My family owes the professionals and staff at Bettendorf Health Care all of our love and appreciation they deserve. My mother was admitted into their care 03/07/2024, and by all accounts of what she had been through with her diagnosis and her overall health, my mother was not doing well and I felt like I was losing her. Because of their efforts and support I now feel like I have my mother back. Even if she needs long term care in a nursing facility, I will forever believe that BHC made it possible for me to have a lucid conversation with my mother again, even if she does not remember everything. To be able to get her to take the treatments that give back her dignity and slow down her symptoms to a more manageable level means the world to not just the family but to my mom. Kimberly, Mandy, Jessica, Coral, Jen, and everyone else that had a role in my mother's care will not be forgotten. I never once worried about things like property being lost or stolen. And what's more, they found items that my mom lost due to her health condition and promptly returned them to the family. Everyone I met was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. The staff really made this horrible situation something much much better. Sincerely, thank you.

I thank God for Jesus and keeping me from my old self, cause that receptionist would have gotten the business from first class. She is not welcoming, she is not polite, and she does not enjoy her job. Last week when I came by the tall, black young man would be great in her position. I glad she didn't ruin my Saturday.

I currently work as the Assistant Director of Nursing at this facility and I have been here a little over the year. I have seen a huge change and feel proud to be part of that change. One of my relatives needed skilled nursing care and I was proud to have her here. She received excellent skilled nursing care and therapy and is excelling at home. I would recommend anyone in the community needing services to come to our facility.

Very nice reception area with fireplaces to relax by! All meals are customizable to dietary preferences and requirements. Bettendorf Healthcare Center is located near many local doctor's offices, hospitals and clinics. Building is located in a quiet residential neighborhood.

"There are some great people here who are go-getters and really helped me meet my improvement goals so I could go home. The nurses were especially helpful in helping me to walk further. I also had physical therapy one-on-one in my room. That was very helpful. I went from walking just a few steps to walking the length of my room and back! A community feel, much better then any of the other nursing home I've been to! The CNAS love the residents, most of the nurses are very compassionate. The rooms are big and clean. My mom passed away there and I was very pleased with the care she got, she also had Compasses hospice they advocated a lot for her great combination of services. My only complaint is my moms mail did not get delivered, cards of people saying goodbye did not arrive until the day after she passed and they were postmarked 2 weeks prior. I asked Brandy the admin to follow up with me about what happened 3 times and I finally gave up calling. BUT every place has its flaws so I forgive them for that. The residents are so friendly they like to sit outside this is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood I actually miss going there!

Brother was patient there. Every few days something was taken from his room only to be returned a few days later. His billfold was taken and return mi nus money. Hearing aides were taken and never found. I called snd they said their staff and patients wouldn't steal. Funny but my brother died when the hearing aided were missing and they never did turn up. We search two rooms he had bsen in and thry didnt turn up. A nursd called to tell us he was dying. No one ever offered condolences. Went on like business was usual. Fortunate we were there. They called the wrong funeral home. We stopped them before they took my brorger away. Need i say m

The staff seems to be friendly, but EVERYTIME I stop by to visit my family member, his room smells bad and it's dirty. They either need more help or the help they have don't know how to clean. I understand it's not that great of a job, but it's what you have chosen to do, so do it right. It's actually sad because my loved one used to be very clean and now he can't help hisself. I feel bad but only for my family member, but others as well.

I currently live here and am looking for another option. Most of the staff is friendly but don't stick around for very long due to work conditions. I have compassion for the other residents who have a severe hunger for Jesus Christ!
