carole. Who have been a fantastic leadership example for me. I am honored to be able to develop a team and work side by side with them to care and love for our residents. Excited for what is to come for our team!
November 2022
I absolutely love this facility it take wonderful care of all of it's residents and ensure the safety of all.
July 2022
My grandmother is very happy there. The people are all amazingly nice and she is extremely well taken care of.
November 2021
Our Aunt spent her last three years at Harvester Place (HP) where she was happy, engaging, unafraid, and thankful. On one of her visits to my home, my heart was elated when she announced, "I'm ready to go home now." She had always lived with family, so for her to refer to HP as home was more than we could ask for. At HP we saw our Aunt do things she would never do before, such as sing, dance, and talk about herself and her family (her nieces and nephews). She was a quiet person until she had something to say and all the staff gave her the respect and understanding she required. When the decision to move our Aunt to a specialized community was determined necessary, the best advice we were given was to give her the best we could while she could still enjoy herself, as her condition would inevitably show its debilitating progress. Seeing our Aunt enjoying life over her last three years, is a most treasured gift. We know she was able to experience a good life at HP because of all the wonderful staff in place who exemplify the strength and character of the Harvester Place Mission. The dedication to serve their residents equally serves their residents' loved ones. I am proud of my Aunt's relationship with so many at HP and I am proud of my and the rest of the family's relationship as well. I cannot think of a better place for our Aunt to have called home!
November 2021
I recently placed my mom in the care of Harvester Place in Burr Ridge, IL. From the moment that I walked into this facility and spent a few moments with Carole & Theresa (now retired), I knew in my heart that this was the perfect place for my mom. My mom suffers from advanced stage dementia. I can't thank the nursing staff enough for the compassionate care that they all give my mom. I visited several facilities before I chose Harvester Place, but the professional, caring staff at Harvester Place is the absolutely best and certainly won me over! My mom is very happy there , she loves her nurses and they love her and that makes me feel comforted and happy!
October 2021
I have had a family member living at Harvester place for the last year. I have nothing but praises to say. Staff is kind & caring, for the resident & for the family of the resident. The care received is excellent. The director goes ABOVE & BEYOND!! I can recommend Harvester Place.

My mom stayed Covid free The staff is amazing. What a hard year.
February 2021
My Mom has been at Harvester Place about 18 months, it was hard to finally make the decision. I researched many places before deciding on Harvester which I chose for its commitment to memory care, size of the community and attentive caring staff. Every small bump in the road, they handle immediately and in a satisfactory manner. In COVID world, they reach out and are good communicators with the families. My Mom is now thriving since she has been there which is the best recommendation I can make!
February 2021
Carol, Joan and her team run a buttoned up community. They are a hands-on duo working with all team members and residents. I see them constantly working on educating their staff, supporting and motivating them in holistic ways. They have worked amazing hard to communicate with families during the pandemic and have found creative ways for zoom calls, window visits, drive by parades, and various other activities. If my father had not passed away, this was my community of choice for him. #HarvesterPlace

