My loved ones moved in after their dream of staying in their home was changed due to health factors. Lucky, they did look at places just in case so they knew what was out there. They ended up on a waitlist to move closer to family. It was HARD to leave a FOREVER home and caring neighbors. When we finally got a call, the unit was not the one they wanted, but the floor was. We decided to try. It came after 6 months waiting and we still we not really ready, but we gave it a shot. They staff is very welcoming and tries to learn even the family by name. The community is friendly. There are plenty of activities and loved ones are welcome. The dinning room is a nice restaurant. The staff works hard to learn names and preferences.There are times that are difficult or unexpected but we feel they listen/work to make things better. They offer the members time to meet with and discuss improvements with the staff. Maria- who is a fabulous cruise director Strives to make each person show and grow their own talents and interests. Linda, has helped me from the initial- we want a tour, to the will this fit in the room, to every what about this question! She has alway been responsive and found me an answer. Tina has stepped in as well. They have been listening ears and a shoulder to cry on and cheerleaders when things went better than expected. The maintenance staff is prompt, patient, and competent. The front desk staff are really the face and the people that can help at all times. They offer a smile or assistance as needed. My family and I are happy to have found a new second home and new friends that are growing into family. PS- consider making a move while you can plan and be in control or wait for the room/place you need. We have also had the pain of not being able to make those choices.

We bought our bother here about 3 years ago. He was living on own, but not able to take care of self. After visiting a few memory care and assisted living facilities, we immediately were impressed with Clarendale of Addison. We made the best, and right choice for him. He is thriving, all of the staff are wonderful. We know they are keeping him safe and protecting him, like he is their brother too. After touring many different facilities, we found the Clarendale of Addison. My mom lived on the independent side until we made the difficult decision to move her to Memory Care. We decorated her room with her own things, (yes, even her bed), to make the transition easier for her. The staff is so kind, compassionate and attentive to my mom; I am forever grateful to them. Nataushi Moton is amazing, she is responsive and supportive to my mom and our family. The food is excellent, and families can always enjoy a meal.

My uncle moved in a little over 3 years ago and couldnt be happier for the decision to move him into Clarendale of Addison . He loves it there and he always speaks so highly of the staff there as well. He says concierge is super helpful when he needs something, and the activities are well planned. If he has any issues, the director is always there to help resolve them. It’s super clean and everyone is friendly. They even have an overnight security person at the front that checks on everyone overnight. This young lady has helped my uncle out 3 times when he fell in his apartment and couldn’t get to the phone. She’s always vigilant and it helps keep our family’s peace of mind knowing she is there at night in case of emergencies. Couldn’t be happier with the all around care for my uncle. My mom has been in Clarendale of Addison Memory Care since December. I was very reluctant to move her into any facility at all. However, after seeing the care that she has gotten by the entire staff, I could not be more certain that we made the right decision. First off, we were so impressed at how clean the facility was. The staff is very good about calling my sister (she's the POA) and keeping us updated on her meds or doctor visits, etc. I see such a positive change in my mom since she has been in Clarendale. The staff could not be nicer. Every one of them. Kiki is her nurse and she is absolutely wonderful, as are all the staff that we have encountered. I wish i could remember all of their names because they all deserve to be recognized. It's just so good knowing that we do not have to worry about my mom like we did before she moved into Clarendale.

My parents, aged 101 and 94, have been living in Independent Living at Clarendale of Addison for about 2.5 years. We have always been pleased with the quality of services and living environment at Clarendale. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and kind. Recently, due to declininag health status in my parents, it became necessary to move the folks to the Assisted Living wing of Clarendale. The only struggle in that move came from the resistance, due to cognitive decline, from my parents. However, Clarendale was there when we needed their help and the actual transition on moving day was seamless. We are feeling a level of comfort that eases our daily stress level because we know the caregivers, Ana and Claire, nursing staff lead by Lilibeth are watching out for our parents 24/7. The staff is truely making a sincere effort to gently persuade our parents to allow them to provide help, learn about our parents habits and preferences, and insure they are always safe and cared for. We are certainly getting our money's worth of services, care and consideration during our parent's final years. The administrative staff of Executive Director, Cythia, and support staff of Eric, Maria, Lynn, Ron, and others truly go out of their way to be helpful. I would highly recommend Clarendale for retirement living no matter what stage of life after 60 years old.

