I am a employee of Heatherwood as a Life style Leasier Specialist, I am going on my third month working at the facility. I have got to say what a wonderful place too work! I'm happy to get up every morning and actually excited to go to work, our team is wonderful and our residents are even better ❤ I have so much fun working with them, I even introduced a new game called left right center we have a blast! I would recommend Heatherwood not only to live but also to be employed.

One will experience a competent carimg staff who are second to none in making you feel at HOME. It is a clean, exceptionally maintained, safe senior living community. Many stimulating activities on a daily basis. outstanding menus and well prepared food. Never left to feel isolated and brain and body improvement projects keep one current and involved in community and in society. Friendly neighbors. dont know where you could find better.

Moving my mom from her house and garden of 45 years was difficult. The staff and residents at Heatherwood have been nothing but kind to her and have assisted everyday in making sure she is welcome and feels at home. It is making the transition far easier than ever excepted.

i have been a resident at HEATHERWOOD since may 1,2011 and when i first arrived my breathing was poor and my ability to walk was worse. after much encouragement and improving suggestions by the staff my walking has advanced to one mile per day from 1, 2 a block and my breathing has improved considerably.my diabetes is under control and slowly im improving the strength on my right side where i suffered a small stroke in sept 2010. i enjoy the friendly culture at HEATHERWOOD and hope to continue to live here as long as the good lord allows. smiles to all,george baker