I was very impressed with Harvester Place Memory Care Home the first time I visited. Although, I was unsure whether I, myself was ready to commit to my wife, Patti becoming a resident. That all changed after speaking with executive director, Carole and clinical director, Joan and also director of HR, Theresa. They spoke of how the entire community was an extended family. Patti was a member of the Harvester Place family for just over 2 years 2018-2020. The entire time I witnessed just how much the staff provides the mix of professional care with the family love for their residents. This gives you the spouse, as in my case all the comfort one truly needs and appreciates. Knowing your loved one is being provided with the best care possible is what you will receive from Harvester Place Community in Burr Ridge, Illinois.
December 2020
Its a fantastic place with a wonderful staff. They really prioritize and strive to meet each individual residents needs!
December 2020
They have a dedicated staff and are really responsive to residents.
December 2020
We recently were put in a position where we had to place a friend of ours into a memory care facility. After a few virtual tours at local facilities we decided on Harvester Place. From the moment we signed the agreement the staff went out of their way to help and care for our friend. Carole and Theresa were exceptional to work with as were all of the care givers.
November 2020
A wonderful Burr Ridge-Hinsdale community member with a dedicated, skilled, experienced and tenured team. Very strong director and clinical team led by Director of Nursing. Thank you for the important and meaningful work you do. Look forward to a continuous referral relationship.
November 2020
I am so impressed with the staff and facilities at Harvester Place. From day one, they treated us like family. Making the decision to move a loved one into a memory care facility can be scary, but Harvester made the process and decision easy. After my Mother-in-law passed away, Harvester really took the time to talk to my Father-in-law and us to make sure that we were doing okay. We are glad that Mom was treated with dignity, respect and care (even though she was quite feisty towards the end) in the final months of her life.
November 2020
During the 8 months my father was at another facility, he was sent out to the hospital 4 times for behavioral issues. Since being transferred to Harvester Place 10 weeks go, there hasnt been a single incident (knock on wood). The staff at Harvester Place is attentive, caring and fully engaged with the residents, which is exactly what my father needed. They are always providing updates on his status, keeping my family well informed. They are compassionate people that really care about their work and about the lives of the people they are helping. Truly a Godsend!

August 2020
We did not take the decision to move my aunt to Harvester Place lightly. At 81 years old, and in the midst of a pandemic, it almost seemed like too much of a risk. However, in a desperate attempt to improve my aunts quality of life, we moved my aunt to Harvester Place on July 7, 2020, and we are so glad we did. Harvester Place is a breath of fresh air. Each member of the staff is welcoming, attentive, helpful and caring (from the person who greets you at the door, to the nurses, caregivers, and maintenance personnel), and the good care continues long after we leave. My aunt was deemed a fall risk at her previous location, and was sentenced to life in a wheel chair. At Harvester, the glazed over and sad look in her eyes has been replaced by curiosity and contribution. At Harvester, she is engaged with on a regular basis, and she is responsive. She went from being non-verbal to verbal. She is clean and well cared for. She is being evaluated for PT and they are assisting her when she wants to walk (she always wants to walk and be independent). The staff has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my aunt feel comfortable and happy. They have accommodated each and every request we made. We are thrilled to have made the move to Harvester Place!
July 2020
Havervester Place has been wonderful for my mother in law. They truly care for her as if they were caring for their own mother. I am always impressed when I come visit. The staff is very attentive and supportive. Her progress has been fantastic!!

My parents really love this place. They havent even noticed that its memory care. The facility is clean, comfortable and small enough to feel homey. And the quality of care that they are receiving is evident. Theyre well-groomed and they actually participate in and enjoy the activities. They like the staff--and the other residents. The transformation at Harvester Place has been amazing. We could not be happier with the choice to move our parents here.
September 2019
Just over a year ago in July 2018, I walked into Harvester Place Anthem Memory Care looking for care for my wife, Patti. My impressions of the place were all positive. My wife became a member of the Harvester Place family August 16, 2018. I saw that the facility was bright, clean, and friendly. When I took a tour of the facility every staff member there that day said hello and were warm and friendly. Many called me by my first name, which is pretty cool. The layout allowed for residents to have freedom to walk inside and also outside in either of the two courtyards. Leaving your loved one to the care of the Executive Staff members Carole, Theresa, Joan, and Lawrence is at first a major step to take. However, you soon become assured that they practice what they preach. They definitely become an extension of your family. You also soon see that the entire staff that is employed at Harvester Place exhibit and execute the same caregiving qualities. I highly recommend visiting Harvester Place in Burr Ridge Illinois. Your loved ones will be happy as will you in knowing they are receiving the best professional care and the best personal care possible.
September 2019
I am very proud to be apart of this wonderful organization. We take pride in giving excellent care to our residents and their families. If you are looking for a place for your loved ones look no further Harverter Place is the place to be.
May 2019
My mom is here. I think when you have a facility that is 100% memory care- its better for the residents. From the ability to walk outside in a courtyard to the halls being a square. They dont feel locked in
October 2018
Mom was in a loving place for the last months of her life. wonderful caregivers. The entire staff consistently engaged her in life.
