A clean caring environment…. The executive director and his staff were very helpful in helping us make a difficult decision.

My mother has been a resident in Brighton Gardens since May 2021. The BG staff has been consistently professional and compassionate as they have continued to care for her. Recently my mother experienced a fall in her room which required surgery. Upon her return to BG the director and staff were extremely helpful in providing my mother with the additional services needed to help her adjust to her changing daily needs. Our family is thankful for the care she continues to receive from BG.

We ended up not needing assisted living, but I did tour Brighton and was very, very impressed with the facility and everyone I met from the front desk onward. Very warm, professional and knowledgeable. If we ever need assisted living, we will call on Brighton.

When my fathers previous facility wanted to move him to their Alzheimers unit when he wasnt ready I went to Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody. He was accessed by the nursing staff and deemed not appropriate for the Alzheimers unit. My father lived 2 years at Brighton Gardens on the assisted living side and not once was he recommended to move to the Alzheimers unit. I moved to the other side of the state and moved my father to be closer to me. There are no Sunrise facilities near Savannah Ga. which would have been my first choice. I worked 14 years as a food service director for Sunrise Senior Living at Brighton Gardens of Buckhead in Atlanta. I got no discount for being an employee to move my father into a Sunrise facility. I knew a lot of the team members and knew that my father would be well taken care of at Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody. Thank you for taking great care of my dad

My mom was in the Brighton Gardens Memory Care where they took excellent care of her. Everyone was so kind and loving and it gave us so much comfort knowing she was so well taken care of. They were always very communicative and responsive which meant a lot to my family.

My Mom was admitted to the Memory Care section of Brighton of Dunwoody and spent almost 5 1-2 months there before she recently passed. The care she received was of the highest level and a huge comfort to us as she struggled with this stage of her life in her battle with Dementia. I cant recommend this facility enough, as they are kind, concerned and professional in their care for your loved ones!

By far, One of the best facilities Ive visited over the past few years in the Atlanta Metro Area!!! The staff was extremely friendly and professional. I was scheduled for a consultation meeting and was greeted with such amazing hospitality, their staff made me feel as if I was a frequent guest or family member of a valued resident. While waiting on the meeting I could not help, but notice the cleanliness of the facility and the detailed care the staff was taking for each and every resident. Also, I was able to observe the Executive Director of the facility, Rubyona, stop our meeting to care for and meet the needs for one of her residents who was having a rough day. Due to that servant leadership and compassion displayed by the ED, I would recommend Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody because under that type of leadership I am certain that my friends, family and other loved ones will be cared for better then any other facility in the area.

I work for hospice care and we provide Hospice Services in many Assisted Living communities. There is no doubt we have plenty of good Assisted Living options for our loved ones, however Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody most definitely stands out. They provide Superior Care and really pay attention to details that are important to families. Their core team almost never changes so their residents can enjoy a company of people they already know and trust. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking to place their loved ones.

My friend is living at Brighton now - hes younger than most residents - but thats because of an illness. I like that I can walk in and visit him any day without checking ahead. It reassures me that there is nothing to hide. The staff are friendly and always quick to say hello. Brighton has holiday decorations and activities posted - its really a lively place. Its clean and open and the staff are so aware and happy to see visitors. Its really a nice place.

My mother has been there since fall of 2016. The staff has been very caring and friendly towards my mother and family. Mom was highly resistant to entering a facility. She was not able to take care of herself, and did not want to live with family. The BG staff helped make the transition as smooth as possible. Mom likes it there now. The place is clean, there a lot of activities, the food is good. She feel safe there.

Our family's journey with Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody began in August 2010 when we moved my mother there (my father-in-law moved in 2011, my mother-in-law moved in 2015) and continues into 2016. We had looked at many assisted living facilities in and around our area and just felt the most comfortable with Brighton Gardens. Each of our parents came with very different medical conditions and each has received an amazing level of care and compassion for their particular needs. My mother had lived with us for 22 years. In late 2006 she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and by July 2010 she was going outdoors in the middle of the night. She was no longer safe in our home. Mother was able to enjoy the activities and socialization in the assisted living side until her dementia had progressed to the point she needed to be in a secure setting and they were able to provide that in their memory care community. Brighton Gardens was wonderful in making the transition as easy with the least stress and anxiety as possible for her. When the time came for Mother to need hospice care, she had 18 months of at home hospice care through Crossroads Hospice. My father-in-law came to BG directly from a fairly long stay in the hospital. He had been unable to walk and in a wheel chair for several years. He was alert and enjoyed bingo, meal times, and the afternoon get togethers. My mother-in-law came to BG after six months of home health, physical, occupational and speech therapy. Every therapist told us it was no longer safe for her to live unassisted. She was alert but did not like to join in activities or go to meals in the dining room. The staff met her where she was and tirelessly worked with her to increase her activities in the community. There has been a remarkably low turnover in the care provider team and the medical team. They are both very proactive in communicating, explaining and educating the family members on the condition of the resident. The level of care, compassion and concern for the residents can not be surpassed. After six years and counting, I can not say enough encouraging and positive things about Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody.

Nothing is better than a Sunrise Community
June 2017
My mom moved into Brighton Gardens two months ago (Sept 2016) after a fall, some other medical issues and a month rehabbing due to a pacemaker surgery. She really didn't want to leave her home but the level of care she requires is too high. We are a family with 5 siblings and we looked, and looked, and looked for the right place for our mother. We actually put a deposit down on a place not far from BG but something just didn't "feel right" about the place. Physically it was lovely and they said all the right things. I couldn't put my finger on it until I visited BG. You walk in there and the place is alive, people are smiling, the staff is friendly. The other place was missing a sense of joy. I highly recommend BG. It's a tough decision and a stressful time. They really do care and it shows!

The entire staff cares about the residents. It's amazing that so many compassionate humans are in the same place. I strongly suggest you go and see for yourself.
