My Mom has lived at Calvary Towers for the last few years. She says that living at Calvary Towers has been very happier years after retirement. Lots of activities to participate in, the maintenance staff is very responsive, and overall, I have witnessed the entire staff care about their residents. A FANTASTIC community clean, safe, and affordable!

I have lived at Calvary Towers for 3 1/2 years, and I love it! The office staff and the maintenance men are wonderful! They really take care of us and our building. The building and our apartments are beautiful! Simona and Naddy are so very nice and caring.

The parking lot outside was made new. The place downstairs in the Lobby and the dining area are I totally remodeled and absolutely beautiful. The only problem is it was taken over by new owners. The people that run the place now are not very friendly and care more about the business than the people. During the last 5 Years of visiting elderly low income people there, the majority of residents were happier then than they are now. Most were a close community that enjoyed helping one another in many ways. They were planning their own activities, craft projects, card games, singing together, inviting others for small group functions, indoor picnics, small appliance and furniture exchanges and give a ways left for others in need that were left in the back hallway and outside. The items didnt sit there usually more than a day because someone else in need would pick it up that same day. They had all kinds of birthday parties, singing, card games, get-togethers, and even bible studies. They used to allow church services on Sundays for the residents, lonely shut-ins, disabled, unlicensed, and friends for fellowship. Someone there told me about how the new Administration says everyone can go to baptist church next door if they want a church service. Not everyone there is a Baptist! Nor can they walk that far with their walkers. They have too many changed rules now, than when they first move there, that everyone says, its prettier but they dont have near as much fun as they used to have. The place is like walking into a dentist office or a dead church. Everything is superficial it seems. I wouldnt recommend it now.

I must say that this establishment discriminates against people doing background check and the reputation for being particulairly bias towards anyone as such . This is an infringement upon the the Constitution of the United States evading several statutes that uphold for the common good. I noticed efforts to block my admission even though I was approved and put on the waiting list. I noticed a fluctuation of my name being moved up and down their list so I filed a complaint against management.Thats when they decided to do an extensive background check even though they had already done one. Then I sought to appeal and they denied my appeal on top of extenuating circumstances with my health. This is an act of discrimination from one step to the next and will be reported.
