Willow Pond is such a nice, clean and friendly place to visit with very attentive staff. My mother in law has just moved in and absolutely loves it. I have gained a sense of peace just knowing she is in such a great place and being taken care of so well. Thank you Willow Pond!

Excellent facility. Clean, fastidious about Covid precautions, our resident loves her accommodations and the food. Very friendly and professional staff. Meds are given on time and with care. Very glad to have my family member here.

One of the most difficult things a child has to do is become a parents guardian due to dementia or Alzheimers. Placing a love one in a facility and entrusting complete strangers to care for them for their own good is a hard decision. My family and I debating for over a year on what was best for my mom. We toured many assisted living facilities in South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and Georgia before we selected Willow Pond in Statesboro, Georgia. She had delusions and was paranoid so we couldnt rely on her to tell us about her treatment. It was a trying time and I was full of doubt and uncertainty. The staff at Willow Pond was there for me every step of the way. The helped me understand what was happening to my mom and how to handle it. They comforted me when I was stricken with despair because my mom was in front of me but was no longer able to communicate much less recognize me. From the sitters, med techs, the chef, activity director, the office staff, the nurse even the director made me feel like we made the right choice. They all treated my mom like she was their mom. The kindness that they showed my family during the last few days of my moms life went above and beyond. As many facilities have locked their doors due to the pandemic Willow Pond allowed my family to spend the last six days of my moms life with her. They took precautions to protect everyone (we were brought in the back door, temperature taken, placed in protective gear, required to wear a mask and had to remain in her room the whole time) but we were given precious time that so many other facilities are not allowing, including the place my father in law was at, he passed away without seeing his family for over eight months. Thank heavens, Willow Pond understood how important this time was for my family and my mom. Chandler, the director, came out in the middle of the night to meet me when the time was near. Lisa, the nurse came and checked on us. Each med techs came in to make sure my mom was comfortable and see if they could do anything for us hourly. The chef came by and offered his condolences and see if we needed anything. There wasnt one person that did not come by and pay their respects to us and see if they could help. The peace of mind that Willow Ponds staff gave me during the hardest most difficult time in my life is beyond priceless. I highly recommend this place and there is no place I would entrust a love one more than I do Willow Pond.

What makes a difference in this facility is the personalized care that people receive. Care is given based on what a resident needs or what they might want. Care is scheduled when the resident wants it and not so it is convenient for the workers.

Willow Pond is very nice, well kept, affordable, and has everything we're looking for for my mother. We're in the process of moving her in. They have nice people there. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment which overlooks the pond in the back. It has two big windows, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Inside Willow Pond, it is like you're visiting someone's home. The staff members are nice. They have exercise programs that residents can participate in. They attend church services, play board games, read, do crossword puzzles and arts and crafts, and cook and mend clothes. They have companion sitter services, too. They provide medication reminders and assistance with ambulation.

Willow Pond seems to be an excellent and wonderful place. They have group spaces, an activity room, a theater room, and small apartments. The staff members were excellent, accommodating, kind, and knowledgeable.

Everyone that I have met on the Staff, have been friendly and professional. Most important, they treat the residents with dignity and caring. The staff /patient ratio allows necessary attention to all residents. They maintain the facility like a 5 star hotel. Laundry is done weekly, but more often if needed. They have activities scheduled mornings and afternoons daily during the week, somewhat lesser on the weekends because of heavier visitation by family.
