Gaines Park Senior Living is a blessing! We needed to find a different facility for my mom quickly as I did not want her to stay at the facility she was at. From the moment I walked in to Gaines Park, I knew it was going to be the right place for my mom. My expectations were high and I wanted a place that felt like home, where I knew she would be watched over and be safe. I wanted her caregivers to not only keep her clean and healthy, but also to know her as a person and care for her specific needs, even when dementia is hard. Gaines Park provided all of that and so much more. My family became a part of the Gaines Park family. The caregivers have love and passion for what they do and the director met my needs and listened to me when I needed her. Although my mom has passed, I still miss my Gaines Park family and I cannot thank them enough for all they did for my mom and my family. They will always hold a special place in my heart.

Gaines Park is exceptional! All of the staff members are always welcoming and greet you with a smile. It has a very comfortable home like atmosphere. For over two and a half years of visiting frequently (different days / different times) I truly could not ask for a better place for my loved one! House keeping is awesome! His room and bathroom is always clean, trash is collected, bed is made, floors swept and vacuumed. Laundry kept up. The kitchen staff is wonderful. They provide three well planned meals a day, which are nutritious and delicious (which I have enjoyed many time myself). Whenever there is something served that he does not like they are quick to provide a substitute. They truly care that the residents enjoy their meals. The activities Director is fabulous. She has daily activities (games, arts and craft’s, trivia etc) and scheduled monthly outings. She is always going around and encouraging the residents to participate. The Wellness Director and staff are exceptionally. She works very hard with the residents and their doctors to make sure that the residents medical records are up to date and that his daily medications are correct and administered properly. Finally, Bonnie the Executive Director, is absolutely wonderful. She is always working hard to make sure that the families are kept informed. She is constantly working to schedule meetings with vendors that can help to educate and provide useful information for the care and services for the elderly. She is very knowledgeable in this industry. Again, I could not ask for a better place for my loved one! He is, and has always been treated with the upmost respect and care.

A kind stranger”now an angel in my eyes”recommended Gaines Park, and I’m deeply grateful we found this exceptional community. From the moment I stepped inside, Gaines Park felt different. The warm, cozy atmosphere and sense of calm immediately put me at ease. Meeting the senior staff confirmed my instincts: they were genuine caregivers with a clear, compassionate plan for my mother’s care. Their thoughtful approach and personal dedication to their work assured me this was her new home. The staff’s longevity speaks volumes about Gaines Park’s leadership and quality of care. Many caregivers have been here for over 20 years, a stark contrast to the high turnover at our previous facility, where well-meaning but inexperienced staff struggled to connect with residents. At Gaines Park, the caregivers are empathetic, naturally gifted professionals who truly understand their residents’ needs. The memory care unit’s size and high staff-to-resident ratio allow for personalized, hands-on care. Residents are gently encouraged to engage in the common area rather than staying isolated in their rooms. A unique touch is the individual recliners in the common area”my mother loves hers! Gaines Park has been a saving grace for myself and my parents. My father was there twice in the last two years. He passed away 4 months ago while being given the best care possible. The Ennoble staff and the Gaines Park staff were wonderful during his stay and his passing. They showed true compassion to my family during those tough times. My mom is now a resident with dementia symptoms. The staff has been so kind and considerate with her while she gets used to her new environment. It’s so hard to be a caregiver and it takes a very special person to work in these environments. I could start listing the names of all the kind staff but would not have enough room. Sure there are times when things don’t go as planned when working in a high stress environment. There are so many elderly with so many different needs, it is hard to give each one personal care. The staff members work long hours and do the best they can while dealing with so many people. The above is my experience and I am there often. Bonnie has been the best. What a tough job she has to keep the residents AND staff happy and safe. I truly believe Gaines Park is one of the best facilities for the elderly. Is everything 100% perfect as we would like for our loved ones? No, but it’s the best environment I’ve encountered with my loved ones on my journey.

Gaines Park is HOME! Watching our parents age I believe is the most difficult season yet. After caring for my mom personally for 10 years, I NEVER dreamed she would adapt or settle well anywhere. Along with her physical aging challenges she has a language barrier as well. NOTHING frightened Gaines Park, they stepped in and made her feel welcomed and LOVED. They are kind and conscientious of her specific needs, (bp checks, chopped food requirements and even lay her clothes out and make sure her tv is on her favorite channels) Way above and beyond. We have only been with Gaines Park for 3 months and my mom is doing exercises everyday, going on field trips, "playing bingo", with the tender assistance of staff or volunteers of course, but she is HAPPY! At 88 it's the simple pleasures that make her smile, and as her daughter and the person that loves her most in this world, I say THANK YOU!! Keep up the GREAT work! There is a right place somewhere for everyone, Thank you God for bringing us to Gaines Park's front door, my mom is HOME!

