We love Carriage Cove. My mom has stayed there many times. They have become more like a family than a rehab center. The building is beautiful and the staff are highly trained. I would not have let my mom go anywhere else. We love everyone so much.

Amy and her staff were excellent in providing care for both my mom and my dad! They were very thorough, so kind, and extremely patient through the process. The nurses and staff were attentive, polite, professional, and always on top of medications and needs. Physical therapy went great and the facilities were beautiful and clean! The salon and conference room and food were all excellent! Over all a great experience with good people running the facility!

Carriage Cove in Rexburg gave our family an experience that eased the stress and complexity of an injury to our parents. Their staff and care was amazing and kind. Amy Smith is doing an incredible job running the facility and asking her staff to maintain the highest and most professional standards. My elderly mother has stayed here twice after hospitalizations, and I cannot say enough good things. We *love* & appreciate Carriage Cove for so many reasons: Homey: It feels more like a home than an assisted living center. It is warm & cozy & fancy all at the same time! Staff: The kindest people work here! Everyone from the nurses to the food services employees to the administration -- everyone is caring & friendly! Care: They are on top of all things medically so I don't have to be, which is such a huge relief as a caregiver. Meds, physical therapy, doctor's appointments. They will even transport them to their appointments! Social: Just about every single day they have an activity of some kind that gets the residents out of their rooms & socializing. Even on the days they don't have official events, they have a nice, spacious dining room residents can dine together in, as well as a dedicated activities center. They are also very supportive of family/visitor time & pretty much make any time & situation work. They are like a home, a hospital & an assisted living combined, the best of all worlds! We love Carriage Cove!

Our father was in Carriage Cove for 2 weeks. The CNA’s did their job, but we waited and waited to talk to a nurse. My family asked for a nurse everyday to ask her about our father’s recovery or going downhill. Sometimes we waited hours, other times days. I can tell you of 3 instances where I walked around the building trying to find her, only to be told she had left. It’s a nice little facility, but do not expect to be treated decent unless you have money and a name to go with it.

Carriage Cove is a beautiful building filled with caring hearts. The nursing staff truly care for people ” they want to be there, and they genuinely want to help patients through tough times during rehab, often referred to as the winter of their lives. The administrative staff behind the scenes work tirelessly to ensure every detail is handled, making the transition from hospital to subacute rehab and then home as seamless as possible. Highly recommend.

I stayed over a week here following a snowmobile accident. I could not be more impressed. Nice facilities, professional nursing staff, great physical therapists, and terrific support staff. And to top it off- such a friendly Courteous and helpful culture. They made such a difference in my recovery.

We have been very impressed with the atmosphere one encounters when going to visit those who are residents or patients at Carriage Cove. The staff can be found interacting with their residents in a kind and caring way. Fun simple games which keep the permanent residents engaged and moving their bodies to their best ability. Also the Physical Therapy room is wonderful with very capable and trained therapists. Thank you to carriage cove for making a stay here as comfortable as possible for those going through a difficult time.

I have had the opportunity to visit several friends while they were recovering in this facility. My experience has been with cheerful and helpful employees. Always willing to take me to those I wanted to visit. Cheerful, clean rooms and hallways are the norm. Nurses and aids courteous. I’ve even been invited to participate in games with the residence. I felt the whole atmosphere friendly and homelike.

I live alone and had knee surgery replacement work done and felt extremely comfortable staying at carriage Cove. They were very attentive and had me do exercises three times a day to strengthen my knee. I recommended very highly.

This is an excellent nursing facility. I have personally witnessed the staff exceeding expectations on a frequent basis. The physical facility is super nice, the administrators are informed and responsive, and the staff are top-notch. I had such a pleasant time here with my grandma. They treated us so kindly. They treated my grandma so kindly, she loved it there. Her favorite nurse was Nelson. He had done everything she asked and more. He was very kind and polite! When my grandma was there and needed something they got it done, fast and went their way beyond their duties. The food was really good with many options. Grandma was very comfortable there. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
