My grandmother can be hard to handle at times but the staff at Windsor are SO patient with her and she made friends instantly. My kids love going to see her bc everyone is so friendly.

After a lot of searching, we are happy to call Windsor Lodge home for our mom. She fell in love with the place and the people immediately! We looked at other facilities, but we could see and feel the quality difference as soon as we were greeted at the door. This family run business makes each resident feel loved and secure. I honestly could not be happier and feel so good knowing our mom is somewhere that people know how to give her the assistance she needs at this stage in life. They are truly partners with us. No Better Place for Senior Care! In September of 2018, our dad, Ken Saunders, became the first resident of Windsor Lodge Assisted Living Facility (later to become The Retreat at Jasper). From the moment that we arrived that day, the staff was welcoming and friendly. He even got his first round of applause as he entered the front door. Me being me, I was a little nervous allowing someone else to care for him. Boy, was I wrong as they treated him like their own father, loving and caring. Our dad passed, while still in their loving care, this past Sunday, one week before Fathers Day. Although he finally transitioned from assisted living to memory care, he always expressed the same sentiment: I like it here. They are really nice to me. Nice doesnt begin to describe the loving care that he received. The activities that he enjoyed included bingo, crafts, discussion groups (current events, show & tell, etc.), shopping trips, trips to restaurants, even trips to view Christmas lights and more. He especially enjoyed the weekly happy hour where the activities coordinator would bring in live entertainment. Snacks and beverages were provided and let me tell you, dad enjoyed his happy hour wine each Friday. You could always hear his foghorn singing voice joining in with the entertainment. Every time we visited, which was often he would tell us the same thing I really like it here: which set our minds at ease with our decision. On the serious side, the staff showed wonderful patience in helping him with ordinary daily activities. These included cleaning up in the morning, getting dressed, getting changed (when it later became necessary), getting ready for bed and administering his medications throughout the day . Eventually they had to help him with all transitioning, as he became unable to walk. They did so willingly and lovingly. In the end, after his spirit had left this earth, they even cleaned him up and loving dressed him (in his Hawaiian shirt at our request) before his final ride to the funeral home. Phoenixs staff is dedicated, hard-working and loving. Youll love them all…including Bonnie, Brittany, Alisha and Amber. There were too many kind and loving employees to mention here. If you need to place your folks into assisted living or memory care, you cant go wrong with The Retreat at Jasper. Your loved ones will be in great hands. They treated our dad like family. Im sure that they will with your loved ones too.

I am so very happy Mom is living at Windsor Lodge. All her needs are being met by many well qualified and loving staff members. Because of her severe joint pain she needs a lot of help getting up and down and moving about and someone is always there to assist. She has help 24 hours a day, seven days a week; something she could not receive at home. Interaction with other residents has been so enriching and so have the varied activities. Whether it be exercising, painting, antiquing, or making flower arrangements you are sure to see smiles all around. Sometimes William, the AMAZING activities director, drives them up on the mountain top to look at the view or just go out to get ice cream. Recently they took the bus to see the beautiful flowers at a nearby garden. With the help of some residents a putting green was built and many enjoy it daily. There is something for everybody from cornhole to walking or bingo to book club and puzzles. All these activities keep the residents involved and busy. It keeps Mom focused on having fun, not thinking about her aches and pains. Even though Mom is in a wheelchair adaptations are made to include her in everything. She was taught to putt and wii bowl from her chair. She was excited to make a hole in one the first time she tried! I enjoy the family events such as musicians, dinners, tree decorating and field trips. Recently I attended a dinner and afterwards a bagpiper entertained us! The awesome family who owns the home genuinely cares about the residents. They are there working in the community so they know and call each one by name. They dont stay in an office but instead mingle and talk with the residents and welcome input. Moms meds are monitored and administered so I dont have to worry. The PA is there each week if there are any concerns with changes in health. This is so very convenient not having to get out to see a doctor. The food is so good I find myself eating meals with Mom quite often, especially on spaghetti day. I even asked chief Jessica to make a couple dishes for me for Thanksgiving! I know this review is getting long so I wont elaborate on the hair stylist, manicurist, housekeeping, shower assist and oh, the magnificent fireplace, baby grand piano and lovely decor! Its all good and Mom is living a fulfilled life there. Thank you for building your home in Jasper, just an 8 minute drive from me. Thank you for enriching Moms life.

This past week, I toured the Retreat at Jasper on behalf of a family member. While the community was very impressive, what was more impressive was the Executive Director, Bonnie. Since this is all new to us and overwhelming, the fact that an Executive Director took the time to sit with us for an hour and a half to offer support and explain in detail the differences between different senior living options...again a very confusing process for someone new to all of this...was most impressive. Her expertise made me feel reassured and confident in the decision to have my family member live here. As we walked through the building, the staff were friendly and happy, and I even had many of the people that live there say hello to me. It just seemed like an upbeat place. I witnessed someone who lives there hug the staff and Executive Director, and it spoke volumes to me. Hoping my father in law can call this place home in the near future.

My MIL has been a resident there since their opening last September and I visit at LEAST once weekly, usually more. Great food, great care, great staff, facility is out-of-this world! Ive asked for my own apartment! Couldnt be more pleased with this choice for our loved one to spend her golden years....

The facilities are top notch, but more importantly, the loving staff caters to their residents every need. They are constantly participating in activities, going out to eat or just for sight seeing. A nurse practitioner checks them out every week and is on call for any medical issues that arise. Mother is happy here and we have peace of mind knowing that.

I am so thankful we chose this amazing place for our Mom. The facility is beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff is wonderful. They are so patient and kind to all the residents Our Mom has the best of care at Windsor Lodge and I cant imagine a better place for those needing this type of care

Our entire family is so happy to have Windsor Lodge as a place for our mom to live. She loves it and they take great care of her! It is good to know someone has their eye out for her and she is safe and happy. Such a blessing!
