I can't say enough good about Merryvale. My aunt has been a resident there for several years and she always tells me how nice all the caregivers are to her. Davia reaches out monthly to see is she can assist in any changing needs; Martha does a superb job providing entertainment. It is truly a community that cares from Dakota at the front desk to Charles in Maintenance. I am comfortable knowing she is in good hands.

My father has been a resident at Merryvale for 3-1/2 years. It was a clean and beautiful place when he first moved in. The facility has gone down hill for at least the last 2 years. The rooms are always dirty. The trash is not emptied and most of the time there is not a bag in the can to hold the trash and dirty depends. Most of the time when I visit, there usually only one aide for the Rose Lane (memory care) section and sometimes you can't find one. There is never any toilet paper in the bathroom and now they ask us to even furnish the towels and wash clothes. If the facility is so unkept, are they taking any better care of those who aren't able to even complain/

I, along with a few of my church members, have volunteered in this community for several events and have found the staff to be so caring and accommodating to the residents. The community is always so clean. We are always excited when they call us to assist them. It truly is a great community.

Merryvale accepted my father as a resident who required PT after a hospital stay. He became a permanent resident after his PT and OT ended. The managers and staff at Merryvale were wonderful! They were so kind to him. Our family became close to them, as well. He unfortunately passed away recently of natural causes. He had always said that he would never live in assisted living nor a nursing home. He absolutely loved it at Merryvale! I highly recommend it for your senior loved one.

This facility is beautiful. They have creative and fun activities all thru the day. They also have season staff that have worked there for many years and are good at caring for seniors and doing life with them every day…with a smile.

My mother became a resident of Merryvale nine months ago and it has been an excellent experience. They have been very cautious regarding Covid and have followed all necessary protocols to keep the residents safe. The staff is patient and caring and the activities director keeps everyone active and entertained.

The staff make this place outstanding. My mother is a new resident on the memory care unit. They have taken real good care of my mother. They have utilized their personal phone to allow communication with my mother when they were on Covid lock down. So far...so good. Very pleased.

Merryvale has the most compassionate staff of any other community I have ever worked. The management team is awesome and will go out of their way to help their staff with anything needed. This assisted living facility feels like a home, NOT a hospital or nursing home. The staff have been wonderful and I can rest in knowing my relative is getting such excellent care. Everyone seems to have genuine care for each resident and there are always fun activities planned to keep things fun. I'm so thankful we found Merryvale!
