When we brought our grandmother to live with us from Myrtle Beach and she had a hard time adjusting because she missed her home and senior center. We went on a search to find her another community of seniors for her daily activities. After visiting a few places we felt like we wouldn’t find one. Then we visited the Benton House and it was perfect. Everyone was welcoming, the facilities were clean, the activities were perfect and it became her new family. She loved their food and everyone there. She looked forward to going and they welcomed her with a smile. I would recommend the Benton House to everyone for their loved ones. Thank you for making her last days wonderful.

My mother needed to move from Florida to nearby me in Grayson. Lourdes helped me navigate this big change for my mother, and she and Christine connected all the dots for us as we figured out how to make it all work. They even lent me a bed to sleep on the first night when we arrived in the middle of the night due to a last minute change of plans so that my mother wouldn’t be alone. Talk about going above and beyond. Lourdes had a personalized care basket for my mother and keeps tabs on her to make sure she continues to be happy and healthy. I cannot thank them enough for all that is done for my mother. They don’t just talk, they follow through and demonstrate true care for their patients. Lourdes is a go-getter and is tenacious and doesn’t give up, no matter what the need is. I’m genuinely grateful.

My mom has been a resident at Benton House for six months. She has advanced stage dementia. The entire staff has been nothing short of amazing as has her care. She’s very well taken care of in all aspects of her life now which gives us such peace of mind. We know she’s safe and being treated with dignity and respect. The staff made the transition from her home to Benton a hard situation easier by the gentle and loving way in which they helped walk us through it. Lourdes came to the hospital to visit my mom two days prior to being discharged. She held our hand as she walked us through every step of the way from completing paperwork for the insurance company to escorting us to her room when we arrived for the first time. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences since being at Benton and would highly recommend it to anyone.

When you park here, stay. From tour to move Benton House Grayson treated us like family. Before even coming in person, the email and text messages received to set up a tour were so personable and professional. Touring with Lourdes was everything. She made sure to cover every detail. It was a very emotional time after losing a parent and finding a new home for my other parent. They were there every step of the way. Later meeting Christine and Charlene and seeing how genuine they were made everything feel right. Lourdes made the second visit so comforting, she was so loving with my loved one. So patient and kind, went out of her way to find a favorite beverage. So many extra steps just for a second tour. And when it came to move in time the transition was so smooth. The communication is so wonderful and I have seen such a change in a positive direction with my loved one. It is comforting, it feels like family. Their attention to detail and keeping themselves current on all topics that impact the lives of seniors is important to them and it shows in their desire to stay current through constant training. This feels like a family that you should join. And I am so glad we did!

The marketing director of Benton House of Grayson took her time with me to discuss different needs for my mom. She was very caring and knowledgeable about different resources. She gave me a tour of the community which was well staffed and cleaned. The director made a call to another community that could offer respite care immediately. I am so thankful for her help and guidance. I feel this community would have been a place for my mom; however, she has passed away. The director has called and reached out to me during this difficult time. I want to thank her for being so empathetic to my needs.

My father recently died after 92 years and married for 70+ years to my mother. We searched numerous places that were all very good choices. However, we all (siblings and spouses) fell in love with Benton House. We talked to many residents who all said they were extremely happy and the food is great. Two months after my Mom moved in, she says she is very happy and thankful that we put her there. (She has just gotten back from an outing to Longhorn Steakhouse, so that may have played a part too, Lol) Christine (the administrator) gave me her Personal cell number and Lourdes, the Business Development Director jumped thru many hoops to get her placed there so quickly. I can't thank them enough for making my Mom so happy!

Residents, caregivers, medical professionals, and friends all agree that Benton House is the best assisted living facility in the Grayson, Loganville, and Snellville areas. It is because of the genuine care, concern, and respect they consistently receive from the staff. Lourdes, the Sales Director, did not try to sell me on Benton House. She listened carefully and patiently addressed all of my concerns. She partnered with me to find the best solution for my mother, which made me feel that I was not alone and could rely on her for expert advice. If you are looking for an assisted living facility, I strongly recommend making Benton House your first stop. It will very probably be your last.

I just wanted to share my experience with Lourdes. I passed by the facility in the late evening. Sent a request for information and was sent a text by Lourdes that same evening ! It turned out that the facility would not work out for me unfortunately, however, she gave me some other referrals and was so very helpful and caring. I was able to find a home for my mom all thanks to her ! She truly went above and beyond !!

This place is wonderful! Management went out of their way to help my dad move here. With their guidance & hand holding, they gave me the tools, education needed to work with hospice, physical therapy, etc. so my dad could transition from bed ridden to "assisted living". Once there, he's mental attitude and eagerness to be social & assist "himself" blossomed. The staff was always friendly, kept his apt. clean and made him smile and laugh. I dropped in often early am, mid-day, and evenings, I was always happy with what I saw. It's worth mentioning I also made friends with many of the residents - they too seemed happy and felt safe.

