I have nothing but great things to say about Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. My parents have lived there for over 11 years; first in a Cottage and now at Elkhorn assisted living. They were well taken care of during the Covid pandemic, and now that my mother has passed and my father is at Elkhorn, I just can't say enough about the great people who work for Touchmark. From housekeeping to the director, each employee genuinely cares for the residents.

Touchmark is such comfortable and caring place that wholeheartedly wants you to succeed and be your best! I work in the home health therapy department and always look forward to coming to work. The entire home health team works hard together to help every patient referred and take the time to get to know each patient on more than just a medical treatment level. I am genuinely thankful and proud to be employed by Touchmark Home Health!

Touchmark is a lovely full service retirement facility for our aging communities. This state of the art location offers everything from fully independent housing to assisted living and memory care. My parents shared an apartment together and were very pleased with the services that were provided. My dad had Alzheimer’s and my mother was no longer able to provide him the care needed. Through Touchmark my mother was able to share an apartment with her husband and still feel independent while he was provided the top notch care he required. The facility offers full meal service including a dining hall and a restaurant. They have many on site activities, grocery delivery, and a shuttle to take them to local restaurants, activities, appointments, and shopping. There is also a full service mail center and beauticians on site. They also have full medical staff including doctors are readily available to ensure their medical needs are met. My parents were very happy while in residence. The staff is top notch and showed them love, kindness and respect through their stay. During their time there, I never had any doubts about the quality of care provided. Touchmark truly does offer high quality care that cannot be matched.

For eight years my mother lived in a wonderful retirement apartment by Green Lake in Seattle. When we moved her back to Boise two years ago I was worried about the standard of living she had experience there. Our family has found that Touchmark is above and beyond in their care for our mother. She is in assisted care and loves her apartment and feels well cared for. She also feels safe and says the staff is very good to her. We feel her hair has never looked better with Mistys weekly attention. The nursing staff is phenomenal and we have never seen a nurse as dedicated as Kim. She is knowledgeable and hard-working and very loving.One of the traits that I feel is important is when I do have a question or a concern I am treated with interest and respect. They try to accommodate us in every way possible. Our family is grateful to the staff here.

Their caregiver, Amber White, called us "c****" several times, called us several other foul names, and was doing drugs while on the job. She also spoke very racistly of African Americans and minorities. She even offered to invite us to her home, *******************, to smoke some "blunts" with her. When she told her we were appalled by the vulgar and totally inappropriate way in which she conducted herself around us, she told us to come to her house so she could "beat the crap out of us." Be advised, her home at **************** is a meth lab. Her phone number is **********. She also goes by the name Amber Lewis or Amber Dawn Lewis or Amber Dawn White. She lies about everything and has a psychopathic urge to hurt people for no reason. She is fat ugly white trash. She is totally trashy and a very typical Idahoan. Amber Dawn White of *****, Idaho clearly has a mental illness amongst other problems and she should never be allowed to work in health care again.

Both grandparents lived here for multiple years and passed here. Loved the time here, staff was great, and facilities nice. My grandpa didnt care for the food mostly because my grandma was an amazing cook and spoiled him for 65 years of marriage . I can see myself here someday nice place

Our mother is very well taken care of. She has frequent visits from the staff each day to deliver her meds, take her vitals and deliver meals when she requests them. We feel confident about our mothers care and are worry free. Everyone is treated like family and the staff always calls residents by name when they see them.

My father lived here for more than two years. The facility is upscale and spotless, the staff is competent, but most importantly they are warm hearted people who really got to know and cared for dad. I visited many times over the years, I always felt welcome.

I moved to TOUCHMARK April 1st, 2017 due to medical issues and it was just time to be near family. The exterior of TOUCHMARK at Meadow Lake Village, is amazingly well cared for, but it is the inside, the staff and other residents that affirmed I made the right choice. Alllll the staff from maintenance to housekeeping, to kitchen, front desk, activities folks and office staff made an effort to know my name quickly, and made me and others comfortable. The food is bountiful and good and we never lack for activities. It is comfortable to participate in numerous activities, or not. Since moving here my energy has improved, my eating and my general mood have improved. Thank you all for helping to improve my quality of living.

Very caring staff that are great to work with. I work with those in the memory caring assistance and I have high respect for how well they treat the residents here. I would recommend this facility and housing for anyone seeking to give family members comfortable living and community.
