The va hospital found masalon's personal care home for my brother. It's a very loving, peaceful and quiet environment there. Everyone there gets along with everyone. And the food there is so delicious home cooked. Different menu every day. The place is so clean. The price is very affordable compared to other personal care homes that I've been looking at. Unfortunately, things didn't go well there for my brother. Because he has psychological, and behavioral problems. No one in their right mind will put up with his disrespectful and selfish, behavior. He lived there for two weeks until they couldn't tolerate him anymore.So now he's right back at the VA hospital. Hopefully they will find the right medication that he needs for his behavior and mental condition. Thank you very much. Leonard Hughes.

My husband had been in the hospital for some time and I could not care for him 24 hours a day at home. He's on several medications and a diabetic, and also a disabled veteran. Someone from the VA told me about Masalon's Personal Care Home. I am so very thankful, and relieved that he is there now and doing so well. They treat him like family. He is well cared for and doing so much better in a home environment rather than being stuck in a hospital room. There is someone available at all hours if he needs help. I am relieved. Masalon's is operated by a wonderful family and staff. It's smaller, but allows them to give one-on-one personal attention to each resident. They prepare home cooked meals and keep a very nicely organized daily schedule which keeps things running smoothly. I am very well pleased by their home, and how well my husband is doing there.

If you are looking for a facility to house and care for your loved one, and you value genuine, quality care over fancy aesthetics, then look no further, you have found a treasure in this facility. My siblings and I had to make the difficult decision of placing our father in a facility as he could no longer adequately care for himself. Our situation was critical as we needed to find our father emergency placement after a brief hospital stay. Masalon’s Personnel Care Home was recommended to us by a Hospital Social Worker, who so graciously went above and beyond to assist us as our case was unique and critical. Our father was discharged from the hospital very late in the evening. A Staff Member, in charge of resident intake, left their home that evening to return to the facility to meet us there. As it was super late, we could not view the entire facility, however the room our father was initially placed in, towards the front of the building, was clean and adequate. The staff worked with us to get initial paperwork started. Having to leave our father was super hard, but the staff assured us he would be ok. The next morning we returned to the facility to complete paperwork and bring our father’s personal items. This is when we were able to see more of the facility. The facility was not as nice as other fancier facilities that houses memory care patients, however our in just the few hours he had been housed there, he was alert, clean, and had been well fed. We could tell that overnight, they worked diligently with him to get him in a much better state. Within the first week, our father began to settle in and began to trust the staff. His overall health and mood improved greatly, and we felt confident that he would receive great care. The staff would regularly call us and give us updates, as well as send updates with photos and videos through text messages. Within two weeks, our Father’s transformation was miraculous. We not only found true angels in each staff member, I consider each of them as friends.

Finding Masalon's Personal Care Home for my mother was a blessing. She was in another facility for a year and her health was declining. As soon as she moved into Masalon, we saw her health and mood improve. The facility is clean and well kept. The staff is warm, supportive, and professional. The staff at Masalon’s Personal Care Home makes you feel like you’re leaving your loved one with family. My uncle has been there for a while now and seems to be very pleased (Believe me if he wasn’t, he has no problem making it known. ). I can also attest to my uncle’s health showing great improvement since arriving at the facility. I really appreciate the willingness and constant communication with the staff to reassure the family that our loved one is doing well or whenever things are not quite okay. The quick response & ability to problem solve is comforting. Lastly, it appears the residents too become family with one another making each other’s stay a little easier!

We found Masalon's after several stays by my mother at other facilities, the previous one being way too institutional. From the moment we made contact, Mami has been responsive and sensitive to both my mother's needs as well as our own. They treated her with dignity and tender care and we were even able to use hospice services(through Ennoble) at their home, rather than needing to move my mom to another facility during this stressful time. They were great at communicating the times when they would see my mother's old self, which came and went due to her dementia and really made a connection with her to the end. We will be forever grateful for the time my mother had with Masalon, Mami, and the rest of their family of caregivers.

The staff here gives great care. I would give 10 stars! My mother in law was here (after a rough stay elsewhere) and she was well loved..the staff cried with us when she died. It was like they adopted her. In spite of her dementia they were able to see her real self. When my time comes I would be glad to live here.

A dear friend suffered a stroke and was in a coma. After more than a year in the hospital, he was transferred to Masalon. I flew up to Atlanta to make sure he was in good hands.