I would like to share our experience at Gaines Park. It is the best of both worlds. My mother came to Gaines Park in May, 2024. She had been living with my family and had multiple falls. The last fall left her unaware of who she was. Three months in Memory Care and she improved and has transitioned to Assisted Living. I owe this to the excellent care she received in the Memory Care unit. Since the transition, which I say was seamless, she has only improved. She enjoys the daily activities and planned field trips. The Executive Director and staff have many years of valuable experience. Gaines Park has created an opportunity for a new relationship for my mother and I. I became her daughter again and not her caregiver. This has allowed us to enjoy our time together. The best of both worlds.

Our experience at Gaines Park Senior living has been absolutely wonderful. My husband has Parkinson’s disease and dementia. We placed him in memory care and he has received the very best of care. The people are friendly, loving, And extremely adapt in their positions.The food is wonderful! (I have tasted its deliciousness). It seems to me that everyone there has his best interest at heart. This gives me great relief as there is no possible way I could take care of him myself at home. They have therapy and activities for the seniors every day. This makes the residence happy and engaged. there are also several gardens scattered about which the residents really enjoy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who cares about their spouse or loved one Having peace and love in their life towards it end.. I get so upset with some of these negative reviews. Gaines Park has been nothing but a caring, loving and a respectful home for my mom for the past three years. All these larger assisted living facilities that show pretty don't always mean better care. Believe me, we've went that route. The director and the entire staff have shown my mom patience, care, love and understanding. They have been so gracious to my mom and our entire family. There is nothing lacking - or true about any of these keyboard warriors reviews other than them not reaching out directly to the director if they have an issue. Hiding behind the keyboard and bashing a facility is just wrong. We wouldn't have our mom anyplace else. Thank You to you all for your compassion and grace.

What a wonderful community! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and caring staff. The Executive Director, department heads and front line staff truly care for the seniors of this community. I spoke with several employees who had been there for several years and seemed very happy to be there. I had lunch with 4 ladies who were residents who told me they were very happy here and were able to make many new friends. For a vibrant and positive experience, come to Gaines Park!

My grandmother moved in last February and next week my uncle is moving in. We have had the best experience at Gaines Park. Navigating care for our senior family members is overwhelming and emotional and I can’t say enough about how great the staff has been in guiding us through the process. They are great with the patients and always so friendly. I’m so grateful that we found Gaines Park and for the way they have cared for my family.

Hello, Since the new company took over management (Veritas), they have been in a big "transition" phase. The folks I have spoken to have nothing but wonderful things to say about the new management! By the way: the name of the company, "VERITAS", is Latin for Truth. The owner is a very devout Christian man and is very honest and caring when it comes to resident well-being! The Executive Director is also a very devout, Christian lady and always goes the extra mile to care for resident needs; not to mention that she is a seasoned Veteran with 40 years experience in the field. Her staff is top-notch, except for some "bad apples" that have been removed. Any of the "disparaging" comments on Google Reviews more than likely came from them; along with a few folks who can never be pleased. That's another story for another day; we all know that type! If you're truly looking for a caring, professional community, without the glitz and glamour, Gaines Park would be an excellent choice. And I know this may be hard to believe, but I NEVER LIE! That is the Lord's Truth! Be well.

I have nothing but great things to say about Gaines Park! The staff is easily approachable and helpful with any concerns there maybe. To top it off whatever the issue is a solution is acted on immediately. Most importantly they are there for the residents 100%. The food is delicious and there are a variety of activities for the residents to participate in. I was concerned about my mothers transfer from a skilled nursing facility to assisted living. She is THRIVING!

When my mom couldn’t remain in her home by herself anymore we were blessed to find a place for her at Gaines Park. Lots of love and care from the staff. Mom is enjoying her new home.

I am disheartened with some of the negative reviews. Mom has been living at Gaines park for a year and although no place is perfect this place is very close to it. Prior to coming to GP mom lived in another facility. It had all the bells and whistles when you walked in the door but after the honeymoon phase the care was terrible. Mom spent several weeks in hospitals due to the neglect of that facility. We were told when she was in rehab that she would die within a short period of time. We removed mom from that place and found GP and with hospice care and the wonderful loving team at Gaines today mom is thriving. Gaines might not have all those bells and whistles but I’d rather have the compassionate caring family like staff taking care of her. Every time I visit mom I am greeted with hugs from staff members who know my name. They love mom and I thank God every day for them. Please consider my review and not the angry negative ones.

If you’re looking for a place for your loved one, look no further! This facility is amazing! SO many improvements in the last year!!! The food is great, the staff is extremely friendly. There are a ton of activities for the residents and the managers live on site and are always available!