The grounds are decorated with numerous plants as well as a location to grow vegetables. The resident patio area is a wonderful place to be in the warmth of the sun chatting with friends. Our families experience with the staff at Clarendale of Addison was wonderful, from start to finish. Our first meetings and visits were filled with so many questions regarding placing our Aunt in the Memory Care residence. Kim guided us through and answered all of our questions, from care level, living arrangements, activities, medical support team and so much more. When we admitted our Aunt our family felt very comfortable and assured we had made the right decision. The staff has such a great team spirit and positive attitude and was a pleasure to work with. I moved in on March 6 of this year. My review is based on my visiting similar facilities and what I learned second-hand. And the review is also based on the assumption that no facility is perfect. That said, the 5 stars are accurate. Physically, the fairly new facility has not only smoke detectors but sprinklers and fire alarms from the central system in each suite. Rooms are bright. They have general housekeeping every two weeks, such as vacuuming, floor mopping and countertop and bathroom cleaning. Food--likely the most tempting item for complaints--is, especially in the last months, quite varied and tasty. Exercise rooms and a large number of activities and programs offer substantial opportunities for residents. And most importantly, perhaps, both the staff and other residents are friendly. The overall atmosphere of the residents is one of contentment.

I didn't want to move out of my house, but it was beginning to be too much work. I had to call my family for help again and again; this made me feel like a pest. The stairs were starting to be too hard for me. I moved into a beautiful apartment at Clarendale and now my life is better. My mother was unsure about living alone since my father passed away and we went to visit Clarendale of Addison because it was very close to my sister. The place is immaculate! Everyone from the staff to the residents greeted us with smiles and waves. While searching for assisted living for my mother, I recently toured Clarendale of Addison. I was impressed by the amenities available. There was a workout room, a media room, and a lounge for people to gather. In fact, while I was there, the residents were in the lounge enjoying live entertainment and seemed to be having a great time. I also met several staff members who seemed friendly and engaging. The nurses answered all my medical questions and Kim was knowledgeable and patient with my process. When the time is right, I will be moving my mother to Clarendale.

The entire experience at Clarendale, during our Mother's Repsite Care following her surgery was simply outstanding! The community was very supportive, caring and attentive - could not have asked for more. The meals are great, nursing staff is wonderful and rehab offered within the facility, truly everything Mom needed at this critical time in her recovery. She enjoyed meeting and making new friends, many of which she has stayed in contact with after leaving Clarendale. We just moved my dad into Clarendale of Addison. So far we are very happy with the place. We toured many times until dad finally greed to the move. Each time the place we very clean and everyone so pleasant. We met a few gentlemen on one visit and that was what helped dad make the move. Everyone went out of their way to say hello to him. He was welcomed with a red carpet upon arrival. So far my siblings and I have been very pleased with Clarendale. The place is very clean. The apartments are nice sizes, the amenities are great. With all that are included there we figure dad might actually save some money. Dad is in the food business he said he had the best omelet over the other morning. That says a whole lot right there. He is going to love his "Over 55 community apartment" He can't say senior living, the man is 84.

From the perspective of a service provider (I’m with Kastle Keeper who handles multiple aspects of senior transitioning ) I find Clarendale to be a shining example of what a senior facility can be. Looking for an Independent Living facility for mom was a bit stressful, but the people at Clarendale of Addison made it so much easier. We moved my Father into Clarendalle senior community about a month ago, we could not be more happy about our decision. He is in Independent Living and he LOVES IT , he has made quite a few friends already, and he is starting to get involved with some of the activities, the staff is second to none,they make you feel so at home. Whenever I stop by they all recognize me and my brother and know us by our first names. This Crazy time and they are doing everything to make sure everyone stays safe, we feel this is the safest place for him to be at. We are so happy that we recommended another relative of ours who is planning on moving in next month. So glad my mom lives in Independent Living at Clarendale. I no longer have to worry about her being alone or not eating right. They are able to socialize in a responsible and safe way and she loves the food. The employees are all kind, caring, and compassionate. It gives me such peace of mind that she is looked after, sees other people, and is safe. Great decision for her to move there!

