We have been to many care facilities looking for the right place for my dad. The Terraces is by far the best all around. The facilities are attractive and well kept, the food and food options are great, and the staff go above and beyond to care for the residents as well as the residents families. I would recommend The Terraces to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming and happy place for their love ones.

A great recovery from being hit hard by the side effects of the pandemic, especially staffing. A top-notch facility, with a full range of services, well-executed.

My mother moved to the Terraces in 2016. At the time it was a very nice facility, and she was happy there. The Terraces was taken over by Human Good a few years ago and has declined immensely. To be fair, partly due to Covid and staffing issues. However, they seem to care more about profit than people. They keep raising prices on rent and food while cutting back on services. My mother's apartment was damaged by a flood in January of 2022. She has been living in a construction zone complete with dehumidifiers running 24 hours a day inside and outside her apartment for 8 months! Last week she was forced to move to a much smaller apartment, so they can start working on fixing her place. We asked that her rent be adjusted due to the much smaller (basically half the size) and were told she needs to wait for their insurance to settle! This has really taken a toll on her physical and mental health. The management is horrible about communicating and doesn't seem to have a plan. My 90 year old mom tells me this is the most unhappy she has been her entire life, so sad. UPDATE - December 2022 Still not in her larger apartment and NO rent reduction! Avoid this place.

When I moved here some thought it premature but I had my daughter's support; I was able to become active in my new community and came to be friends with so many more than if I'd waited, so I am an advocate for "Ease of Life" over " End of Life"

As a daughter to Mom whose rehabbed at The Terraces twice, I can't give this community enough stars! They motivated her to do her therapies without being pushy. They escorted her to activities and meals. She still can't stop talking about the food. You would have thought she was on vacation at a fancy resort rather that recovering from a broken hip. Thanks Terraces team, keep up the fantastic work!

Long term, Linden Village - we had mom on the long term side during the year of her life at the Linden Village. She was loved and cared for by the wonderful nurses and aids. During our visits we were always welcomed and I always knew mom was well cared for. I loved that the doctors and nurse practitioners were on staff and we did not have to take mom out to appointments. The Terraces eased some of the pain and anxiety of treating someone during the last few months of their life. I would recommend them to anyone in that time of need.

I work at the Terraces of Boise. It's a wonderful environment! It is a fabulous work culture. The HumanGood values of Passion, Inclusion, Courage, Innovation, and Impact are felt in the culture of the facility and in how everyone is treated. When there are issues, they are heard and addressed in a kind and caring manner. I find this is true for residents and team members.

Every time I go to the community, the employees are friendly and welcoming, the place is immaculate, the food is outstanding, and everyone is smiling. I don't know how you are doing it with all the things happening in the world today - but keep it up!

My Mom was in Longterm skilled care at the Terraces in Boise. She received wonderful care here. Her meals looked and tasted very appetizing plus were served on plates with water stemware and linens. Her building was always clean and fresh smelling. The staff really cared and did everything to look after her care and were always pleasant, greeting me when I visited even though it was unannounced. They really cared and went out of their way to make her active and engaged. It was great to take walks around the grounds outside and eat sometimes at the Bistro across the court with her. Thank you so much for all the care she received.

Country Club retirement living where the food is delectable, the activities are inspiring, and the finishes are top notch. I have a relative and several friends that live at The Terraces and it couldn't be more enjoyable. From exercise classes to group actives on site to off site excursions, its just a fun place to engage and relax as you embrace life in the fun lane with no responsibilities. The staff is accommodating, the dining areas are beautiful, the amenities are delightful. Everyone truly cares about each other and the people who work at the Terraces love their jobs and respect the residents.

Let me start by saying I don't live at the Terraces but i visit a family member on a regular basis. This place is does not remind me of a retirement community, it is more like a resort. Whenever i walk in i am always always always greeted by the nicest front desk people. The whole place is quiet, clean, and the staff is very professional. The food on site is not like a cafeteria, its more like a restaurant (great quality) ; although its nice to visit family i really do look forward to eating there. Its just a real, nice place to be. I am not old enough to live there, but i hope to be able to stay in a place like this when i am older.
