Courteous, and informative staff. They assist my mother and other residents with care and compassion.
July 2026
All the customer service the CNAs the RN’s even the kitchen crew are so helpful and the place is always nice and clean. It’s a nursing home so you can’t always get the great smell every day but the major of the time I walk through the building, it smells great.
July 2026
Staff was friendly, caring, understanding and proactive. My mom just moved in and is struggling with the change of environment. She has Alzheimer’s and change is always difficult for her. The staff has checked on her several times, me to let me know how she is doing when I am not there, and put a plan in place to try and make her transition as easy as possible. I appreciate all of the follow-up, follow thru and compassion they have provided to my mom and to me. I made the right decision brining her here Shout out to the nurses and CNA’s in the South wing, the head of nursing, Belinda, the admissions concierge, Davia, Director of Rehab, Leo Ward, the activities director, Shanice, Rosalind in the front office as well as the receptionist, her speech therapist, Sarah, the social workers, and everyone else we have come in contact with!
July 2026

Our family is so happy to have found Davia at the Marietta Center. She gave us a thorough tour and helped us feel good about trusting the center to get our mother through this difficult time of healing. We visited several other options but ultimately she was the deciding factor for our decision.
March 2026
I want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing CNA team at Marietta Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Ishka Jackson is an incredible team lead. She is extremely reliable and is always looking for ways to improve, which truly says a lot about her character and dedication to the facility. Diamond Freeman is also wonderful and very dependable. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and ensures the residents she is assigned to receive top quality care. Thank you both for everything you do!

March 2026
Ishka Jackson, Juanita Hightower, & Diamond Freeman was very helpful on the east wing. I really appreciated their help, they are nothing less than amazing!
March 2026
During the training session, both CNA team members, Ishka and Diamond, demonstrated a strong willingness to learn and actively participated throughout the process. They showed good understanding of patient care fundamentals, including safety protocols, communication, and daily living assistance. Ishka displayed attentiveness and consistency in following instructions, while Diamond stood out with her initiative and ability to engage confidently with residents. Both individuals maintained professionalism and a compassionate approach, which is essential in a nursing home environment. Overall, they are progressing well and have the potential to be reliable, effective CNAs with continued hands-on experience and guidance.

All the nurses were very helpful. They got my dad situated quickly.
March 2026
I’m currently staying at Marietta Center for Nursing and Healing, and I truly enjoy my time here. The staff is consistently kind, respectful, attentive, and always willing to help, which makes a big difference day to day. The food has been great, and the level of care I’m receiving is excellent. I especially want to recognize Kevin Colas, who has been my CNA during my stay. He is absolutely outstanding always attentive and quick to respond whenever I use my call light. He goes above and beyond every day, and his compassion and professionalism really stand out. He’s truly one of the best team members here. I’m very grateful for the care I’m receiving and would definitely recommend this facility to others.
March 2026
My mother, Amanda DiResta stayed here from January 19 to March 9th. Pros: Sarah, Merrell and Nurse Raquel were very friendly and professional- Nurse Raquel definitely deserves a promotion or raise - she is an amazing nurse and fully cares for every one of her patients- she actually saved my mother’s life last Monday. She knew my mother was not acting like herself so she called an ambulance. When she got to Kennestone Hospital, they confirmed that she suffered from a seizure and a UTI. Cons: Unfortunately, my mother is currently in the same state she was when she first got to this place back in January. The physical therapy team did absolutely nothing to help her. She currently can’t walk, stand up, sit up, feed herself, toilet on her own, bathe herself, etc. She is COMPLETELY dependent on people. This is why we had to hire a home health care agency to provide 24/7 care to our mother at St Anne’s Terrace where she currently resides. Leo, the director of physical therapy, promised my sister and I that he and his team would do everything they can to rehabilitate my mother. I tried contacting him several times before she was discharged to talk to him about all of this and he simply ignored me. My mother was really sick when she came to the rehab center and it only got worse. She was constantly afraid and anxious. She was left in her room all alone for most of her time there. She lost a ton of weight because they did not try and feed her. We found out from Kennestone Hospital that she has pressure wounds on her buttocks. A nurse at the hospital confirmed to us that those wounds are a sign of negligence/abuse. We are currently in the process of contacting an attorney about the abuse. Please don’t send your loved ones to this facility. They deserve way better than what my mother received. No one should be forced to deal with abuse and neglect. I trusted everyone at this facility to take care of my mother. On another note, Justine, mom’s social services advocate, was always completely unorganized and could never handle her job. I was suppose to have paperwork filled out and signed to give to State Farm for my mom’s long term care; that was never done. It was due 2 weeks ago. She also had no knowledge about my mother’s belongings were when I came to pick them up. Her room was completely cleared out like she was never there. It took another person almost 45 minutes to locate her things
March 2026
Overall, I am satisfied with the care my loved one is receiving. Special thanks goes to the new kitchen manager, Delford, for the improved food. The recreation department provides beautiful decor for the residents to enjoy. The staff is helpful and listens to my concerns. The building is nice and clean with hard-surfaced floors instead of unhealthy carpet.
March 2026
My sister is a patient in the rehab portion. Her first night was awful and she received no attention even after her call light. The next day after reporting the lady tht was suppose to have been helping her the problem was solved by the head of the nursing staff. A very nice caring man. After my sister got thru the first night evythg has been much better. The staff has been friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and there is no smell in the hallways like most of the rehab centers. So dont go by what it looks like on the outside!! The phy therapy part is very good. The mattresses looked hard. Overall, this place is the nicest one i have ever visited. Therefore i gave it 4 stars.

