I moved my sister in about three months ago. We looked at several different places on East Coast and West Coast. We finally settled on Tuscan Gardens’s. Our experience has been very well. It’s taking time to acclimate and get used to it, but the staff has been absolutely wonderful from everybody to the people we met at the front desk to the sales to all the teams and each department. It’s taken her a little bit of time to get used to the change, but finally things have settled and we are very happy with our decision.

I moved my parents in 6 months ago. I wanted to submit a review after my parents acclimated for at least 6 months. I wanted to make sure what I wrote I was accurate. From the moment I toured Tuscan to the present time I’ve had nothing but a great experience. When we first brought my mom and dad in to tour we were so welcomed. My sister and I had so many questions during the move in process, there was never a time even late into the during evening hours that my sister and I didn’t get a response or the help we needed regarding our questions. Prior to moving in the director Jennifer spent a hour at my parents house answering questions. She came to us because my parents couldn’t get to the community that day for an assessment . They felt very comfortable being as those we had met with her when we first brought my mom and dad to tour. My parents can be very demanding and the staff have been so good to them. We are fully aware of how time consuming they can be and everyone has been so patient with them. I must mention Dr. Olsen, my parents love her as do my sister and I. She is the in house doctor at Tuscan who sees my parents, she has been such a delight. My mom no longer drives and she utilizes Tuscans transport , she raves about Ruben the driver, He is so good to her. I just can’t rave enough about everyone who’s come in contact with my parents. The concierge has been so helpful as well, my sister and I don’t live close by so we are always ordering my Parents stuff and Carolyn is so patient with us and always makes sure everything gets delivered on time to them. Kudos to this team!

We recently moved my aunt into Tuscan Gardens Assisted Living, and the experience has been wonderful from day one. They threw an amazing Hawaiian-themed luau that was so much fun and made my aunt feel genuinely welcomed and at home right away. It set such a positive, joyful tone for her transition. My father had lived in a single family home for the seventy years of his adult life. Now, at 90, the thought of transitioning into a Senior Living facility was still not even remotely on his radar. That is, until maybe about a week ago. As he, my wife and I visited facilities in our town, he still wasn’t convinced. That is, until we toured Tuscan Gardens with Jessica as our guide. Her friendly welcoming demeanor, the friendliness of the other staff and residents, the beauty and warmth and functionality of the various spaces, all changed my dad’s mind. And the concept of aging in place; was what made the ultimate difference. He could choose what size of an apartment would meet his needs, and be able to get whatever level of care he needed right there, without ever having to move. Our whole family was sold! I moved my mother and father from out of state and I have to just say how smooth the move went I was a little concerned it was going to be overwhelming and a lot to deal with but Tuscan gardens made that transition very smooth for us the entire team was very helpful with the entire process.Mickenzie and Jessica held mine and y sisters hand through the entire things and answers all our question all hours and days and So did the director. When we arrived they made us feel so welcomed. It’s been over 5 weeks and I must say we are very pleased with the decision. After my elderly mom had a significant health event, we were scrambling to find an appropriate living situation that would meet her care needs. Jessica and Mickenzie in the office at Tuscan Gardens were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect place, even with our very tight timeframe. I was looking for a place for my Dad and Mom to move to that would provide a graduated level of care as their needs change. My Mom is very independent, however my Dad has dementia, although highly functioning with a little help and direction. Tuscan Gardens was able to provide that level of service. In what will undoubtedly be one of the most difficult decisions my Mom, and our family, will ever make, Tuscan Gardens has provided us the support we need to make a difficult move a little easier. The staff we’ve met have been amazing, compassionate and reassuring. I will do a part two review once my parents actually move in and are there for a while but so far I have been very happy with the process. And, I should also add the grounds and the facility are beautiful! So much opportunity if you’re looking for a place for your aging loved ones to call home.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place honestly deserves it. The assisted living community here is wonderful, and the biggest standout is the staff. Every single person my family and I interacted with has been friendly, patient, and genuinely caring”not the forced kind of nice you sometimes run into, but people who really seem to like what they do. They greet residents by name, they take the time to chat, and they never make anyone feel rushed. You can tell they pay attention to the little things, like remembering someone’s favorite snack or checking in just to make sure the day is going smoothly. The building is clean and comfortable, and the whole place has a relaxed, homey feel”but the staff is what makes it special. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with kindness and respect, this is definitely it.

