As a previous staff member, I can honestly say that Ms. Joyce (Owner and CEO) takes EXCELLENT care of her residents, staff and business/property. Residents feel at home almost immediately in their surrounding while enjoying home cooked meals throughout the day along with snacks and regular (customized/recommended) activities. Most residents choose to simply lounge on the wrap around patio taking in all the views. FERN's is truly a Family away from home.

Wonderful loving care at Fern's. I had a dear friend, Ruth L., who stayed there for several years and whom I used to visit once a week. Fern's owner took good care of my friend, with great meals, a very clean room, and authentic friendship. Highly recommended.

I don't really have the words to express my gratitude for Joyce with Fern's Tender Loving Care. Fern's was recommended to me by someone who recognized that I needed help with my Uncle's care. When I called, Joyce made the time to come meet my Uncle right away. It was immediately clear that my Uncle would be well-cared for with Joyce. I could see it, and he could see it. I will be forever grateful for the care that she provided to my Uncle in his final days. She was a bright spot in an otherwise dark time. I would not hesitate to place anyone that love in the care of Fern's Tender Loving Care.

Fern's adult care is a warm, cheerful home for a parent or someone who needs assistance with thier care. Clean, and cheerful, two of my dearest friends have resided there. I truly believe thier lives were extended because of the joyful atmosphere, wonderful food, laughter and one on one care. The home is beautiful with lots of cheerful art hung throughout the home, spacious rooms, warm decor, cleanliness and the kindnesses, patience and attention given to the patients/residence. I know if I needed this type of assistance for myself, I would live here. The owner Joyce is fun, kind and has a wealth of experience. I have known Joyce for over two years now and have experienced her to be not only genuinely caring in regards to the care of my dearest friend of 40 years, Ruth Laxson, but also resourceful, and highly competent. I cannot fully express how much it means to me that Joyce is someone I know cares for my friend Ruth in every way, feeding her nourishing and delicious meals, having stimulating activities for her, surrounding her with beauty, art and nature. She is family to us and Ruth at this point, a friend in every way. She also welcomes our family and friends with the same enthusiasm. Ruth has had to be in and out of the hospital a good bit and had various complications. Joyce has been excellent in working with us, her family and friends, to attend to Ruth and does all that is directed by doctors and nurses. All the residents are kindhearted and take pleasure in sharing knowledgeable experiences about their widely known lives. I enjoy attending many uplifting holidays and birthdays at Fern's. The home cooked meals are magnificent. Rooms are pristine always clean. It is such a pleasure to see the residents sitting and enjoying the beautiful patio. Best of all, Joyce have given strength and fortitude to hospice residents that have motivated them to live for years. Thanks Joyce.

I have known the owner, Joyce, for about 8 years. She is the best caregiver I have ever known. I helped care for my Mother, Mother-in-law, and husband before they died. If I had known about Fern's Tender Loving Care and what an awesome caregiver she is, I would have wanted that to be their home during hospice care. They were in awful, dirty places with people who didn't seem to care about the patients. Fern's is nothing like those places. Joyce truly cares for her patients. Two of my aunts were cared for by Joyce and I visited them and got to know her. Her meals are awesome. I have eaten there a few times and her cooking is excellent. I've watched her feed her residents and observed her caring relationship with them. Her place feels like home to anyone who has lived there in her care.

Joyce was an exceptional care giver to my mother for three years, and an excellent cook. The home was beautiful and was the perfect place for my mom after I moved her from TN to GA. I'm grateful to have found Fern's for my mom, who past away in 2020.

My family was the recipient of Ferns Tender Loving Care during my uncle's battle with stage 4 cancer. The phrase "Tender Loving Care" perfectly describes our experience. My uncle bonded with Joyce right away, and it was as if they were lifelong friends. Words can't describe our gratitude for the patience and care provided during his final days. Fern's Tender loving care really stands up to it's name, I've known Joyce the owner for many years and as a employee I've worked at Ferns for at least 10yrs and enjoyed all the residents that have lived there, Joyce runs a tight ship when it comes to her clients and it's a must that they are given the very best of care and love,the meals are delicious which is served 3x day and snacks in between, it's a must that them and their rooms and their surroundings are always clean, it's a happy place,if you are someone you know needs loving care,i highly suggest Fern's
