I cannot adequately express just how fortunate we are to have found the perfect home for our precious sister. We visited 5 assisted living/memory care communities 2 years ago when we believed it was time due to her abrupt deterioration. Highlands captured our hearts then, hands down. Two weeks ago we had to make the emotional decision that my sister needs more care than we are able to provide at home. Highlands was our first visit. Unannounced, we were able to meet for 2 hours with AnnMarie and Erica! We knew almost immediately that our sister would thrive in this community!!! We moved her in just 2 days ago. I've hovered a bit, with unannounced visits at different times of day. EVERY SINGLE STAFF PERSON has been amazing! And the residents I've gotten to know love it there!!!! My sister is already participating in activities and loves her new friends. I've been welcomed and made to feel like a member of the Highlands family. Most importantly, my sister is getting the personalized care she needs. We could not be happier. Kudos to Highlands Senior Living Cartersville, our sister's new joy-filled home! The Gray family is filled with gratitude!

Well where can I start! Let's me just say that I love coming here each and everyday being greeted by the residents and staff. The environment is welcoming and always ready to assist. The one thing I love the most is my Boss Erica McDaniel from the mentorship to hands on training I can appreciate her tenacity and zealous nature such a warm heart and open to always answering my questions and giving me great advice. At first I was a little skeptical about working here but I'm truly grateful to have given Highland senior living a try.

My mother had only six weeks at Highlands, but she was given assisted living in every sense! Her room was clean and welcoming, as was the facility overall. The most significant part of her experience was the kindness and caring given to her and to me by the entire staff and management! Whether day or night-weekdays or weekend, there was always someone there to help…or someone there beside her talking or helping her in some way. My husband's mother lived there for seven years, but my mother's brief stay was filled with everything her final days needed. Thank you management and all staff!

My aunt's life has changed when we found this place. Highlands. The staff members are very caring and they create a warm, home-like atmosphere. My aunt thoroughly enjoyed the holiday parties and activities. The daily exercise routine helps my aunt tremendously. Overall it is a happy place and the management has a open door policy for the residents and family members to approach them anytime.

My husband and I had to find emergency placement for my step mom in law. Patti and Whitney were extremely helpful with assisting us with furniture and providing a safe place on short notice. (Had everything ready in 3 days). 🙂