I would give Tuscan Gardens more than five stars if I could. After my Nana had a bad fall this March I unexpectedly had to move her closer to me. After touring multiple facilities in Venice, I thought I would never find the right place. With the first phone call to Tuscan Gardens, Mickenzie and Jessica in leasing made me feel sure that I had found the right place for her. They were both so compassionate and knowledgeable. Everyone that works at Tuscan Gardens Makes you feel like you are their family. Not only that, they are all exceptionally skilled in their fields of expertise. Jeffery and Stephanie manage the memory care department like every resident is their own grandparent. Amy, Barbara and Cindy at the front desk are extremely helpful and are the nicest people you will ever meet. If your loved one needs therapy Anne, Jacob and their therapy team can help them with a variety of problems. They have already helped Nana a lot with occupational therapy. The nurses and caretakers here are great at monitoring medication and watching to make sure that every resident gets what they need on a daily basis. Also Wade, Barbara and Debra in entertainment make sure that the residents always have something fun, Entertaining, and unique to do Which is fun for the residents and also for us, especially when I bring the young Grandkids! I can’t say enough good things about our experience here at Tuscan Gardens, I am extremely grateful for everyone here, and don’t know what I would have done without my Tuscan Garden’s family.

This has been a very positive experience. I'm a retired RN. I was needing help relocating my brother from New England after he was diagnosed with cancer. We needed him closer to us, his family, to help care for him. Mickenzie Arden and Jessica Jayroe have been wonderful in guiding me to get my brother settled in their facility. Alan and I made numerous trips from MI to FL in the past year and a half to visit his 99-year-old father in Venice. His father was living by himself in a house and was managing okay, but over time, things changed. With lengthy visits, we began to realize that he needed some assistance with daily living and was severely lacking in social contact. The decision was difficult for all of us, but we visited multiple assisted living facilities and eventually found one that all three of us truly enjoyed ~ Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay! Alan's father immediately took to his new environment, stating that he really liked the staff, all of the residents he met, and the food! The facility is beautiful; everyone is very caring and attentive to the residents' needs, and we can not say "Thank You" enough to everyone at Tuscan Gardens for the love and care given to his dad. He celebrated his 100th birthday at Tuscan and was thrilled with the attention showered upon him! Special appreciation must go out from us to so many, but especially Anne Marichal, Executive Director, Jeffrey Linscott, Memory Care Director, the Nursing staff, the Hospice nurses, and those wonderful individuals who provide resident Activities and those in Maintenance. After a long search, we finally found the perfect place for my mother-in-law. The assisted living facility she had been at”a large national chain”had steadily declined over the past five years. For the last two years, my wife and her sister visited numerous facilities, determined to find a place where their mom would truly be happy. But time after time, something was missing. Their mom was understandably reluctant to move. She had deep emotional ties to her apartment”it's where she had lived with her late husband, and leaving it felt like leaving part of him behind. Then they discovered Tuscan Gardens. From the moment they walked in, everything felt different. The staff was warm and welcoming. The community was immaculate, bright, and full of charm, with cozy nooks and inviting spaces around every corner. They spoke with residents who genuinely loved living there”and it showed. Still, the biggest test was introducing the idea to their mom. They brought her to visit... and she lit up. She loved it! The decision was made, and she moved in shortly after. Now? She’s thriving. She has a big smile on her face every day. She’s surrounded by friendly, caring staff in a beautiful, healthy environment. For our family, it’s been a huge relief. My parents loved them both, they were so informative and answered every question we had even questions we didn’t have, they still had the answer for. We met most of the staff. The maintenance crew were beyond amazing and very helpful and the food looked great. It was like we were in a five star restaurant. fast-forward to my parents now being here, six weeks things believe it or not have even gotten better. She answered all my questions, even those I asked after I left. The place was beautiful and all the staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. Jessica knew every resident by name as we came into contact with them. After touring Tuscan Gardens, I compared everything else I visited to it, so we moved dad in toward the end of July. Jessica and Mickenzie made the transition smooth and seamless for both dad and me. The maintenance staff had dad's TV bracket up and on the wall with his TV attached before he even moved in. This was important to him as a sports enthusiast. Dad was very anxious and apprehensive when he arrived but all the staff put him at ease quickly. He had someone check on him at the beginning to show him the ropes, where and when to be at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the other activities that he was interested in. He went from isolated and depressed to thriving and having friends and community in a short amount of time. Dad loves living here. He has his guy friend group and they all eat together for every meal in addition to playing the card game, "hearts" together. He also really enjoys playing Bingo as well. There are lots of social opportunities for dad. One time, Reuben (the driver) took him to the North Jetty for an outing. Reuben is the BEST driver and the nicest man. He is full of joy and is kind to everyone he meets. In addition to having a wonderful driver, the ladies at the welcome desk are amazing. Shelby and Cindy know the "ins" and "outs" of everything going on. They are able to assist whether it is setting up transportation for your loved one to get to an appointment or getting a maintenance request fulfilled, they are your "go to". They are always friendly and welcoming. Dad really enjoys the food here as well. The chefs and wait staff are top notch. The variety and meal selection are wonderful, as are the desserts. I would also like to give a shout out to the nursing staff-Yaritza, Nicole, and Stephany. They have attended to dad multiple times. He can sometimes be "needy" and they have communicated with me when dad has had an occasional sickness. The cleaning crew is also friendly and ensure that the laundry and rooms are cleaned. I would like to thank Anne as well. She is the executive director. Just yesterday, she took time out of her busy day while I was there to meet with me regarding some different things. We were able to get things resolved. Jessica connected me to all of the people I needed to connect with with a smile and genuine concern. Lastly, I would love to thank Camelia. The med techs here are a special group of people. I wish I could remember all of their names. They are truly interacting with the residents daily and sometimes multiple times a day. Camelia loves her patients so well. They all feel valued with her care. She is the best I could ever hope for to take care of dad. She is like family. If you are looking for a place to call home for a loved one, I highly recommend Tuscan Gardens, where it truly does look like home and feel like family!

