With each visit I am warmly greeted. The The facility has a homelike atmosphere, and is well kept and clean. The staff is outstanding. Residents are well cared for and treated with respect and digninty by all staff. Residents rooms are well taken care of and give a feeling of home. The nursing staff is great, they do their job with the utmost care for each indiviual. There are pleanty of activites for the residents to participate in which helps with mobility and other social skills. I highly reccomend The Serenades.

I currently visit about 2 to three times a week and I love this Memory care. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and I love to see the activities make the residents happy. Also , I love how convenient this community is to shopping and golf cart access.

One of the most difficult decisions I had to make was placing my family member in memory care. I told the sales director that they would probably just sit and watch tv in their room and they shared that they would gently encourage trying new things and build a relationship with them to learn their likes and dislikes. Fast forward 2 months and I can't be more amazed or happier. Participating in exercise, music, happy hour, sitting outside enjoying the sun. Happy and flourishing. This was the best decision to choose Serenades. The leaders are always available to chat if needed and that is not what I always hear about other places. Thank you Serenades for making my family members life the best it can be for them.

We chose Serenades based on promises of safety and care”but were deeply disappointed. … The food was excellent, and my mom regained weight and cognitive strength thanks to good nutrition. Staff were friendly and professional. Activities were minimal and inconsistent. The beloved activity director often had to cover housekeeping and maintenance, showing dedication but also revealing that resident engagement isn’t prioritized. The biggest issue: safety equipment was non-functional. Motion detectors, bathroom safety lights, bathroom emergency pull cords never worked. My mom fell twice and even exited the facility”incidents that could have been prevented. Despite submitted work orders, nothing was fixed during her 3-month stay. If safety and engagement matter to you, look elsewhere.

Such a blessing versus the place my wife was at the last 3 months. Everyone from the front desk , directors, nurses , aides, housekeeping, kitchen, program director and maintenance staff has been warm, considerate caring and they follow up what they say they will do. Always clean, quiet and a warm & safe environment. Couldn’t be happier!

Been a while since I was able to visit but can't believe the positive changes. The staff was very friendly and interacting with the residents and the atmosphere just felt different than my visit 3 months ago. Fresh paint and heard new carpeting is on the way. Very nice that a company invests in the building to keep it updated. I was told there was some new leadership and I am impressed the impact that has had overall in this time. Thanksgiving was wonderful.

I know it’s so hard to match the person with a community, but my mother and her sister did not want to be separated.. Angela, your tour was amazing. Their Executive Director, Angela, is simply amazing. Her heart for residents, families, and her team is unmatched. Great place for Memory care but not if they are high functioning body and mind and you are looking for activities. Little to no activities the month mom was there and that was the only need in her life I was not able to provide while working full time. There is no way for family to talk to residents or staff that the employees in the area have access to. Therefore can not call and talk to loved one or get a message immediately to staff. There are three different communities in the building that rarely interact . This layout interferes with activities that do happen because activity Director need to spend time in each facility so instead of having an hour of activity it’s only 20 minutes at most per hour and rest of the time they sit in their room or in front of TV in common area that mostly had shows that were not appropriate for the residents but liked by the staff. The place is bright and cheerfully decorated and clean. Never smelled like most memory care facilities and was NOT covered up by air fresheners. The food is almost all homemade on site and delicious. The staff is caring and responsive to your loved one. Unfortunately for mom, they had problems with Comcast and TV was not hooked up her entire time there so she was miserable when not eating or sleeping because of lack of promised activities. I also had a problem with mom Not getting her medicine and vitamins as specified. They also over charged her credit card and I am having to file complaint with my bank as they will not correct the amount due to having multiple layers of authorization to get it done.

My husband has been a resident for 7 months, and it's fantastic! Serenades is clean, respectful, and exactly what he needs. The staff are wonderful, and I joined my husband today for a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner prepared by Stephanie Perry, Food Svcs Director, and crew. I am so pleased with everyone.

*The facility is well maintained * Decor is pleasing and the repainting and freshening up of Adagio (all female) neighborhood is bright and cheery * Courtyard is well maintained with lots of seating * Security is excellent * Front office including Barrett, Alyssa, Lucy and Peggy are confident and a pleasure to work with * Dennis is pulled in many directions and goes above and beyond (and always smiling ) * Wellness director Brenda and her staff are professional, caring and report any changes of resident’s condition to family * Wide variety of entertainment thanks to Lifestyle director Brittney, who also assists staff whenever and wherever she can and cares for my mom like family * Resident’s caregiver (family member(s)) are given direct key access 24/7 * Mom’s room is spacious, light and airy with two large windows overlooking a courtyard * Mom likes it here, loves the staff and the food (thank you Stephanie), and has made many friends

This is honestly a very warming, loving, and caring facility. I have always been greeted with smiles and kind words. The staff at Serenade’s are more like family to one another and they all seem to have a special bond with the residents. You can tell they truly care at Serenade’s.

The Activities Director, Brittney is awesome! They offer different and fun activities through out the day. She defiantly puts her all into her job not only with the residents, but also the staff. I would defiantly pick Serenades at the Villages.

Serenades is a warm and welcoming environment for family and friends in need of memory care or hospice. The staff is friendly, caring and attentive to the residents. Activities including music performances, art, and a manicurist keep everyone busy! Having friends at Serenades is a happy experience!

My husband, John, has been a resident at Serenades at the Villages for 3 years. This is his home now and in my heart I know that he is as happy here as possible for a person suffering from Lewy Body Dementia. The staff is loving and caring to the residents and their family members. The front office is always ready to help us out when we have a question or issue (Alissa, Michelle, Lucy, Tina, Louise and Peggy). I feel like I can talk to them about anything without being judged. Keep up the good work all of you! You will always be in my heart! The CNAs who care for John are loving and kind, you can tell he loves them by the way his eyes light up when he sees them. Fortunately or Unfortunately, he is at the end of his journey with this terrible disease. I can't say enough good things about this facility!

Michelle Lewis is an excellent person who really cares about her clients, this is evident in the amount of time she spends trying to fit the clients needs. She drilled down far enough to understand and talk about our situation. When placing a parent in a facility, this is hard enough, but Michelle gives you the comfort necessary to feel that they will be taken care of. She offered expert advice and recommendations, Serenades is lucky to have her.

My suggestion to this facility is in this time of uncertainty that we aren’t able to see loved ones due to this pandemic. Why aren’t you able to set up FaceTime, or Skype? We want to see family members! You are not accommodating!
