Horrible experience. Food is cold, way too salty. Nothing is ever done about it, either The resident counsel meeting is a joke. No one goes because none of the problems are ever fixed. It’s the same story month after month. Many people have moved out. New owners/management is just as bad as the prior. Avoid.

LaTresh Walker, head of nursing care, goes above and beyond to assist with all of my Mom's needs! If I go to her with a problem or a concern she is always more than willing and ready to help resolve the issue ASAP. When I need to be away for a few days, I have peace of mind just knowing that LaTresh will be there to keep an eye on my Mom. She is extremely capable, respectful, compassionate and professional at all times!!

After trying another nearby facility we moved my husband to Arbor Terrace East Cobb a year ago. Wow! What a difference it made! They promised us communication and great care and have totally delivered. Truly they should be everyone's first choice for anyone who's loved one needs constant care.

The caregivers, management, and employees at Arbor Terrace of East Cobb have always shown our family kindness and respect. They are friendly and helpful as well as easy to communicate with on a regular basis. Keshia, who coordinates the memorycare section, is so sweet, caring, and helpful; she obviously loves her job there as well as the whole community. The residents have fun and varied activities in both the assisted living and memorycare areas (Thanks, Erinn, for the pics of Dad!). The facility's common areas, outdoor patios with gardens, dining areas, and menus are very nice too. My father is in memorycare there. He is happy and doing well. We visit Dad three times a week, so we are able to see how well the caregivers interact with him regularly. Additionally, we have noticed how well-maintained this facility is as compared to other similar facilities that we have toured and that we have seen during visits with neighbor's loved ones. A great facility as a home for our loved one whom suffers from advanced Alzheimer's.

My mom, like many other older folks, had very mixed feelings about going to Assisted Living. What Arbor Terrace did, particularly Cynthia and Jennifer, is nothing short of miracle. They, together with other staff members, made mom feel secure and welcomed. Like any other place that employs a number of people, there are always challenges. Yet I can safely say that I have never had an instance when mom's or mine concerns have not been addressed. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a safe place, warm environment, and dedicated senior staff for their loved ones!

Visiting here has been such a great experience. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. The residents have been so nice as well and love to engage in conversation in the lobby. My relative said she has been enjoying her stay here and that the staff have been very kind to her. It’s so comforting to know she feels safe and welcome. When we first visited her, she hadn’t gone out much to meet the other residents but now she’s getting around and participating in events! It’s so nice to see activities for them. Very wonderful place and highly recommended. Careful parking because the lot is small and someone blocked us in and we couldn’t figure out whose car it was. I guess they don’t have an intercom system so just a heads up.

I visited this facility for a tour and I must say that Autumn made my experience so nice. She answered ALL my questions and put me at ease about my family member living there. I would hands down recommend this place to anyone based on my experience. Thanks AUTUMN! You are the best! Everything was clean, in order, and the rest of the staff followed suit as well!

We have been very very pleased with the excellent care my mother has received at Arbor Terrace. The administrative staff, the nurses and the ladies who attend her are just wonderful. She enjoys the food and she really likes the entertainment that they have brought in.We are so happy that she is happy and it was so be of the best Places that we looked at.

When looking for an assisted living facility for my mother, the whole staff at Arbor Terrace kept in contact the whole way through, managing expectations and never leaving me guessing what happens next or when. During the few months my mother has been a resident, its become apparent that she is well cared for and given so many opportunities to engage with the other residents and staff. I feel really good about her being in their hands. After all, peace of mind is an important aspect to family life - knowing your loved one will have the same level of care as when they were at home. Thank you Arbor Terrace for helping our family during this important time in our lives.

My Mom has lived at Arbor Terrace of East Cobb for the past 5 years. She has progressed from Assisted Living to Memory Care in these 5 years. The staff is very caring, kind and attentive to her needs. They provide a lot of fun and engaging activities that are tailored to the residents ability. The staff worked hard to keep my Mom in communication with me during Covid - phone calls, FaceTime and outdoor visits. When I text or email a staff member, they always respond very quickly. They truly strive to keep each resident engaged and happy. I would highly recommend Arbor Terrace of East Cobb for your aging parents, spouse or loved one.

My mother has been at Arbor for several years now. We are overall very pleased. They have always been responsive to our concerns. They keep me aware of any changes in her mood or condition. They always have her ready to go when she has outside doctor appts. The nurse in her heart doctors office just commented on how thorough they were in supplying written reports. I chose Arbor Terrace of East Cobb for many reasons but the top of my list was their willingness to accommodate my parents particular situation. Mom and Dad had been married 66 years and my Father was in his 11th year of Alzheimers and needing more care than I could provide. As I began the search for a facility, my healthy Mother insisted I not separate them and Arbor was willing to help in keeping them together. After the required assessment of my Dad, they lived happily together in the same apartment for nearly two years. Unfortunately, my Dad has since passed which Arbor handled professionally and with much compassion. My Mother, still in good health, enjoys Arbor and their staff so much, she has insisted on staying in her and Dads apartment. I would recommend Arbor Terrace of East Cobb as I have enjoyed the friendly staff, the quality of care, and the respect my parents were given and my Mother continues to enjoy today.

Arbor Terrace at East Cobb takes amazing care our loved one. She knows shes well cared for and expresses her appreciation often for the caregivers, always talking about how kind the staff is to her, and how good the food is. The staff made it so much easier on us, its always a hard decision to move onto a higher level of care, and they were there for us and our loved one every step. Arbor Terrace is taking wonderful, attentive care of my dad. Since day one, he has felt welcomed and respected. I couldnt ask for better care for him. The staff is readily available when I have questions or concerns and are quick to help out. He needs some nudging to join activities but enjoys them when hes there especially happy hour with live performances. His favorite part of the building is the patio, which he visits several times a day. Nice sized with pretty landscaping. Arbor Terrace was the only place we visited when looking for assisted living places for him. It felt like home to him from the get go!!

My wife has been a memory care resident for almost two years. The staff have been genuinely kind to her, and very supportive of me. When I was no longer able to care for her at home, I moved her here. It was a painful time, but the staff from the front office to the memory care unit helped me make the transition. And now, during this covid crisis, they have done a masterful job of keeping the virus away.

I have been partnering with Arbor Terrace of East Cobb for more than 7 years now. In my 28 years of experience this senior living community stands out because of its warm and kind care. From management on down all staff goes far above job duties to provide a loving home atmosphere.When my mother required respite care following surgery I selected Arbor Terrace of East Cobb for her stay. The care coordination was great, the rooms are well maintained and clean and the food quality and choices left nothing to be desired. During this past year I was impressed with the safety measures that were implemented quickly to keep residents and staff safe and healthy and I am proud to work with this community.

We moved my mother in law who has Dementia here from an Independent Living Facility in Florida and I'm so happy we did it. We looked at several places and one of the reasons we moved her here was when we were taking a tour, Caroline the Executive Director knew everyones name and addressed them as we were walking through. No other community did that. Carrie the Senior Care Counselor always makes it a point to stop and talk with her. Susan the Engagement Director is always looking for new and fun things for the residents of the community and takes the time to get to know each resident.
