Reviews FirstLight Home Care – Honolulu
August 2024
First Light homecare is a home care program that is financially reasonable and caring. Their staff asks all the right questions to match your loved one to a care giver that would come in twice a week to give socialization and activities while the family may be free to go on errands or just have an outing. Highly recommend their services.

I highly recommend this to everyone. I enjoy working with them through the years. Being a single mom pretty hard to find a company that understands your situation. They also take care of their employees.
August 2023
happy with care my dad is receiving. He gets a lot of attention at the home. Care is good. He hasn't fallen once since he started living there. He fell 3 times at his previous care home and had to be hospitalized twice. The rates are reasonable.

We have retained First Light (FLHC) for my mother who lives in Honolulu for over 3 years. FLHC has done a terrific job providing assistance and companionship on a regular basis. They are well organized and managed and since we live on the mainland an invaluable resource to insure my mother gets the assistance she requires. The company regularly reviews and gathers input to update my mother's care plan. They have also been flexible to make schedule changes so that scheduled medical appointments can be kept. HIGHLY Recommend this great group of people!

We went through a few services before I found FirstLight to care for my mother. What a godsend they were for mom and for us. I am so grateful for their kindness to Mom as she was not that easy to care for. Lauri and Joanne worked with us to find the right combination of people to make mom happy and comfortable.

It's such a honor and blessing to be part of FirstLight Home Care as a caregiver. I feel so at home here because I finally found a company who treats me like ohana (family). It makes my passion as a caregiver even more joyful and rewarding to know I have a genuine, loving, compassionate, understanding and supportive staff (Lauri & Joann are AMAZING!!) to help be there for not only for my clients needs, but as well for myself. I definitely highly recommend FirstLight to those families who are looking for homecare for your loved ones as well for those who are also seeking employment. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
