This is the 2nd time our Mom has been at Delmar Gardens for Rehab. The entire staff are amazing and professional, and the rooms and building are always clean. Moms been in other rehabs over the years after an hospital stay, and DELMAR IS THEE BEST, and most importantly mom feels comfortable and happy when she’s there. She said if she ever needed to go full time into Nursing home, DELMAR is where she wants to go. Thank you to all your amazing staff from admissions, to nursing staff, to housekeeping and kitchen staff for your great care of our mom.

The Executive Director for Independent and Assisted Living, Rubiana, is to be commended for her caring. She goes above and beyond to make sure the residents needs are met. There are endless activities and the eating space is extremely pleasant.

There is a family like atmosphere here at the gardens. Independent living, and the residents and staff members are warm and friendly and joyful. The seniors are engaged in various enriching activities that keep them involved throughout the day. The cruise ship week experience was outstanding and very enjoyable. We felt that we were on a real cruise ship. The week-long experience included a captain's dinner, a night at the casino as well as a cruise ship party. We had an amazing time! We take trips to baseball games, theater, plays, art, museums, restaurants, city tours and many more. Many of us attempt to maintain our fitness with daily walks around the facility. Meals are provided. I highly recommend Delmar Gardens independent living if you're insert for a place for Mom"

My 98 year old mother resides at Delmar Gardens (Smyrna) and has lived there since 2013. Delmar Gardens (Smyrna) has shown my mother lots of love and concern as she continues to age. Sure, there are problems from time to time, but we dont worry about mom because we feel that she is in good hands on a daily basis at Delmar Gardens (Smyrna) and any concern is addressed. My family consistently checks on our mother to ensure that she receives the care that she needs. The Director, Lokyee Lee, the Social Worker, Clare Smith and all of the Nurses, Doctors and CNAs should be commended on the quality care they provide.

When I need a loving environment- this is where I want to be! My 75 year old mother has been at Delmar Gardens in Smyrna since July She is in the independent living side and I could not be happier with this decision. There are fabulous activities for the residents, healthy food, transportation is available to doctors and shopping, not to mention the salon, and doctors that come to Delmar so residents can get everything they need without even leaving home! Perhaps the best part of Delmar is the administration and staff they truly care about their residents! From Mrs Jennifer to Ms Rubyona, Ramona, Rose, Phyllis, Mario, Nate, Ericka, Donna, Bri, Deborah, Yaya and all The peace of mind I have knowing my mother is in a safe space being cared for means everything! My sister and I have already decided when we want a bit more support, we will room together at Delmar!

This place just getting worse and worse besides the residents and very few good employees this place is horrible , it’s all about money to these ppl !!! They treat residents horrible especially the new director he has made it even worse , the facility is falling apart along with your employees that’s why they don’t stay , you guys don’t take care of them at all , Also why are the walls carpets staircase so filthy and the healthcare side smells horrible certain times if the day , who wants to visit a facility like this the food has gotten even worse you guys lost some good workers at this place not it’s going to ruins !!!! Clean those Carpets get a commercial company or replace them it’s disgusting along with those dirty vents people are breathing through

I just left Delmar Gardens today. I was there for a month, couldn't have had better care and therapy during my stay. The staff was so careing, I broke my ankle they took care of me in every way like I was at home. A huge thank you to all the staff.

Finding the right place for your loved one is a mind boggling, emotionally taxing, sometimes feeling of hopelessness until after examining all the data and making all the phone calls you finally make contact with caring, knowledgeable, professional and compassionate people like Danielle Wells and Melissa Jones of Delmar Gardens of Smyrna who make you feel like family and you know without a doubt that this is it!! My mother is 90 and had repeatedly expressed her fear of going to a nursing home but she now tells everyone that at Delmar Gardens she believes she is in heaven.... everyone is wonderful!!

Moving my 92 year old mother from her friends and her home for 60 years was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But the staff and residents at Delmar Gardens have made the transition so much easier for us. From the moment I walked in the door I knew this was the Assisted Living Facility for her. The big pink and purple flowers on the carpet, the cool light fixtures, the neon green and fuchsia furniture, and the pastel walls make the place look more like a trendy resort than a senior living facility. There is a happy feeling when you walk in the door. My mother has done so well and I’m so thankful for the caring staff that gives her so much attention and provides so much to make her lifestyle comfortable and enjoyable.

Having to make a decision for rehabilitation services for an older loved one is a very difficult choice - especially in the midst of a pandemic. Choosing Delmar Gardens for my father's care was the RIGHT choice. I initially based my decision to pursue Delmar Gardens because of other reviews, and they have been positive and accurate. I recommend Delmar Gardens as a place to trust for elder care.

The Del Mar staff in the assisted living section were very caring and went above and beyond for my dad, I could tell they had true affection for him. The front desk staff is always smiling and works to resolve any question or request quickly. They put on events that are engaging for residents and visitors - I'd love to go back to the car show next year. When we had an issue, management was on top of it working with us to resolve things. I would not hesitate to recommend Del Mar.

Very nice place. Good food. Clean. The staff is always very nice. I have not encountered a staff member that wasn't exceptionally helpful and patient. They have a tough job. Places like this have residents who have issues. Most problems I have observed are created by residents. The staff responds and take action as quickly as possible. They have many activities. And residents who choose to partake in the activities are much better off.

I have a family member who's been at Delmar Gardens since June after having been in 2 previous nursing/rehab facilities. This place is very impressing. Beautiful, always clean and cheerful, excellent health care and an amazing staff. There are several dining rooms that look like a restaurant dining room not a mess hall. The food is very good. Staff has their meals there too. Nice outdoor areas and everyone seems to strive to accomadate the residents. The physical therapist have brought him from being bedridden to walking with a cane, going to the dining room for meals and interacting and enjoying the company of other residents. Very nice rooms with carpeted floors, pretty windows with a view to beautiful grounds.
