My mother-in-law moved from Regents to Westchester. She has her own apartment, always tells us how much better the food is, and loves the staff.

We moved my mother in here towards the end of April 2024 and I have got to say the staff and administration is OUTSTANDING!!! Ms Aneitra went WAY above and beyond in helping us with any hurdles in the admissions process. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendly receptionist who took us to Ms Aneitra and Ms Amanda, both of whom were very polite, courteous and extremely helpful in getting my mother set up there. Mom has been there for a month now and she loves the food choices(yes, you read that right, choices), the activities (namely the billiards table upstairs), the staff and the nurses. She is able to retain her independence while getting the help she needs. She has already made a few friends! She tells me everyday how blessed she feels being there. 6 out of 5 stars, easily. Definitely consider Westchester for your assisted living choices.

I live. At Westchester and have for last year. I find that the constant rotation of the administrators is Really a probleyou're not treated fairly. Alligator and you cannot find anybody from the new Company to Talk to you as this facility has just been told. And there's nobody from new facilities.Talk to about your problems so when you can't get fair treatment in the facility. My Father lived at the Westchester for almost two years, until he recently passed. The Westchester was a safe place to live, and the staff at Westchester treated him well. He enjoyed the food, and almost never got a meal he really didn't like at all. This was a big challenge for the chefs and dining hall staff- because the pandemic forced meal delivery to each room. As my Father became more dependent on others, the nationwide problem of worker shortages also hit the Westchester. KUDOS to the Nurses, CNAs, Office Staff, Kitchen, and Others who work extra hours and give of themselves for the residents. The genuine warmth shown by so many aids was amazing. The final week of my Dad's life, my siblings and I made sure at least one of us was there around the clock- and we personally witnessed the extra work being performed by the staff, both Day and night. This is impressive- especially at this time of shortages in all areas and industries. Again PROPS TO EVERYONE AT THE WESTCHESTER OF WINTER PARK!

My dad had lived at Westchester for more than 18 months, and he recently passed away. I am so grateful for the wonderful care that he received while in residence at Westchester. The caring staff in all areas of the facility, made him feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. In my dads final days, my siblings and I spent a great deal of time with him at Westchester. The entire staff was attentive and alert to all of his needs; as well as being considerate and compassionate to all of my family members and me. I must compliment one of his devoted caretakers, Shandra, who treated my dad with exceptional kindness, dignity, and respect in his final days. I am very thankful for the time that my dad spent at Westchester at Winter Park.

My grandmother lived here for 7 months (2018-2019). It looks fine at a glance, but soon the facility was losing clothes, forgetting to wash them, and casually not attending to residents. (Same happened to her husband months earlier at Westchester.)The dining room desperately needs more staff. If I had not stepped in and asked a doctor to see her, she would have died in this facility much sooner than she ultimately did. I never saw anyone checking on her during my visits and I thought that was the point of an ALF. It is overpriced for the lack of actual care received. I have seen better places.

My Father is vey happy, he adjusted very well and has no complaints, he is easy to please, and is especially excited he has his own food choices, He said the people are nice here and he just gleams when I see him. I wish he gave me the same kindness as he does the staff and residents. His happiness is all I care about. If I have any concerns I feel confident in the people who I can address them to, and that it will be taken care of..
