I called The Bentley to schedule a tour..I left a message to the Coordinator & she returned my call promptly! I spoke to another staff member to set up the time & she was very, polite and professional!! I CANNOT BELIEVE THESE COMMENTS THO..MY GOSH..I remember the incident from the news but I have NO hesitation to not still tour & pray my mother becomes a resident!! Over & over Bentley's spokesperson explained these 3 former employees were terminated..their background checks were good..they had only been there a short time AND the facility did everything to retrain & address cell phone usage..etc..etc..HOW CAN ANYONE TRY TO TARNISH A PLACE BECAUSE OF 3 EVIL PPL..THE THREE DID NOT REPRESENT THE MISSION & CORE MORAL & VALUES OF THIS FACILTY..AND ONE COMMENT SAID HE MADE "ONE" CALL & BECAUSE HE "FELT" THE PERSON WAS RUDE...GAVE A BAD REVIEW!!! HOW CHILDISH!! HE DIDN'T EVEN GIVE THEM A CHANCE..PROBABLY BECAUSE HE WASN'T REALLY SERIOUS!! SMH..So very unfair to try & scar any business because of bad apples..and in this case; fooled the whole hiring process! Bentley acted immediately & appropriately!! This incident could happen to anyone..And if you allow these 'distorted opinions' to sway you from touring the place..then you're weak minded!!! Look at the facts!!!! I will be touring the facility and I love my mom to pieces..They came highly recommended..It looks from the pics to be a beautiful place...And again..I saw the news reports but NO ONE should place blame on the administration and/or the integrity of their staff by actions of new employees that clearly were evil..but again; their criminal checks were clean..they were properly trained..etc..etc..There's so many sick ppl in this world..Now these 3 have been exposed & probably flipping burgers that you eat once a week...How's that for a thought!!! Nuff said?? I look so forward to meeting you all at the Bentley Senior Living Home!! Blessings ? Alene

There is no way I can say enough nice things about the folks at Bentley. The facility is lovely, but it is the staff that make Bentley the unique place it is. They are professional, experienced, and (best of all) genuinely kind. My 92-year-old mother lived there during the last year of her life (she moved from a very new, very expensive, and pretty atrocious facility just outside of Athens where she most decidedly was not thiving), and the care she received in Bentley's Memory Care wing was absolutely first-rate. This summer she went into hospice and passed away at Bentley, and then too the whole staff and administration made a wrenching time far less difficult than it would have been had it not been for the staff's and administration's professionalism as well as their kindness and care. (Executive director Cindy Archer and Memory Care wing nurse Cathy Weldon, in particular, went *far* above and beyond what their jobs required; their compassion and generosity of spirit was truly humbling and overwhelming.) Suffice it to say that I recommend Bentley, with enthusiasm and deep gratitude, to anyone who loves their parents and wants them to receive exceptional care.

Amazing community - if you want a truly family feel to a senior living community for yourself living in the Independent Living portion of the community, great services and healthcare delivered in the assisted living, or specialized programming and personal care services in the memory care program for persons with Alzheimers or other forms of dementia - look no further! Amazing people, great food, great fun and programs! I cannot day enough - my mom was so happy to move here after a short stay in a nursing home for physical therapy and rehab services which continued and were even better here at Bentley!

My Grandmother has been at Bentley Assisted Living for 4 months. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. All of the staff-from administrative to medical to housekeeping have been nothing short of excellent. The staff are always so engaged with the residents and the residents are happy. If we have had any needs or concerns, they have been immediately addressed and resolved. My Grandmother resides on Rose Lane-the Memory Care unit. It is a locked unit and I feel secure that she is well-cared for and safe. The food is excellent, and the residents seem to really enjoy the southern-style cooking. The staff makes sure to make the residents feel special. On birthdays, they sing and I've witnessed them make special ice cream sundaes and even bring in balloons. The activity staff is great and does a great job of helping the residents participate in crafts, and also polish their nails when they want. The on site hair salon is nice, and does a wonderful job. I visited quite a few different facilities prior to placing my Grandmother here, and the rooms at Bentley are spacious. If you are interested in Assisted Living, I highly recommend Bentley. We have NO complaints!

If you are looking for an assisted living for your loved one - this place is one that you have to check out. Both my mother and my uncle have been blessed to be residents at Bentley Assisted Living at Northminster, and we couldn't be happier. The variety of programs available to them both has been fantastic, it feels like a cruise ship that you don't have to leave port! The food that Nelson creates is wonderful, and even the Brain Healthy Cuisine with a southern flair is something that I enjoy when I visit (not to mention it has helped regulate my mom's blood pressure without medication). Amazing care, friendly staff that truly make you feel like family - this is an amazing place - if I could give 10 stars I would!
