My mother has been a resident of Three Oaks for several months. Care has been cheerfully and professionally provided, she likes the food , and the activities offered are always varied (the entertainment manager is always in touch with residents to see what could be added for their benefit). When we were helping my mother find an assisted living home, the care and attention to needs of residents was first on the list of priorities, but a beautiful environment was next. At Three Oaks, we found both. We also appreciate the transparency that has been offered from the beginning, regarding care and how the organization is run. This has built trust, and that is priceless. It is a wonderful feeling to know your loved one is being cared for with skill, professionalism, and with caring.

Moving my Dad out of his home of 63 years was very hard. For all of us. but at 90 years old, we all knew that he needed to be somewhere safe and comfortable. We had already heard about Three Oaks from friends of ours that had previously moved in. They really liked it. My first visit there to gather information, I was introduced to Shirley. She has been wonderful with my Dad and also answering all of mine and my siblings questions. I felt very at ease calling her at any time with questions and concerns. I thank Shirley very much for making this life changing time go a little smoother .

I cant say enough about the staff at 3 Oaks. It truly is a blessing to know mom is not only safe, but truly cared for. We tried keeping her home, but I am so glad that did not work because, even through her Alzheimer, her life is more rich there, from activities to care, I do appreciate them all. Thank you Amanda for helping us navigate this quagmire of a health care system and helping mom. I would recommend 3 Oaks to anyone finding themselves in the need for a loved one.

A place I highly recommend! Three Oaks is a wonderful residence for a loved one. The building is bright and shining clean, with a lovely charm and very pleasant atmosphere. A very warm and welcoming environment, which is so important in a difficult time of transition and change. Whether it is staff or fellow residents, people are supportive and positive, like an extended family. Rooms are very neat, spacious and clean, with nice amenities, good lighting, a large restroom, and ample closet space. There are plenty of activities to do as well, a small but charming library with two computers, books, and magazines, as well as a movie theater, rooms to read in, engage with others, or just relax, such as the bistro. Staff at Three Oaks is to be highly commended; whether it be CNAs, nurses, or people in the offices, the director, or staff in the kitchen, people are upbeat, hardworking, and always going the extra mile to try and address any concerns or questions a resident or family members might have..And yes, the food is truly delicious, not a common compliment when one is reading a review of an assisted living, or a nursing home. Healthy produce, with nice variety. I have nothing but praise for Three Oaks, and am happy to have found a place--after having seen a number nursing homes and assisted living residencies for both parents over the past few years--which quickly feels like a second home. Thank you!

Shirley and the entire team at Three Oaks have been incredibly helpful and accommodating as my in-laws transition from another assisted living facility to Three Oaks. I'm especially grateful for the excellent lines of communication, both phone and email. They don't hide behind their voicemail, and are willing to help out with even the smallest details, and that's meant a lot to us. The facility is kept spotlessly clean, and there's a real sense of community.

How would you like to live in a place where "everyone knows your name"? Three Oaks is the place. The small facility makes it more like a community. Everyone you run into has a smile on their face, is willing to help in any way and cares. Really cares! If you are looking for a place for your loved ones, look no further---Three Oaks is their next home!

I had a very short time to find somewhere for my father to live when his dementia worsened very quickly. I was immediately impressed with Three Oaks and the friendly, welcoming staff. My dad has been there for just over a year and is doing very well. Everyone knows him and expresses great interest in and concern for his welfare. The staff is always engaged with the residents and do a great job of keeping me informed and involved. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and the wonderful, caring staff!

We moved my mother, Dorothy Raasch, into 3 Oaks Assisted Living on Feb. 23rd of this year. She had lived in her house in Arlington Heights for 67 years. After a recent hospitalization, she realized that she could not go home again. We fixed up her studio apartment with everything from home that would keep her entertained and comfortable. Unfortunately, her cancer took over immediately upon her arrival. She passed on March 1st. During her short time there, the staff was amazing! No one had any idea that this would happen! Everyone at 3 Oaks showed so much caring and compassion for not only my mom, but for our family. During her final days, we were given the privacy to say our goodbyes, but also the support that we needed to help her on her journey. My only regret is that my mom didn't get the opportunity to meet new friends, and to get involved in some of the many activities that they offer their residents. 3 Oaks is a wonderful, loving, caring family that anyone would be lucky to be a part of. My mom broke her arm and stayed for a month at Three Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care Center located in Cary, Illinois. Nice brunches. Friendly and caring staff. Variety of activities for residents to attend on daily basis. Comfortable and safe place to stay. Staff encourages residents to strive towards improvement and independence. Very nice new Executive Director Linda H.

