No assisted living facility is perfect, but Canterfield comes close. I especially like the access that relatives or spouses of residents have with the executive leadership of Canterfield of Kennesaw. When there is a problem, action is taken immediately. The staff is amazingly caring and observant.

We are a home care company that provides care to some of Canterfield of Kennesaw’s residents. As the owner of this company, I highly recommend this beautiful community because of 3 reasons. First is the longevity of the leadership team. Where in other places there are always changes with the leadership team, this community’s main leadership team remain the same since the day it was open. This allows them to build deeper relationships with the residents and their families, and other staff members. Second is the location. It is strategically located within driving distance to Marietta, Kennesaw, Woodstock and Canton. Third is their commitment to provide the best care and services to help not only the residents, but also the residents family members.

My parents moved in 2 months ago. Stephanie has been a constant help with their's and others needs. She is always available and helpful.

The facility is less than 18 months old, therefore very modern and clean. The staff is friendly, caring and helpful. There are lots of activities for the residents.

My mom has been living at Canterfield of Kennesaws memory care unit for almost a year now, and I have loved the attentiveness and care that the staff provides for her. I looked at several retirement communities before my gut told me that Canterfield was the one. As soon as you walk in, its bright, well attended, theres activity going on, and overall its just welcoming.

We researched Canterfield of Kennesaw for about one year (made numerous visits) so when my mom decided she was ready to move, the decision was easy. Within four days of her moving in, she called me and told me she feels like shes home. Mike, Stephanie and the rest of the staff are great and very caring. Since my mom has moved in, my stress level has been reduced because Im not worrying about her living alone anymore. I highly recommend Canterfield of Kennesaw.

Canterfield of Kennesaw is not only a beautiful, welcoming facility but I have NEVER seen any care takers and employees with a more positive attitude. Ive been to many nursing homes, senior living and assisted living places but everyone there seems genuinely happy to be there which makes a HUGE different to those living there and their families. My father was at another place before and he couldnt wait to leave and we hated visiting there because it was dark, unfriendly, etc. At Canterfield, its a pleasure to have my dad there and happy and take my kids and puppy to visit. Everyone is SO NICE from the front desk, care staff and dining room employees! I simply cant say enough.

My father has been at Canterfield less than a full month but I cant tell you how positive and kind everyone is. Weve had loved ones at other places and NONE of them had so many employees that looked happy to do their job. It makes a HUGE difference to the people living there and their families. Thank you to Canterfield of Kennesaw for making this last month and a half with my dad in and out of there, hospital and rehab a bit less painful. Looking forward to my dad enjoying more time there!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my mother, and for reassuring my father every time he visits. All of the nurses are supportive of both my mother and the family dealing with her Alzheimers. I rest easier at night, knowing that such empathetic people are caring for my beloved mother.

My dad has been here since the day after they officially opened. I can you, this is the finest bunch of caregivers I have ever come across. He is 92 and is extremely happy here. Very well taken care of, very attentive staff, from the bottom to the top!! Thank you so much for all you do!!!
