Toured for a friend, Daphne Veitch showed me everything that it was possible to see. She was wonderful, she was organized and exceptionally knowledgeable. I appreciated her enthusiasm and genuine caring for the residents of the facility.

I am a resident. I have been here over a year. It has been the most wonderful thing for me. They have a legacy office here that provides physical and occupational therapy. I have lost over 40 pounds and am involved in a lot of activities. I love that we ate so close to the mountains and lake Lanier. The perfect vacation spot or perfect retirement. The best thing is the wonderful people.

I help with guests at several other assisted living homes in Gainesville. The guests at Smoky Springs seem to be way more active and part up more with activities because they are made to be enjoyable. They are more outgoing and energetic it seems. Overall I believe that the staff at Smoky Springs generate all his additional energy and willingness to participate. 100% and Five Stars is my rating for the facility.

Absolutely one of my most favorite places to refer clients seeking a senior independent living setting! Cathy, the manager, has been here for years and it shows as she runs Smoky smoothly and cares about seniors thriving here. Sue has been activity director here for over 17 years, and her busy calendar of events exceeds other communities by far. I eat here when opportunity allows as the food is very good, and I am a big fan of how this community offers independent apartments but with the added convenience of 3 good meals a day and utilities, maintenance, and weekly housekeeping included in rent too. Brissa, who has been the receptionist here for years has moved into the sales role and she will rock that position because she knows and loves Smoky, and her kind, professional manner will serve enquiring seniors perfectly! If you are looking for Senior Independent living, you need to tour and consider Smoky Springs.

Great staff that are active with the tenants and put on events a games. Ive been here a few times over the years and have seen tenants playing music and playing badminton and it is very festive around the holidays. I feel as if the staff truly care about the happiness of the tenants

My mother in law lives there. The staff are awesome! The food is excellent. The accommodations are very nice. Convenient to most Gainesville places of interest. Nice.
