Hey everyone, I just want to take a few minutes to express my feelings about working for Addus! First let me say, I have worked for several local agencies and if I am honest? Addus is hands down the best...Yep, it was awful for a while, office staff seem to be here n there but let me say this...Every company is going to have its share of problems but I have to admit, our current head of office Matt, is the best we have had since I started in 2012.. Matt, is not only kind but hes amazing, he works with us, he keeps us informed, he does what a great boss should do! He doesnt make you feel like you are replaceable...Matt understands our worth and he fights for us when its needed...He's there to listen and guide us, to solve issues and encourages us to be the best caregivers we can be...Caregiving is a thankless job most times but look at it this way, you can work for a company that gives you top pay with amazing benefits but then ask yourself this 1 very important question...Are you happy and making a real difference in the world? I dont look at it like I work for Addus, I work for and with Matt because he is our go to, he knows we deserve more and he will continue doing the best he can to help us...If you truly want to make a difference, be a caregiver at Addus, with Matt and others, people need people like us. Think about YOUR family, if you couldnt be there daily to take care of them wouldnt you want someone else there? Just think about it, the benefit of caring for others is far more rewarding then top pay! Just my thoughts and opinions... I am a totally disabled and blind veteran with special needs. I started with Addus Agency some years ago and was very happy with the company. Unfortunately during the pandemic I was forced to use another agency, which I found was undependable and irresponsible. I have been able to get back to Addus in Lewiston Id, where I reside. The manager Matt and his assistant Jennifer are really good to deal with. They compliment my military service frequently, which I appreciate very much. Instead of being just a paycheck they treat me with Dignity and Respect. THANK YOU ADDUS AGENCY OF LEWISTON IDAHO! GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ADDUS AGENCY!!
