Tuscan Gardens is a wonderful place for your ALF needs. All the employees were so kind, ca ring, and helpful! I would rate their dedication on the highest level of care.Several employees have made a major impact in my life. Rubin, Meredith and Armando are some of these people I will never forget how special they have been.Fun activities everyday for all the residents.I would highly recommend this family friendly Assisted Living Facility!!

Tuscan Gardens continues to amaze us. One BIG plus, is the creative leadership of Activities Director, Meredith, and her team providing activities that keep Mom moving’ and groovin’!! Happy hour fun, games, movies and more. We love seeing Mom engage and smile! It’s priceless to us. Thank you, Meredith, for continuing to create happy, social and entertaining array of things to keep her busy. From the beautiful atmosphere to their awesome staff, they have raised the bar for the industry. Bravo!

We came from up north to visit family and saw this gorgeous building off the side of the road. My husband and I stopped and were pleased to find out it was an assisted living facility. We are looking for one in this area to be closer to family. Upon walking into the building we were greeted by a very friendly sales person who greeted us and took us on a tour. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly. When we came back down there was live entertainment and they were making pizza which we got to try! Everyone was singing and dancing with the staff and it was a warming sight to see. We are looking forward to Tuscan Gardens being our new home!

Im so happy I live at Tuscan Gardens because during Covid quarantine they tried very hard to keep me safe and comfortable. Im doing activities Ive never done before, like bingo, bocce ball, chair exercises several times a week and many more.My med techs are awesome. I called Maria my guardian angel and Renada lets nothing get past her attention. Im so thankful for the caregivers here. The best thing I can say about my life at Tuskan Gardens is its home.Rosemary

From our first interaction to view Tuscan Gardens as a respite care possibility to last Wednesdays permanent move in day, I cannot say enough about the attention to detail this ENTIRE group provides. Constant smiles and reassurance is what I experience everyday that I visit Tuscan Gardens and I fully appreciate the can do attitude that each and every Tuscan Gardens employee provides to this community. We feel like every single staff member has our mothers dignity and enjoyment of life as their top priority and your all-hands-on-deck approach during our stressful first day will never be forgotten. Moving family into their next adventure is a challenging task. But the incredibly caring, helpful staff at Tuscan Gardens Venetia Bay gave overwhelming support during this transition. I would have struggled even more if not for the help of Lisa, Mickenzie, Stephanie...the list goes on and on. Thank you for being there for my parents, and supporting them during this time. We had an amazing tour of Tuscan Gardens. Ali, She was such a pleasure to tour with and very insightful. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, Common areas and the rooms. Loved the space and views from the apartments. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Ali invited us back to enjoy Painting with a twist. Im a painter at heart and look forward to such an amazing time and meeting many new faces.

I usually do not voice my opinion about an organization or business but I wholeheartedly feel that I should in this case. I offer this because I feel very positive about Tuscan Gardens. Approximately five months ago, it was decided by our family that it was appropriate for our mother to move closer to us in Florida and to move into assisted living . For 10 years, she had resided in an independent living resident in Massachusetts, which met her needs, but she was now in need of a different level of assistance. My family and I did a lot of research and by using the Internet we narrowed down our list to five assisted living facilities that we felt that should be under consideration in Venice. We then went to each facility. All of them were adequate, but there was always some element that was missing, except for Tuscan Gardens. This facility seem to check off all the boxes. A decision was made that my mom should move there. This was a big decision for her because she was leaving behind what was familiar and going to a new living situation. It turned out to be a very good decision and my mother is happy. One of the first people we met on the staff was McKenzie Barnes. Her position is crucial in helping people to decide to move to Tuscan Gardens and to help the family and the new resident feel good about the place. She did this professionally and graciously. She provided a tour of the facility For us and again later, for my mother. Mrs. Barnes has an excellent personality. She is warm and friendly. She comes across as being very interested in helping the residents of Tuscan Gardens to make a smooth transition into the facility. Because this was a new experience for my family, we had many questions that need answering. No matter how minor or major the questions were, she answered properly and in an informative and friendly manner.Mrs. Barnes was always on top of her game throughout the move in process. She consistently has helped us. She is the perfect person to hold her position. I write this because Mrs. Barnes showed such professionalism and dedication to her position and to tuscan Gardens. She certainly contributed greatly to help make this transition for our mother successful. We are forever greatful to Tuscan Gardens.

