During the years my mother has been in assisted living at Somerby, there has often been a problem with the late response of staff when she calls for things such as meds being given at the times doctor has prescribed. When we joined her for lunch, we often had to wait a long time to be seated and staff ignored us after receiving our meals. Quality of meals worsened over time. It seems Somerby needs more staff to assist those who pay a lot to live there (which is why its called assisted living).

Somerby is a beautiful campus. Everyone I have met are so kind. I have seen associates go out of their way to help residents and other staff. I would recommend Somerby to anyone with aging parents or for themselves. Five stars for sure.

Wonderful place to work and to call a second home. Residents, associates, families, food, activities, housekeeping, maintenance are all amazing. Somerby is a great company to work for, after 20 years of working in the Senior Housing Industry I have found a place I can call home. I am so happy to be part of a company that cares so much for their Residents and Associates. Somerby Peachtree City is a great Senior Living Community, the staff is very caring and the services that we provide are excellent. I plan on moving my in laws from Florida into the assisted living Community soon.

Somerby allows residents to have their furry, four-legged family members live with them in a very nice, home-like environment. The staff at Somerby is friendly & helpful.

Somerby is a very fine facility, only 1 year old, the staff is very cordial and the residents happy. My Dad is in Memory Care there and gets good care. I only have 1 complaint and that is they do NOT have someone you can call 24, 7! You should ALWAYS be able to reach a staff person when you have someone there you need to call about. I got a call from Somerby at 7:30a this morning - the message was not detailed but asked that I call back. When l called back numerous times, got no answer, so I went there and after repeated attempts to get someone to let me in, no response. I got home around 9:00am and called then. The concierge answered and put me through to a manager. She was courteous, but I am not confidant that they will change policy. My Dad has only been in this facility 6 months, and l have had several instances of not being able to get through to someone. There is no excuse for any assisted living facility, memory care, especially a top notch facility like Somerby, to not have someone l can call anytime. l am my Dads responsible party, and pay well for his care. I think family members should be given a direct access number. This is my only complaint about Somerby.

My mother was at Somerby in Peachtree City for a year and a half. It is a beautiful facility with the potential to be a wonderful assisted living facility. My mother was cared for well but the lack of communication from the facility and the difficulty communicating with people in charge there was a huge issue. We had to BEG for care plan meetings to discuss my mothers care and even after meeting, nothing changed. It is impossible to call someone to speak to about any problems. For the amount of money spent on care at Somerby, I would expect top notch service and response to emails and, or phone calls. Emails and phone calls go unanswered and follow-up is slow to non-existent.

My mother moved into the memory care unit at Somerby on June 30, 2015. She has alzheimers. It took two to three weeks for her to acclimate, just as they said it would. Yesterday, on Sept. 17, she said to my father, Im going to miss it when I have to leave here. Ive made so many new friends. We are so thankful she is enjoying herself at her new home.