February 2026
This 5 star rating is for one of the CNA’s that deserves employee of the DECADE, if there was such a title. Her name is Tameka Davis. She’s been caring for my mom for a few years now and she is nothing short of AMAZING! A CNA’s job isn’t glorious and it isn’t easy. However, Tameka has CONSISTENTLY done a superb job with how she cares for the residents. She works tirelessly to ensure that the residents are taken care of. This world would be a better place with a few more like her in it. Tameka THANK YOU for all that you do!

I’m writing to express how appreciated I am to have my mom in this facility. She has been in here for just over a year and every time I’m there it is this ray of sunshine name Alexis in the halls with the biggest and brightest smile and she is greeting everyone she comes in contact with. Being on this earth 50+ years its hard to get people to even make eye contact. My mom is the most important person in my life and it hurt me to have to put her in here but with a person like Alexis working here I hope she never leaves and will always know my mother is in great hands. Yall keep up the great work yall do.
February 2026
I want to express my gratitude to Alexis King she helped my wife and I for two days straight with patience and grace to get my mother in law to a very important appointment . When she was called down to the South Unit by Murrell she came right away and from the moment she introduced herself to us all she assured us not to worry and she will get my mother in law transpiration to her upcoming appointment which is this Monday. I was little afraid that her and my wife wasn't going to see eye to eye because my wife is use to taking over and doing everything but Alexis win this battle. that's impressive. Thank you Alexis.
January 2026

Monique is the best.
January 2026
Monique was very welcoming. I’m a student she helped me how to remember medication name. Rayne let me shadow with her. She’s also wonderful.
January 2026
So, this is not the prettiest of facilities. I was concerned when we arrived. However, the care, kindness and compassion that my mother received here went well above my expectations. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing rehab!!
January 2026
Staff was absolutely fantastic. Accommodating, pleasant, reachable, etc. That being said, their frustration is visible in the quality of the company and what they have to work with. My mother was there for one week for rehab and we experienced the following: - the nurse call button did not work for the first 24 hours she was there - the most critical time for her post-hospital release. - while most of her meds arrived within 48 hours, her pain killers did not arrive for a week and she was in severe pain. - her room did not have any hot water. As a result, despite asking repeatedly, she did not receive an actual shower for well over a week. And this was after 10 days in the hospital with only sponge baths. - her TV remote did not work and was not fixed for a week, so the TV was stuck on one channel the whole time and she was unable to turn it on and off. - the shifts alternated between short staffed and overstaffed, and we were told they had just switched to a new scheduling vendor and everything was messed up. - the food was terrible, and when we addressed it with the staff were told that they knew and encouraged us to bring her outside food. So we had to grocery shop for her. - she is a chemo patient, and watched patients use equipment while she was in PT, then leave, then new patients brought to the equipment without cleaning in between. - while she was in the updated part of the facility, you have to walk through the part that had not yet been updated, and the level of disrepair is stunning. I know they are currently renovating, but it is surprising and concerning that they let it get to that point in the first place. I have given this three stars only because of the kindness and quality of all of the staff. They were all above and beyond, and can only work with what they are provided. If not for the staff, this place would get one star.

Great care is given
December 2025
I entered the Marietta Center for nursing and healing on December 5, 2025. I didn’t know what to expect, but the first thing I observed upon arriving was the cleanliness of the place. I was totally blown away. The next thing that took me by surprise was the caring nature of the staff members. They treated me as if they knew me all of our lives. I was so impressed. Another thing that caught my attention was the quality of care and knowledge displayed by the rehab staff. They were on point every time and All of my questions were answered no matter how simple it was. If I had to rate this facility, I would give it an A+.
December 2025
This Paulding office has been the best for me! I use to travel over 45 minutes to the Marietta office originally suggested by ins company. Then i found out about this location only 8 minutes away. Sooo glad i switched ! Not only is it much closer, i learned how to manage my daily eye symptom much better!!!!! So thankful for the staff too, Always patient and pleasant...
December 2025
My Mother was extremely upset with the thought of having to go to this rehab facility, however after arriving she fell in love with the place. Loves the staff and rehab staff and talked about them everyday. The food on the other hand is not to write home about. My mother had to be transferred back to the hospital for a minor cardio issue and was very upset she had to leave. If it wasn’t for the food I would have no issue at all giving a 5+ rating.

Again, Alanah was such a wonderful asset to our experience. From beginning to end she made it flawless and smooth.

Families and their loved ones are encouraged to do the following before deciding on a community.
- Schedule a tour and visit the physical location to make sure community description is accurate.
- Confirm with community manager that living and services required for you or your loved one's unique needs and budget are met.
- Check with state government websites for additional provider licensing and information.
If there is any information that is inaccurate or needs to be updated, please contact Assisted Living Center.
Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