Upon arrival at Tuscan gardens, we 1st noticed it was pleasing to the eye! After meeting some members of the staff and many residents, it was obvious this is a happy and comfortable place. Our question, was this the place for mom ? Once introduced to Mckenzie, we felt her professionalism and attention to care and detail, it was beyond expectation. She is a genuine person that truly cares for the individual needs of my mother and all others, her job and believes and takes pride in her facility completely… the decision was easy. Mom loves it and could not be happier!!!

Placing a family member in a care facility can be a difficult and wrenching decision. However, that decision can be much, much easier when confident of the high-quality of the facility. Tuscan Gardens is a wonderful, clean, luxurious facility with an amazing staff who genuinely care about the residents. After a difficult transition (nothing to do with the facility or staff), mom is thriving at Tuscan Gardens. I am deeply grateful to the wonderful staff. Private rooms, common areas, activities, medical care, food(!) are all first class.

My mother is a current resident at Tuscan Gardens. I would like to thank the entire staff for the excellent care that she receives. I will not give specific names in fear of leaving someone unmentioned in this 5 star positive review. I am a licensed physician in another state whos entire practice consists of treating patients on site at Assisted Living and Nursing Home facilities....so I am confident in saying to the nurses, nurse techs, nursing aides, PT, OT, Speech, activitys, admissions crew, dietary, housekeeping, front desk staff (in no specific order) of Tuscan Gardens....my family gives you 5 stars!!The staff is extremely attentive and caring. The progress my mother has made and the day to day stability is truly amazing. The facility is gorgeous as well. This is definitely a difficult industry to be in. Being on both sides of the spectrum, as a healthcare provider as well as a family member of one of your residents, your professional and caring approach is deeply appreciated!!

My mother is very happy at Tuscan Gardens. She feels safe and well cared for. She is making friends and enjoying the quality activities offered. Excellent music programs and especially Friday night pizza party with everyone singing along and dancing. Old people can still have fun. The food is very good and the grounds beautiful.

I was so nervous to place my Mother in a new home, new level of care. We looked all around Sarasota and Venice and decided upon Tuscan Gardens. I had made up my mind that I wanted my mother to live the last few years of her life in dignity and full of as many activities as an 86 yr old woman can handle.The brilliance of T G is that they have the Enhanced Assisted living for someone who needs more help than reg Asst living.Mackenzie, the resident advocate, has worked so closely w my family to ensure the best fit for my Mama. She has walked the walk of her talk. She has gone out of her way to make sure my mother and family feels good about the move.She works 24, 7 and everyone in TG knows and loves her. She is now a part of our family.Stephanie, the head nurse is cautious and studious about placing your family member in the right place. Trust her and believe in her.Mary Ellen is another fabulous and caring staff member. She works closely w all the residents to make them feel engaged and at home. She takes them on excursions to get them out. She is an asset to the TG team .Then theres Larry and Dave. The inside guys who make everything happen like movies, TVs, maintenance etc. They will go over and beyond to help you make your loved one comfortable am head over heels about this beautiful Tuscan Garden. My father used to say, getting old isnt for sissies! Id like to get old here!!!

My father, Howard, has lived there about 6months. He absolutely loves it! The food is delicious, the staff is upbeat and friendly and always eager to help. He comes and goes as he pleases, but he loves to be there. His apartment is beautiful and he has it set up just like Home ! I highly recommend Tuscan Gardens.

My mother-in-law spent 6 months at Tuscan Gardens. It was an excellent experience. In addition to it being well designed and beautiful. The real heartbeat of the place is the excellent staff. All we encountered were helpful and upbeat. Tuscan Gardens has a great atmosphere and when you walk in you can feel the residents feeling part of the community and engaged.