Staff is always attentive and very caring. They have helped my mother and father make the transition from their home of 37 years to their new home at Three Oaks. Their apartment has a very nice floor plan and I can say from experience that the meals are excellent. Lots of activities available and offsite outings as well. I am pleased with Three Oaks.

My Mom came to Three Oaks last summer. She had stayed in Respite Care in February following my Dads accident. During that time she was in the Assisted Living portion and thrived in the caring, activity-filled atmosphere. After she went home, her health deteriorated. After several months, she wasnt eating or drinking and could barely walk. In a last effort to save her life, we decided to place her back at Three Oaks. They welcomed her with open arms and immediately found a place for her. At this point her dementia had worsened so she was given a room in Memory Care. How do you describe a place that saved her life. The staff is warm, loving and kind. EVERYONE knows my Mom -- they call her by name whether she is taking a walk on the Assisted Living side of the facility or in her own area. Getting her to eat again was a slow process but after almost 6 months, she is eating well and has gained almost 10 lbs! She spends her entire day out and about -- not in her room (which is very cozy and comfortable). They keep the residents active and engaged all day long -- my Mom is more alert and aware than she has been in years! The physical therapy she received for months, strengthened her to where she walks easily with her walker. The PT staff encouraged her, joked with her and gave plenty of hugs and treats during their time together. I believe they are angels, watching over my Mom each day. They truly care about her and celebrate when she eats all of her dinner or reaches a new milestone. I receive weekly logs of her activity and eating so I can monitor her progress. The staff is always there when you have a question or concern or just to talk. Its a lovely place -- and Im grateful for them each and every day. Delete review

I have been very satisfied with the experience at Three Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care. My mother has Alzheimer's disease and has lived at 3 Oaks for two years. They are compassionate, kind, and always working to improve. They are always coming up with new ideas to engage residents and improve the quality of life of those who are entrusted to their care. The caregivers and administrators are respectful to residents and family members. I wholeheartedly recommend 3 Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care.

My folks moved to Three Oaks 6 months ago. Mom has Alzheimers, and Dad moved to be with Mom. Mom has been very demanding of my Dad's attention, and while living at home he rarely left the house and was isolated. Since moving to Three Oaks he has had opportunities to get out and socialize. But Mom would still like him to stay with her all of the time and can get very upset if he is not. This is where the staff has stepped in to help. If Dad is overwhelmed he can press his call button and help arrives. I have to commend one staff member in particular -- Matt, who works the evening shift. He has listened to Dad when Dad needs someone to talk to. Matt came in during a different shift and invited Dad to watch a Cubs game with him. Now the two of them are talking about forming a men's group. I can't begin to tell you how much this means to me.

My aunt has been in Memory Care at Three Oaks since August of 2013 and it has been the best experience for all of us. She was in 2 other facilities before moving to this place: one where she broke her hip and it wasn't discovered for a few months, one where she did her rehab, and here. We call the staff of caregivers "angels" because they are so loving and respectful, and that can be challenging because my aunt isn't an easy person to care for personality wise. Three Oaks AL is a blessing all around. Even my husband, who gets creeped out by nursing homes, said this place was great. He said the way it is decorated resembles an upscale hotel: clean, bright and elegant. He was very pleasantly surprised. It definitely is NOT a nursing home. I can't say enough good things about Three Oaks and it's staff. Unfortunately, this past spring we opted to move my aunt because the cost to live their increased way more than we expected. We were promised one thing upon move-in, but in the end did not receive what inspired us to to choose Three Oaks in the first place.
