We were able to visit my mother-in-law for the first time since she moved into Memory Care a couple of months ago & I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from our shoulders! My grandfather was at Bickford of sioux city and it was an amazing place I wouldn't put a family member anywhere else. The staff is awesome and kind and caring they were amazing with my grandpa and my kids as i was there almost every day. I got sick and couldn't visit for like a week or 2 and the staff filled in for me and talked to him and kept him busy until I was well and able to visit again. To be honest I still miss going there almost every day. There activities are amazing and the have a wide variety so all residents have a chance to find something they enjoy .

I am not the resident at Bickford, I am the one responsible, the one who has to answer to the rest of the family, every time something happens to our precious loved one. Prior to COVID, many visited on a consistent routine, after COVID . . . well, it's a greater responsibility on the staff at Bickford to keep residents occupied & now, visits, you feel like you are "underfoot" or interrupting an important event. This is not a complaint. Bravo Bickford!!! for making residents feel "at home", in their own community with one another & to enjoy the best life they possibly can. Thank you. Ahhh, families . . . attend as many events as you can when you have been invited. . . because you have been invited into their home.

The Bickford of Sioux City was a nice well-maintained community. The staff was very friendly. The main reason we passed on this community was because my father wanted to be closer to the hospital that my wife works at, as well as the rest of our family. Other than that I was very impressed with the place.
