Jeana couldn't have been more empathetic when discussing my situation and why I was looking at Independent Living Communities. She followed through on sending me the information and videos. Jeana couldn't haven't been more kind, helpful and supportive. You have quite a Gem in Jeana, and I'm looking forward to meeting her in person and to tour the Community. Thank You Jeana.

The Heritage at Northern Hills is definitely FIVE STARS!!! Look no further for a top notch assisted living facility. This is it! <3I moved my parents at the end of September 2020 from a different facility where they were not allowed to see each other for six months. They were both in the same facility, same building, one in skilled nursing, the other in assisted living. I tried and tried to work with the administration of this other facility for months to let my parents be together and I got no where with them. My father did not belong in skilled nursing but they refused to move him in with my mother so they could be together. When a couple has lived together for 66 years and are 88 and 90 they dont have much time left on this earth and had hardly ever been apart. They were both failing fast. The CEO even suggested we should look somewhere else!Unbelievable. So look somewhere else I did. I did hours of research and finally found The Heritage at Northern Hills. I have a couple of friends that knew folks that lived at Northern Hills and loved it. My first contact with Northern Hills was Jeana Veach, Senior Living Counselor. She was so sweet and went way above and beyond to help me make sure I got my parents out of their previous facility and into Northern Hills as soon as possible. Jeana was always available to chat with me and calm my fears. I had many many questions because I didnt want my parents going from the frying pan into the fire after our horrible experience at this other facility. Not to mention I live 900 miles away from my parents so I had to do everything remotely.Jeana was able to get my parents into a single one bedroom apartment temporarily and offered to move them across the hall to a larger apartment as soon as they could get a contractor in there to open up a wall. Believe it or not they opened up a wall between two one bedroom apartments just for my parents so they could have more room. Northern Hills wanted to accommodate my parents as much as possible! When we moved my parents into Northern Hills the director, Christy Nikkel, came out to the parking lot to introduce herself and calm all our fears and let us know if we had ANY issues we could contact her and she would take care of them. (my parents never ever met the CEO at the other facility). To date, Christy Nikkel, has followed through with her promise to always be there to help my parents with anything they need. She even helps on the weekends even though shes not in the office. Christy told my parents at Northern Hills they try to always accommodate as much as possible and they have done that and more even though they are dealing with CO-19 along with everything else. At Northern Hills they care about their residents and love them dearly!I also need to mention at the other facility where my parents were the food was consistently absolutely terrible and tiny portions. My mother said frequently it was not pleasing to the eye (aka it looked like slop) and tasted terrible. My father is a big guy and needs more calories. When we asked over and over if they would give him more food all they would do is push cookies and sugar at him and hes diabetic!!At Northern Hills my parents tell me every day what they had to eat and how excited they are that the food is fabulous and big portions. They never go hungry at Northern Hills. Ive actually tried the food at Northern Hills and it is so good.I know this is a long review but I could go on and on about how wonderful everything is at Northern Hills. Bottom line: THEY CARE!!!

Northern Hills has been nothing but wonderful to my mother-in-law and our family! Staff as well as the management team are great to work with. To mom the biggest blessing is that she was able to bring her dog Louie! It is such a relief to know that my mom, who has some dementia, is treated with respect and dignity.
