I have lived here for the last 3 years, and I love it! I am 92 and I was afraid to drive and my kids live out of town so I decided to move in. The rooms are very quiet and I feel like it is safe outside the door. I play cards and love the food. Poeple here are very friendly, residents and staff. I recomend this retirement community.

Royal Plaza is a community that truly cares for Its residents. I feel incredibly grateful that we found Royal Plaza of Olympus Retirement Living for our loved one. Before moving him here, we were worried about whether he'd be happy and receive the level of care he truly needed. Those concerns disappeared quickly. The staff is attentive, proactive, and genuinely human in their approach. They keep us informed, monitor his vitals and medications, and stay on top of his day-to-day wellbeing in a way that gives our whole family peace of mind. Team members like Dale, Jana, and Charlie consistently go above and beyond, whether that’s starting a model car club, being available when questions arise, or following through on every detail of his care. The many social activities have helped him become more engaged than he’s been in years, and seeing him enjoy these moments means the world to us. Knowing he is safe, supported, and truly looked after helps us sleep better at night.

I have interacted with this facility regularly and witnessed their care of their residents in my capacity with hospice. They do an excellent job caring for their residents needs, creating an environment of teamwork among their staff, and creating enjoyable community based activities for the residents to participate in so the community is a fun environment to spend out your days. I would highly recommend this facility for your loved ones!

My Mother lived at Royal Plaza for almost 3 years. When she first moved there she was needing help with daily activities because of an injury and age. It was such a relief to know that she was getting the help she needed and the staff was good at checking in to help when she needed it. There were daily activities and extra gatherings to partake in even though she didn't always take advantage of them. She gained new friends and had a much better social life than living at home by herself too much. Even though passage of time and age made it more difficult to get around the staff was very good to encourage her to keep moving. But when falls would set her back they were there to give the additional help needed to make her comfortable and give her extra care and attention. As time progressed and Mom needed more and more help and attention they were there running up and down stairs all day long to make extra checks to see that she was ok or if she needed or wanted help with anything. Staff was very helpful to recognize that moving her closer to the nurses station would be better for them to keep a closer watch over her needs. And they were right. After moving her to the first floor it was better for everyone. Mom would always keep me posted on friendly staff really making her day better. Friendly smiles and kind helpfulness from all the staff [nurses, CNAs and cleaniing/maintenance] really added a lot to her day. Even though they were very busy they managed to give her time and attention that she appreciated. It was like making new friends that cared about her health, happiness and her life. Some meals were great and others not so much. It is not easy to cook for large groups and make everyone happy at the same time. Even though there is a variety of items over a period of time, I can see that it seems like you eat the same things a lot. The food isn't always cooked the way you would do it yourself. But, servers try to get you things you ask for that will improve it as per your tastes. Most people would prefer to be in their own homes, but when that was not possible for us any more Royal Plaza supplied a good solution for kind, compassionate and friendly care and added social interaction. Mom and our family appreciated the happiness and smiles and friendships that all the different staff brought into our Mom's life.

The apartments are homey and efficient and the staff go out of their way to help make each resident's transition as easy as possible.

The staff at Royal Plaza are kind, compassionate, professional and trustworthy. My mother loves living at the retirement center and adjusted to her new surroundings well because of Royal Plaza’s friendly welcome and personal touch. COVID was hard but the care my mom received was without a doubt the best to keep her safe and healthy. Royal Plaza is beautiful, always smells clean and designed with easy access for their residents. The entire staff at Royal Plaza work together to make sure their residents are happy and cared for. I recommend Royal Plaza Retirement Center 100%.

My Grandpa loved living in there apartments. I used to join him on several occasions for lunch, very welcomed by staff and other residents. He was available to visit with no questions asked. He loved playing cards and activities that were available to him. Royal Plaza is a very comforting, great care and service, in my experience. ’

Royal Plaza is a great place to bring your loved one when they can no longer live on their own anymore or just need a little bit of extra help with their everyday daily needs. The management and employees there are amazing! They always make sure their residents have everything they need to feel welcome, happy, and loved, and are always very well taken care of! They have a great kitchen staff also and the food tastes great!

Our mother lived at Royal Plaza Retirement for over 6 years until she passed away. She loved her time there and the fact that there were so many activities to participate in. The family was always welcomed in to visit, participate in the activities and share a meal with her. We loved it! She was always treated with respect by the staff and the administrator; Mary England and Director of Nurses , Anne Wantz were always so good to her as well so compassionate and caring. They actually became family!! She loved getting to know all the other residents and share time and memories with them. If it is time for you or your loved one to take that next step from your home to assisted living, I definitely recommend Royal Plaza as your next home. You will be happy you made the move!

The robust activities department always has something fun and exciting planned, the clinical care team quickly and professionally provides superior care, and the overall environment is inviting and person focused. I can't say enough positive things about this facility! Definitely a place I would recommend to my loved ones to call their home in their golden years!

My grandmother was a resident of the Royal Plaza until her passing. The team of employees at the facility are very compassionate and caring and go above and beyond for those who reside there as well as make it a comfortable fun loving place for those visiting family as well. The residents are very kind as well to one another and make a great extended family for ALL who are apart of one big HAPPY HOME!!!
