My father came to Legacy Ridge pretty soon before heading to the far shore, but while he was there, the staff treated him and us with deep compassion. While there were a couple of hiccups, those were addressed quickly and well. The majority of their crew were clearly dedicated and attended to the residents quite well; a few were movingly committed to what has to be extremely taxing work. The care Legacy Ridge provided my father in his last days made an intensely difficult process much easier for us. Other than putting him in suspended animation until science can reverse the DisposAll of time, asking anything more of them seems petty. Definitely a four star recommendation from us.

BEWARE & STAY AWAY from this facility, if I could give it zero stars I would, so that it would prevent another family from going through what my family just went through, an abomidable situation that should never have occured! This facility is "The Nightmares" we all hear about when looking for a longterm,assisted living,memory care for a loved one. [name removed] (Director), specifically, should never be in health care and does not have a health care background, she is all smoke & mirrors and advises her short lived staff, that she can control, to do as she does or good ridens. The ratio for caregivers to patients, can, at times be 25/1, meaning: 1 caregiver for 25 patients, in addition, to a staff turnover that is not sustainable. [name removed] (Sales), will sell you, and go along with whatever [name removed] dictates, but unfortunately my family lived what I am writing about and witnessed my fathers incredible decline in 7 weeks, needless to say, we moved him by the 8th week. [name removed] (Head of Leagacy Facilities), if you ever read reviews or care, I highly recommend you overhaul this facility ASAP!!!! Especially [name removed], who in NO WAY CARES, its just about filling the facility and making money, on desperate families that trusted "your" words, and what the facility alleged they stood for, shame on all of the above mentioned by names and what they put my family through.

I am enjoyig the stay very much since I have been here (moved in 12-21-21). The food is excellent for the cafeteria style, the internet is included in the rent, (as are other amenities), very attentive staff, [(as this is a smaller community) and (the ratio of staff to residents is excellent)]. This is a good place to live.

All I can say about Alto Senior Living Community in Buckhead is completely positive. The staff and management have been 110% attentive and excellent! Very nice and professional building with knowledgeable and caring staff. Alto is my number one recommendation for anybody considering!

I wish I could give Alto a 10! Mom and Dad moved in 4 years ago and weve never looked back! Their apartment is so homey, decorated with their stuff. After Dad passed in 2018 Mom stayed in Assisted Living for a few months. As her Alzheimers progressed they worked with us to get Mom to the Memory Care floor. Best move we could have made. Every step from day one has been smooth and a happy experience. It saddens me to see the negative reviews when I have never experienced anything like that. Most of them are written by people who used to work there or were not hired for a position they applied for. Alto Buckhead has a remarkable staff so I know they are careful with hiring. So many have been there longer than weve known about Alto. Anger is not a mood to be in when writing a review. And anyone looking for a place for family, just go there and take a tour. You will love it!

As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful with all my questions. The smell inside the facility was great, the building is up kept and clean. The other residents seemed happy as well!

My mom stayed at Alto Senior Living in Buckhead for a year. It was a tough transition for her and probably most into assisted living. The management and staff did their best to make her comfortable and engaged into the community. They also did their best through Covid period under great stress, uncertainty, and personal risk on the Covid front line. We ended up moving just for a change for mom but would return again. I would recommend Alto for a loved one.

My 89 year old mother, who lived independently until last August, is now quite happy at her new home at Alto. She has been there since October but had to move out for surgery and rehab and then back to Alto and we worried about the transition. She is doing so well and we are happy with the care, the effort to offer activities and the response she and we get to needs that arise. In this season in life, there are many challenges and no day is easy or perfect, but I feel that I have a team helping me watch over my dear mother. She is known and greeted affectionately by the staff. I live nearby and come and go frequently at odd times and I am reassured with what I see. Perfection is impossible to achieve. Finding good caregivers in our current economy is challenging and I sense that Alto has to work hard to keep staffing consistent, but I always feel they are trying. Caring for loved ones with physical and cognitive challenges is not easy for family or assisted living homes. Nothing is easy or perfect and it takes a team effort. We as a family agonized over our choice last fall. We are quite comfortable with our choice now and most importantly Mom is happy in her new home.

I really cannot say enough good things about the wonderful people at the Alto Senior Living Community in Buckhead. It is clearly a resident-focused culture, with smiling faces and can-do attitudes. The management staff is knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. The housekeeping and maintenance staff go above and beyond to make sure that residents feel safe, clean and comfortable. The nursing staff is kind and caring. And the food is excellent! I am so happy that we chose Alto for our Mothers new community. It feels so reassuring to know that shes in good hands.

If I could give Alto Senior Living at Buckhead more than 5 stars I would. Let me start by saying that I seldom take the time out of my schedule to write reviews, but absolutely had to share feedback given the phenomenal care my mother receives at this community. Finding a place for a loved one that meets all of your needs is a challenging task. After conducting an exhaustive review of assisted living communities in the Atlanta area, I was introduced to Alto by an outstanding care consultant (Victoria Archable with Care Patrol). Her expertise in this area drastically changed my life, identified realistic options, and a path to get to what my mother ultimately needed. From the initial tour at Alto to present day, the entire staff at this community continues to perform at an outstanding level of service. Whether it is front office, nurse, kitchen, maintenance, or housekeeping, every interaction is positive and filled with genuine concern for my mothers well-being. There are countless examples I can think of where staff performs at the professional level one would expect. The confidence in knowing your loved one is safe and happy is priceless. Moreover, when there are areas in which I would like to see a change, I am readily able to access the appropriate person and feel confident about the change being put into motion as soon as possible. I love that it is not one of the larger assisted living centers and you have an opportunity to really develop a family community. Everyone knows everyone which means there is a shared level of accountability ultimately adding to the level of support any resident receives. Last but certainly not least, the quality and frequency of activities Alto offers by far exceeds all of the other assisted living communities I researched. My mother is still very active and needs to remain engaged in as many activities as possible. Ill end my review with this… The staff at Alto has been able to make my mother feel comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. She is VERY particular and moved from living in the same residence for over four decades in another state. If you are caring for an aging parent you have to know this is no easy feat! If youre in the process of evaluating assisted living communities, let me save you tons of time, heartache, and decision fatigue…choose Alto Senior Living at Buckhead. When you leave the caregiving to them, it really allows you to spend the time on what really matters!
