My mother has been living here for over six months so I can give a knowledgeable assessment of Renaissance Senior Living in Vero Beach, FL. It is spotlessly clean; the staff is friendly, attentive, and truly caring. The amenities include a beauty salon, art studio, movie room, dining room, and beautiful common areas with a coffee bar and piano. There is a lot of guilt associated with moving a loved one into assisted living; but it is alleviated by knowing she is so happy and is better cared for than could be done anywhere else. Thank you to Renaissance and its director, Liz Earman, for providing for our loved ones so ably.

Our father has been living here for 9 months. We can’t say enough of how nice the administration and staff are to him. He has a very good routine. They’ve also taken care of him through a pandemic and hurricane. He was in the safest place out of all of us. We are very grateful to Liz and team!!

Our uncle Bill was living at Renaissance in the Assisted Living apartments, and as he started to need additional care. We discussed this with the head of Renaissance as well as the head of Nursing, other nurses and many caregivers, and we decided to move Bill to the Memory Care area of Renaissance. Although Bill was initially hesitant about the move, he is incredibly happy, he gets loads of attention, wonderful care, and he believes this was the best move for him. He doesn’t have memory issues, but he has physical limitations, and the nurses and caregivers are always checking on him, and if needed, they are in his room at a moments notice. He attends meals in the Assisted Living dining room, and attends activities in both areas. We can’t say enough about the excellent care and attention he is receiving in Memory Care!

James H., as usual, was especially thoughtful in arranging her hair and taking a professional photograph, and Vontrell helped to choose my sisters Christmas finery outfit. It is now framed and on my desk, and it means a great deal to me.

Renaissance has been a good fit for our mom. The staff is personable and professional and safety of residents is their top priority. The facility has charming sitting areas, inside and outside. It is always immaculate. The food is delicious too. Most importantly, they offer many activities to keep residents occupied and happy. As COVID continues, the staff has repeatedly sent emails explaining what is being done to keep residents safe. And has done the utmost to bring family members for visits. They have a lovely outdoor seating area which works perfectly. We are greeted so nicely by Betty, the receptionist. She is truly a gem. Today she brought a warm blanket out to mom as our visit was on the patio. Vontrell continues to be the most positive upbeat person in Vero! She exudes kindness and compassion and would bring a smile to anyones face. Eric, the director, is the perfect person for the job, with his energy and professionalism. He has a great staff and we can feel the sense of home that is offered here. Having Mom in a smaller facility where everyone knows everyone else has definitely been a good thing.

The folks at Renaissance Senior Living have been a Godsend!!! From the Executive Director (Eric) to the salesperson (Vontrell), everyone has been EXTREMELY helpful, caring, & compassionate. Trying to get my mom to a place that can care for her while she heals from an accident from afar is tough enough. They truly care about my mom & more than helped her to realize that there is hope after the accident. This meant more to us as a family than anything!!! My dad said the place is beautiful, very clean & again, HELPFUL! They have gone above & beyond to make the move for my mom seamless. THANK YOU!!!

My Dad was among the first residents to move into Memory Care when The Renaissance first opened. Honestly, the first months were difficult. Partly due to my unrealistic expectations (I wanted my Dads health and memory to improve) and partly due to staffing and organizational issues on their part. After Eric came in with his wonderful team including Vontrell, James, Alla, Tejai, Betty, Angela, and many CNAs who take great pride in caring for the residents, my experience greatly improved. I lost my Dad last month after a long battle with Alzheimers , but can say the staff at Renaissance took great care of him in his final years. The facility is beautiful, the location is central and convenient, the administration always responds to concerns and questions, and the nurses are caring and qualified. My Dad loved food and especially desserts and the quality of the meals, thanks to the talented chef Tejai, was always top notch. The nurses would bring my Dad an extra helping of pie or cake, knowing how much he loved sweets. I hope your family never needs a Memory Care facility, but if you do I recommend The Renaissance in Vero Beach.

The Renaissance is a beautiful place that is professionally operated by pleasant and caring people. The facility is clean and well maintained and mom likes the food. She enjoys the activities and from my observation are popular with the other residents. I feel mom is taken very good care of and the staff is taking all the precautions necessary to keep everyone safe. Im grateful for all the communication I receive and the peace of mind it gives me.I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all the Renaissance family for my mothers care and well being through these difficult times and beyond. Having just returned from a window visit with my sister, I wanted to convey my gratitude to all the wonderful people at the Renaissance for taking such special care of her. Despite the strains of Covid and quarantine, everyone works hard to contribute to a safe and pleasant environment. It is difficult (and unfair) to single out any one person, but James H. so deserves a very special thank you for his cheerful willingness to facilitate visits (even though I often intrude on his days off), and his obvious care and concern for all the residents, including my sister.

My mother is dear to me and I wanted the best for her, that is why I chose Renaissance. There are many reasons that led me there: the intimate size, the new facility, the location, hurricane rated, recommendations from friends, just to name a few. After 7 months of my mother living there (5 months since Covid-19) I have witnessed many more attributes like the delicious meals, activities, and most importantly the friendships she has fostered and the care and compassion of the staff. Because Renaissance only has 60 rooms, apartments the staff truly know the residents. Everyone is most pleasant and takes the time to truly know and interact with each resident, and always in a compassionate manor. My mother feels well cared for and safe, this gives me peace of mind. Knowing shes happy makes me happy too. Thank you Eric, Vontrell, Nicole, Angela, Barney, Alla, TJ, Stephanie, Betty, Sue, Jennifer and the entire crew at Renaissance

We are so thankful to have found this wonderful facility for our mother !! From the moment we first walked through the front door to take a tour it just felt right. The entire staff are warm friendly, caring, and have exceeded our expectations greatly !They truly invest their hearts into the residents ! After living on her own for over 89 years, we felt that the transition to assisted living would be a much more difficult process for Mom. Far from it !! Shes said repeatedly that it feels like home now, and its only been a month since moving her in !Kudos to Eric and his entire staff !!

Cant speak highly enough about the quality of care and attention to the residents. The staff are always pleasant and outgoing eager to help with anything they can. They make the living their feel like a hotel. The facility itself is always clean and smells fresh and inviting and the food in the dining room is very good. The Chef and his staff do a wonderful job of making the menu investing and delicious. Its a great place to call home.