I am so touched and really impressed by the Director of Memory Care and some of the residents at Clarendale of Addison. I received 9 beautifully handmade cards for the loss of my sweet little Yorkie, Nikki. I couldn’t believe it when I received these adorable thoughtful cards in the mail from Erin Klco, the Director of Memory Care and some of the residents that live at Clarendale. These cards meant so much to me that Erin and these sweet ladies took the time to hand make the cards, wrote some very kind words and included sweet poems to help cheer me up. They definitely cheered me up and I can’t thank them enough!! What a great place with such wonderful people!!

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a while. What a lovely place! The director, Cynthia (I don’t remember her last name), was delightful. My mother-in-law was impressed with the Covid precautions. It’s real and many elders have underlying conditions so it’s nice to see the virus being taken seriously (masks and people keeping surfaces clean). It’s a challenging time to consider a move to a facility and this one is at the top of our list.

What an amazing place. Not only is the community new and beautiful, the surrounding area has so much to offer. Having multiple levels of care under one roof makes any family situation for a loved one less stressful. The staff is attentive and loving to every resident. The community is extremely clean, very safe yet it feels warm and cozy like home. Love all the extras with the hair salon, exercise room and even a movie theatre & arts and crafts to keep all residents engaged and active. The rooms with the balconies are a huge bonus having plenty of room for an outdoor swing - far larger than most communities and overlooking the park provides a beautiful view. Would HIGHLY recommend Clarendale !

The Clarendale of Addison is a stunningly beautiful community at an attainable price point. It is sparkling clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and accomodating, and the well being of the residents is always at the heart of what they do. The apartments are modern and sophisticated. I have recommended the Clarendale to many people; once my own parents start to consider adult communities, I will recommend the Clarendale to them, as well!

There is nothing more comforting knowing that my dad is in the ABSOLUTE best hands with Erin Klco and her team in the Memory Care facility at Clarendale of Addison. The staff is very compassionate, attentive and treat him as if he is their own family member. They are very engaging with all the residents providing a very positive and supportive environment for them to thrive. What I love most is that they truly get to know the residents and make the resident's experience more personal to their interests . My dad owned a restaurant and Erin and her staff were so creative in keeping him engaged under their supervision in activities such as cooking, baking, etc. that he used to do . He LOVED it!!! The facility is extremely clean, safe, modern yet offers a very cozy, environment that feels like home. I would HIGHLY recommend Clarendale of Addison to anyone seeking transitional care for their loved one.

Clarendale of Addison has been a wonderful place for my mom. She is active and doing things like she use to when she was younger. Erin, the Director of Memory Care has been wonderful. Unfortunately because of COVID, I was not able to move my mother into her unit, but I feel that the staff did a very nice job helping with the move under these circumstances. I cannot wait until I am able to enter the community to really get to see all the great things this community has to offer. It has been an unsettling time but Clarendale is doing a fantastic job keeping the residents safe!

Clarendale of Addison has been a great experience for my uncle. Everyone has been great very welcoming and really did make his experience easy and they took care of every step. Cynthia Miceli was so helpful and still is with anything my uncle needed and even with this COVID-19 going around she really has been very concerned for the residents and really following guidelines to make sure everyone is safe she really is professional and helpful in any questions the residents or family members have. My Aunt and Uncle (my parents) moved into Clarendale of Addison, assisted living seven months ago and I am thrilled that they are in their care. The nurses sincerely care and are passionate about the service they do for the elderly. They keep me informed at all times, via text or phone and I can honestly sleep at night now knowing that they are safe and cared for 24/7 by a wonderful staff!!!! The facility is new, very clean, and the others who live there are very friendly and inviting. I've had meals in the dining room with them several times and the food is great. Now that we're in the mist of Covid19, they are following through with CDC guidelines and keeping everyone safe and informed. A weekly newsletter is sent out every week to family members with updates, and keeping everyone entertained while staying safe. The staff makes special moments happen by remembering their birthdays, bringing them cake and making it memorable for them and family members. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff and facility. Thank you Clarendale staff for your terrific care and service! Oh, and a special thanks to Will, Lillybeth, Lynn and Ryan. You're the BEST!!! Thank you. 🙂
