My family was searching for a place when my Dad was being discharged from the hospital. We really did not like the choices the hospital gave us. The Admissions staff were so accommodating and responsive to give me a tour, recieve and review his information and admit him within 24 hrs. Every aspect of his care was so gentle and encouraging. Nurses, techs, PT were always available with a postive attitude and ready to improve his health.

I am writing this letter to express my gratitude and appreciation for the level of care that my mother, Wilma Fontenot, is receiving by your amazing staff. I would like to say a special thank you to the following individuals: Tamara Gentles is incredibly professional, understanding, knowledgeable, and informative. She is a joy to work with. She has demonstrated extreme compassion and has worked tirelessly to insure that my mother receives the utmost care. Portia Jackson is nothing short of amazing. I am always impressed by the calm and professional way she handles crises. She always has a great and positive attitude even while under pressure. She exudes confidence and competence while demonstrating great integrity. She is compassionate, attentive, gentle, and caring. She is consistent, reliable, honest, and trustworthy. She is dependable and hardworking always willing to help with a smile. She has such a refreshing personality. She treats my mother with with absolute respect and dignity. She also treats her as I would imagine she treats her own mother which is extremely comforting. In my opinion, she goes over, above, and beyond the call of duty to insure that my mother's needs are met in a timely manner. She has helped to calm many of my fears as it relates to having my mother housed in a nursing facility. She knows this business well, and I am ecstatic about it. She is an angel here on earth. Kiyana Ortiz is very pleasant, respectful, and extremely helpful. Kendra Johnson has been very helpful in the short time that I have interacted with her. If you have other options...USE THEM! I could write so much about my experience in the last 6 months but I'll just keep it at this...the lack of organization, communication, and facilitation that has occurred at this place over the last 6months-1 year is disheartening and unfortunate. It seemed that after COVID-19, the facility changed tremendously. I won't name names or provide titles but I will stay...it stinks from the head down! Staff was rude, did not return calls, and never took accountability when they did something wrong and was called out on mistakes regarding healthcare wishes of family members (meaning they took it upon themselves to administer what they thought would be best, not once but TWICE). The 2 stars is because until recently, everybody didn't suck. loved the wound care nurse, a few CNA's, and the head janitor, but unfortunately they work in a facility where they will be grouped in with the rotten apples.

Rosemont is a great place to entrust your loved ones. My first impressions of Rosemont were not good at all. My mom was in chronic pain, and it seemed to me they were doing very little to ease her pain. I may have even been a little aggressive with some of the workers there with what I perceived as a lack of care on their part. However, as time passed, I realized there was so much that I did not understand about my mom's care and the staff was in fact doing their jobs quite well despite my constant questioning of their competency. My mom's pain could not be totally relieved due to its nature and at that time the best that could be hoped for was to manage the pain and give medication in a timely manner to achieve this. That process unfortunately takes time to diagnosis and then prescribe a treatment plan, and this is exactly what they were doing. After spending some time at Rosemont and gaining an understanding of what they were doing I found them to be totally professionals and a very caring staff. From the director to the head nurse, to the nurses, to the social workers, to the physical therapist and yes even the janitorial staff were very pleasant, competent, and caring people. Of course, like any facility there are a few bad apples, but I did not let that detract from my overall opinion of this facility. I found my true issue with Rosemont in the beginning was watching my mom suffer in acute pain and seeing very little be done. The real problem was I didn't know how medicine and treatment works and some things just take time. I would recommend Rosemont at Stone Mountain because they are simply one of the best around!

I read several reviews, and visited several facilities before chosing Rosmont for my mom. I decided on Rosmont because the staff seemed the most authentic out of all the places I considered. Typically these facilities will put their best foot forward to get you to sign your loved one up, and then all the love an attention disappears. I am happy with my decision to have Rosemont care for my mom because she truly seems happy there. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and I never worry about safety; all things that are extremely important to me. In fact, you need to be buzzed in to leave (or enter), which makes me feel that my mom is safe and secure.

The perfect facility your loved ones, my grandmother is currently at stay here i visit her often and get the most welcoming feel from staff and patients. Good nursing home great director that's what I wrote two years ago now everyone has quit and it's going bad my uncle can't walk all his stuff stolen including his tv and they charged me all types of fees that they said Medicade would take care of so soon I'm a have to take him out smh it's all bad

The CNA's at Rosemont are awesome! On Fathers Day I couldn't enter the facility because of COVID19. The CNA who was working with my loved one went above and beyond her regular duties to collect phone numbers of the children of loved one to facetime them. They live out of state. She also gladly sent me pictures of him and convinced him to have a shave!! She responded to each request I made. I would recommend this Nursing Home because the CNA's are patient and courteous all the time.

All employees are professional and happy people. They treat the residents with a helping, loving and appropriate attitude. Food is great(I sneak a bite), bedrooms/bathrooms always clean. Whole facility is spotless, with no smells whatsoever. Also, all staff guides me to the correct Dept. when needs for the loved one arise. Thank you Rosemont staff!!
