I will be forever grateful for the amazing kindness and care from EVERYONE at the Oaks at Stockbridge during my Mother’s stay there. The kindness starts at the top, then continues through EVERY single person on staff there in EVERY position, and continues throughout the residents. My Mother’s every need was met by a joyful caregiver, and her room was always clean. She enjoyed all of the fun, engaging activities, and she was supported by some precious Christ-like friends that she met at the Oaks. If your loved one needs assisted living above level 4 this is not the place for you. The facility accepted my mother after two zoom interviews and an in-person interview, and the Oaks accepted her. Therefore, I thought they would be able to care for her. Apparently, they just wanted to fill a room. They gave her a room that had a toilet that was not accessible from a wheelchair. This made things difficult for all. About three weeks in, one of the assistants hurt my mother's arm while taking her off the potty alone. Note that we were paying for two person assists. I came to visit shortly after this and found my mother hunched over in her chair crying. The next day she went to the hospital because of pain. When she returned, the Oaks made the decision that they could not care for her and put her in her bed to stay until I could find another place for her. Making my mother stay in bed for almost two weeks set her back tremendously and was totally unacceptable. To "add insult to injury", upper management did not return phone calls or emails, and they refused to refund the $2200 one-time facility fee even though they asked her to leave less than a month after she checked in. The fact that management totally ignored me was/is shocking, insulting and unprofessional. Note that about 80% of the staff are awesome here and were nice to my mother, it only takes one or two staff members to ruin things. The food is good, and my mother made fast friends at her dining table. The facility is clean. The rooms are nice. Definitely a nice place for someone at level 1,2 or 3.

This place was an answer to prayer. My family had to make an decision regarding our mom needing more assistance in living and visiting this place made that decision easy. AnneMarie, Alexis, Christy and Shauna were such a joy to speak with and so welcoming. My daughter, daughter in law and I felt so at ease with everyone. It was like we had known each other a long time. The ease of everything was fabulous. The meals, the staff and the activities keeps everyone engaged. Our mom who is a "diva" kept saying "she wasn't going to like it" at every turn has yet to make that statement after being they for two weeks. As a previous ombudsman I had always hoped to find a place that checked all my boxes for my parents. So when I say "I am so pleased" is an understatement. Thank you for all the attention you share not only with my mom but with all the residents that I have had the pleasure of meeting. They are always available for any questions, situation or concerns you might have. Thank you for everything.

I visited the Oaks at Stockbridge to gain information for my loved one. The level of care, time, and attention to ease my mind as I prepare to transition my loved one to Assisted Living was more than I could have asked for! I ended up staying long past my appointment and felt I was amongst family and those who are genuinely concerned. We moved my mother into The Oaks last November after my father passed away. She has never been so loved and cared for. Each and every staff member is exceptional The Oaks is like a family to all the residents and they go above and beyond to make sure every resident is taken care of just like family. I would definitely recommend this facility! being in the medical field for over 20 years, I've been to several Assisted Living Homes and I rarely see places like this .The atmosphere is welcoming,the residents are all happy ,the residents see the same faces everyday and I feel that's so important,I could go on and on lol,To the staff Great Job thank you for loving your job "teamwork"

Tha Oaks at Stockbridge has exceded our expectations. Friendly staff, cleaniness of the facility and the meals are the positive feedback we’ve received from mom. The communication between the staff and management is slways timely and on point! Mom had been at the Oaks st Stockbridge for almost three weeks and the adjustment and transition has been great; she relayed that she feels content here. Thanks to Management and Staff for helping us on this journey!

Until this past year, my 95 year old mother had been living alone in her home of 58 years. After a mini stroke left her unable to drive, and declining health due to congestive heart failure made her house too much we made a move closer to me this past July. After a few months in another facility, we made the move to ELSL, and it has been the best decision we could have made. The director and staff are caring, competent, and friendly. They can call residents by name, and they are always willing to assist in any what they can. I can now rest assured that my mother is receiving excellent care, and that the staff is able to give me helpful feedback on my mother’s status. I highly recommend Eagles Landing Senior Living for your loved ones in need of care.

My father recently had a life altering stoke shortly after losing his wife. The family needed a facility close to his home where he could thrive. Eagles Landing Senior Living in Stockbridge fit that to the letter. They have an amazing staff, chef prepared meals, numerous social events and activities. My father loves his new home and the ability to still live in his own suite and have many choices of events to attend. I highly recommend Five Star for your loved ones. Special thanks to LeAnne and Toni for helping with the entire process of enrollment, tour, helping with medicines and anything else I needed. And most of all John in maintenance who helped the family with hanging pictures, curtains and artwork; he is a true reflection of the customer first attitude of Eagles Landing Senior Living!

My Mom has been at Eagles Landing for almost two years and she had had a wonderful experience. The entire staff is always friendly and they speak to everyone. Connie is a wonderful receptionist and she is always a joy to talk to. She loves interacting with the residents and she always has a funny story to share with me regarding something Mom said or did. David is a great activity director. He plans wonderful activities for all of the residents and takes a genuine interest in the residents and their families. He definitely holds their interest and is great about letting the residents know about all of the activities for the day. Toni is a wonderful director and she is always available to discuss any cares or concerns regarding your loved one. She also has such a beautiful smile. Everyone knows that the food is an important part the day. Woody and his staff do a great job of preparing wonderful meals. I frequently talk to the residents regarding their satisfaction regarding the food and it is always positive. Angelina and her staff also do a great job in caring for the residents. The medication is given in a timely manner and their physical needs are met. If any concerns do come up, the staff is great about giving me a call for further discussion. Mom is happy and has a caring and friendly staff looking after her. It is a relief to me to know that Mom is in good hands.

My mother has lived at ELSL for a year now. She requested that my brother and myself arrange for her to move here. She seems to be very happy and enjoys the accommodations and all of the activities provided. The staff are very caring and attentive to her needs. She says the food is great, and David C. has plenty of interesting thing for the residents to do, taking them out to eat and on occasional bus rides, among other things.

We are so grateful to have found this place for my mama. It has given her a sense of independence and given us (her children) piece of mind. The staff at Eagles Landing Senior Living is WONDERFUL! I wish I could recognize each one by name but I'm afraid I would leave someone out. We are kept informed of any issues by phone calls and meetings when necessary. When I have had questions I have always had easy access to the person I needed to talk to. I feel like the staff really cares about my mom and that means a lot to us all.

My Dad came to Dogwood Forest back in October. He had a stroke the first of September and was in a nursing home getting physical therapy before coming here. It was a horrible experience at the nursing home and my father seemed to be getting worse. If anyone were to ask I would say to stay clear of that place. My mother and I decided to look for somewhere else. We went and looked at several places. We just knew as soon as we were greeted at the front door at Dogwood this was where he needed to be. As we walked through the staff was so welcoming and really engaged with the residents. (keep in mind it was a surprise visit we had no appointment). We continued to look at other places and nothing felt more like home than Dogwood Forest at Eagles Landing. It was almost immediately that my Dad started to improve. I am not exaggerating either. He continued his physical therapy there and continues to improve with all the love the staff gives. Thank you so much Dogwood and staff. You are truly a blessing to so many. We are up there daily and at different times. We feel like everyone there is an extension of our family.
