My brother Joe, who recently passed, was a resident at Amelia Gardens Personal Care for over 9 years. He came to Amelia Gardens after having a severe stroke and being under Hospice care. After a few months, his health improved enough that he came off of Hospice care. I appreciate the excellent care and attention that Nick & Joy, with their staff, provided my brother. It was their care that allowed my brother to thrive and stay healthy over these past 9 years. I feel extremely grateful that we found Amelia Gardens as a great place for my brother.

My son suffered a traumatic brain injury and has been difficult to manage only due to the injury. He had been to several care facilities but none of them were able to manage his condition. It wasn’t until I found Amelia Care Gardens that he has been stabilized. He can still be difficult, but they have the knowledge, experience, and passion needed to care for my son. Honestly, I don’t know what I would do without them. My son has been there for 3 years, and I am very grateful and satisfied with their services and support.

Ms. Joy and her husband Mr. Nic are the most beautiful people inside and out and their staff at Amelia Gardens (Ms. Christy being an Angel among other Angels at Amelia Gardens) have Hearts of Gold and are the most caring and sweet people I have met in the 2 years I have been a POA for Mr. Hudgins. When Ms. Joy said "Yes" to my urgent, emergency and utmost frantic call on a Friday at 5 p.m. for a place for Mr. Aubrey it was a huge burden lifted of my shoulder when I went and met them in person. Ms. Joy was as delightful in person as she was over the phone. Ms. Joy went over-and-above to accommodate my short-noticed request for a place. Mr. Hudgens, in my opinion, has come "Home" and is in expert hands and care. I do not worry about him being neglected. Amelia Gardens would get "100 STARS" if I could rate them myself. I thank Ms. Joy and Ms. Christy and the other lovely Ladies at Amelia Gardens for their professionalism, their caring and their huge hearts. I thank them from the bottom and top of my heart. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Their facility and care for the residents are UNPARALLELED.

I am a professional in this industry I own a personal care home as well as do Elder consulting and the one thing to look at when advising clients is the attention to detail with regards to Care ratios as well as cleanliness! Joy the owner is essentially who you’re buying... her ability to communicate effectively I think is a value in itself I feel that the large communities at times can be difficult from a communication perspective because there are so many different levels and staff changes!
