My daughter is a resident at Legacy in Tifton and has been in this type of environment for five years and she is the happiest at Legacy. The staff is very gracious and helpful. I can't always go in and check on her but I know my answers are as close as a phone call. My personal experience in dealing with Legacy from the Director down to this precious women who care for her daily has been very positive and I know they care about my daughter and her welfare. That makes them number one in my book. Audrey is Tammy's regular caregiver and is a wonderful person always going a step beyond to do the little things that really makes the difference. Tammy feels safe and cared for there which blesses my heart. I pray for the ladies that work there because it's a hard job, but I am thankful for Legacy Of Tifton. Carrie, the nurse on staff is always helpful and willing to help answer my questions and ease my concerns about Tammy's care and issues that come up. Our family is thankful for Legacy Village. They provide wonderful care and recreation for our mother who suffers from dementia. Their staff is both loving and dedicated. Their recreation program provides spiritual, mental and physical activities for the residents. They have daily devotions and morning stretching. They have onsite activities and frequent outings to the aquarium, local farms, and restaurants. I can truly recommend Legacy without hesitation. We are blessed to have them in our community.

My father in law suffered with Alzheimer's for many years! My mother in law was a registered nurse and owned her own care home! As his conditioned worsened and his safety became an issue, I did some research and found that Legacy had a separate memory care unit! We were able to get him placed there and my mother in law lived with us for a while, until she, too was placed at Legacy in Tifton! I will tell you we never had to worry about them! The staff was wonderful, taking care of their every need! Audrey would always keep me updated if my mother in law need her particular "cappuccino" so I could get it replaced asap! My father in law was there for 5 years and most of that time he was on hospice! He became bedridden and had to be fed with pureed foods! We would stop in and random times of the day, several days a week, if possible! They were always given the utmost care! Misty has activities for those able to participate! They have games, parties, dress up days, go on field trips out to eat or for ice cream! Sometimes, they just go on country rides! Both of them have passed away now, but if you are looking for a place, I highly recommend Legacy! Communication and care is wonderful! When I toured the facility the first time, I was told "Our residents don't come here to die… they come here to live!" Thank you so much for allowing Nana and Poppee to "live" out their final days where they received the best of care!

I am so appreciative of the staff at Legacy Village in Tifton. They were always so eager to assist me and answer my questions concerning my loved one. Everyone was accomodating when we needed them. This staff at this facility and their activity organizer are dedicated to getting the residents to engage in daily scheduled fun activities. My family member truly enjoyed the daily morning devotions. Another positive is that the staff decorate Legacy for holidays and events providing a cheerful environment for all who reside, work and visit here.

When my siblings and I realized my mom needed more care than could be provided at home, we were a little overwhelmed and unsure of where to turn. From our very first meeting with the staff at Legacy Village, we felt reassured by the knowledgeable and caring staff. We had lots of questions and every one of those questions was answered in a way that gave us a much clearer picture of what to expect as our moms disease progressed. Admitting our mom to memory care was one of the most difficult decisions our family has ever faced. It also turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made. Our mom was not only well cared for; she was also well loved. The staff at Legacy Village treated my mom with such kindness you would have thought they were caring for their own mother. In particular, Natalie and my mom immediately bonded, and my moms face would absolutely light up when Natalie entered the room. It gave me such comfort to know my mom had someone whose company she so enjoyed! Legacy Village helped my family weather a truly difficult time. While we all worried about what my moms disease progression might bring, we never once worried about the level of care she was receiving. For our family, Legacy Village and the caring staff were a godsend.

This is a wonderful facility that I have had the blessing to get to know over the last 6 months. The management and Natalie or amazing and work long hard hours above and beyond what their job requires. They love the residents and they keep in touch with families about their patients care. In my opinion they treat them as they would treat their own family. If a family member in the area is looking for facility similar to this I would recommend this above any others in the area that I know. and I say that as a nurse thats been to multiple facilities. Highly recommended.

My Mother spent the last yr and 6 days of her life at this beautiful facility. She reconnected with old friends, enjoyed worship there, had nice nail- hair services , enjoyed good meals, participated in stimulating activities and was LOVED. Every staff worker we encountered were professional, kind and caring. The loss of my mama is hard but knowing how happy Legacy made her - proves that God led us to this family home

When searching for a home for my ninety-four year old grandmother, we were faced with a daunting decision. She was still independent in daily tasks but it was simply not safe for her to live alone. At first, we tried an at-home caregiver but security cameras revealed she was leaving her unattended (among other troubling behavior). Our family, and my grandmothers doctor, decided an Independent Living setting would be most appropriate. Now, as a family, we had to find her a new living arrangement. While several options were available in the area, Legacy Village felt the most like a home to us. The staff and caregivers were so genuine and helpful during this process—we knew we had made the right decision. Now, nearly a year later, that still holds true. We just cannot stress enough how happy we have been with Legacy. At first, my grandmother was a bit upset with the transition. She did not want to leave her home—a sentiment we all can understand. But we were encouraged to be patient by the Legacy staff and to give my grandmother a bit of time and space to adjust. Now, she truly loves her new home and the many, many friends she has made there.The greatest gift to us, as a family, is knowing she is safe, taken care of, and, of course, happy. On the few occasions she has not felt well or had a health concern arise, Legacy staff immediately contacted us and her doctor. They are attentive and truly caring for her and the other residents—something that cannot be said for many other facilities. The rooms and grounds are always clean with attention paid to safety. When we have attended events, the food has been delicious. At her birthday this year, Legacy even helped us coordinate a surprise party for her. Finding a new home for a loved one is, without doubt, a difficult task. If you find yourself in this position, do yourself and your loved one the favor and tour this facility. We rest easily knowing my grandmother is in such caring and capable hands. To be clear, Ive not been asked to write this review nor am I being compensated in any way. I just wanted to describe our experiences in the hope that I may help someone else.

Brookdale Redmond truly has a feeling of community. Their food is amazing and all made from scratch. They have monthly events that keep families together without the exhaustion of cleaning up or planning. The staff really takes the time for each person and shows compassion, which offers huge peace of mind knowing that quality care is actually being provided. They truly treat you and your loved one as family. I wouldn't want my family member to go anywhere except Brookdale Redmond.