My husband’s dad moved into Tuscan Gardens last week. He is sharp, energetic and kind but just needs some help with everyday things he could not do on his own at home. Assisted living made sense. When we made this decision the staff was terrific about getting to know him and making sure that his first week went smoothly and that he felt welcome. After just a couple days we know all of the staff by name and have had one hundred percent positive experiences with all of them. Their cell phone numbers are on their business cards and when you call you will get a person. The front desk staff is wonderful and will help you with anything. And my husband and I have had a few meals there with dad and the food is really quite good! If you are considering assisted living for yourself or a friend or family member, I highly recommend that you check this out.

Tuscan Gardens is now my home,and am I glad! I have only been here for about a year and a half so I have some time to go.Happy Hour is where you meet peopleit’s a social hour.we have our in house pill tech so I no longer have to manage the morning and night pills, 24 hour nurses, too great is the food(we have our own chef (and the weight that goes with it. ). You will make lots of new Friends and keep the old.my three table mates and I play cards in my apartment on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I find myself doing things things I have not done in years! My family is so lucky to have found Tuscan gardens. What a beautiful community. The staff is so friendly and treat my mother so well. Camilla, one of the med techs is the absolute sweetest and treats mom like her own mother. The activities are wonderful and they even have an ambassabor program which helped mom get involved. The bus driver takes them all over the Venice area. He makes them have such a great time. Highly recommended this community if your loved one is in need of socialization.

As I prepare to sell his home, it's peace of mind to see that he will be well taken care of in this community of caring individuals. Had the pleasure of visiting a friend at this beautiful community. The staff are all positive and gentle, whether you're in the general community or the memory care. Enjoyed spending some time with some of the "guests" during dinner. They bragged about the events that keep them active-Bingo, bocce, golf and lots of others. Oh yeah, and AWESOME room for him to have as his own space! Tuscan Gardens is a beautiful facility. Immaculately kept. Sadly, since the new management company took over everything went down hill. The food is horrible. They have cut the staff down to the bare minimum. My mother’s medication was lost for four days causing her to go into withdrawal and no one even checked on her despite many phone calls from my sister and myself. We were forced to move my mother to another facility last week. Don’t let the facility and the sales pitch blind you. Tuscan cannot get its act together and if you check around you will find out its reputation has been tarnished. Run don’t walk.

My mother moved into Tuscan Gardens a month ago and I couldn't be happier with the facility and staff. I visited a variety of facilities to find one that was a good fit for my previously independent mom. Mickenzie and Jessica made a great first impression. They have continued to provide support to us. Jessica even went up to visit my mother in her suite. Every (and I mean every) single staff member we have met has been friendly and helpful. Caroline, at the front desk, is a gem and a wealth of information. I have observed how patient and kind she is with the residents. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Olsen and the nursing staff. They are kind, responsive, and thorough. The maintenance staff, cleaning crew and nursing assistants all greet you with a smile and go out of their way to help. As an added bonus, the Catholic church in Venice comes to provide communion on Sundays which makes my mother very happy. While the adjustment from total independent living to assisted living hasn't been easy for my mother, she has been surrounded with a staff that will help her adjust. If you are looking for an assisted living for a loved one, make sure you put Tuscan Gardens on your list!