I have ALL RAVE reviews about this place - management, staff, cleanliness, food and cheerful residents. Christine and Lourdes went well beyond any expectation I had of helping my dad move into their community which we all knew would benefit him physically and more importantly mentally. They gave me the guidance I needed to make it happen along with nurturing me as I had to learn about becoming, unexpectedly, the parent of a parent. Their goal is to "help" whether your parent ends up there or not. Fortunately, mine did. My dad could not have been happier once there. Please consider this place.

My Mother was in memory care at the Benton House for 4 years before she passed and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. The staff is compassionate, caring and friendly. This past year has certainly been a challenge, but they didn't skip a beat. Christine, the director kept families informed of all updates, and Sharlene and staff called anytime there was a change in Mom's status. My Dad has been there on the assisted living side the last 18 months and is very well taken care of. Lourdes, Fonda, Jenna, Denise, and Ed are all wonderful and so caring. I would definitely recommend the Benton House in Grayson.

My mother has lived at Benton House of Grayson for almost 4 years. These years have been so good for her—the friends, the activities, the personal care, and the “heart” of the whole place. I’ve gotten to know residents and staff and feel so blessed that they are now part of my life. Many of the staff were here when we first moved her in, which speaks volumes for the working environment and the staff morale. This past year has stretched the limits on everyone, but these caregivers are still smiling and caring. Christine has kept us (the families) connected and informed with frequent emails, phone calls, and pictures. My mother is one of the oldest residents and is now in memory care. The love and respect the caregivers have shown her has kept my heart happy even through this difficult year. Thank you so much, Benton House!! Our 88 year old uncle is in the memory care section of Benton House. He has been there for approximately a year and a half. From day one of his time there, the staff has been wonderful. The administration is very connected with the residents and hands on.They truly care about the residents and their families. The caregivers do an excellent job of making sure he is happy and safe each day. Our uncle has a good appetite and enjoys his meals so much, they have given him larger portions according to his appetite and eating habits. They are very attentive to each individual and their needs and wants. They have done a fantastic job of managing care and taking care of him during the Covid restrictions. We get reports and photos of him when we haven’t been able to visit in person due to the restrictions. We and he could not be happier with Benton House of Grayson.

I wanted to take the time to commend Christine for doing a great job as Executive Director and leading the staff. Sharlene, Jenna, and Lourdes have also been very helpful in answering questions and helping out with our mom. Christine is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done. I like the comfort to know that I can call on her at any time, and she is always willing to assist. If she sees an issue that is brought to her attention, she follows up on it and gets back to you with an answer/solution. I realize this is a tough job, especially in these tough times with Covid. My family feels like Christine makes it seem like they are a family, and we look for their support and guidance to give our mom the best possible care. But the staff at the BH has taken fantastic care of my mother in law. From the moment I walked into the Benton House of Grayson, I felt the loving energy and knew my Mother would be well taken care of. I have not been disappointed. The director is Christine and she runs a great facility. Jenna is in sales and greets you every time you walk in. Everyone is gracious and caring. Denise is at the front desk and coordinates everything. Sharlene is responsible for the medical part and she is on top of all things that come up. I can't say enough nice things and both Mom and I teared up as we moved out today. It's not BH's fault. If they had a Hoyer lift (My Mother can no longer stand or walk) we would be there today. I sure hope the owner's of the company know how great the staff is. And the food is also good. We will miss everyone. Debbie A.

My dad was resistant to any sort of assisted living arrangement and one of his fears was being so far away that we wouldn't visit. I explored and popped in for lunch at several facilities in our area that met our financial expectations and had been referred by members of dad's care team as possibilities. Benton House was the only facility dad visited and he fell in love with the director, the staff, the community, and the facility on the very first visit. Initially, he felt that he was "just going to give it a try" and within just a few weeks, felt this was where he sincerely wanted to be at this point in his life. Dad's diagnosis of Parkinson's bewildered us at first and watching him decline during our year of care of him was disheartening. Since moving into the Benton House in Grayson, his health has drastically improved and we believe this is due in large part to the fact that he is incredibly happy. He has made new friends, eats great food (the new director heard those earlier complaints of less-than-inspired offerings), gets his medicine on time and overall, is thriving in this environment. His doctors are pleased, we're thrilled, and Dad is happy to be a Grayson resident in his apartment at Benton House. As a family, we are relieved, thankful, and just so, so, so blessed to have Christine, Sharlene, and the whole BH staff as our partners in this adventure.
