Sweet, homey, clean, caring staff, great food! My friend is happy & content in his apartment, has made lots of friends. Can’t say enough good things about the staff - they are a great team - caring, helpful, friendly. Just the right size, nice outdoor courtyard & screened porch. This place has been a lifesaver!

Staff is attentive and polite. Older carpets pulled up and new flooring in facility giving a fresh clean look. Staff is so well rounded in responsibilities that you feel like you could ask almost anyone and get the answer you need. Convenient location just off the highway with quick access to stores and restaurants.

I stopped by The Opal after I was stood up by another facility that I had an appointment with. I thought that I would just be able to get a brochure and make an appointment. Well no, the simply amazing staff went out of their way to not only provide me with information AND a tour of the facility all while they were shorthanded with the Director being out sick AND the fire alarm going haywire! I was so surprised that they treated me so well. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and enjoyed meeting and speaking with the residents where it is apparent that they are well taken care if and most importantly HAPPY. This place is amazing! Taquandra was so extremely helpful and accommodating; there were financial concerns that we had but she worked with us until we were all happy. The staff is so sweet and kind. They made my mom feel so welcome and she loves it there! I highly recommend Opal on Hermitage for anyone looking to have their loved ones looked after and cared for.

My mom moved in about three months ago to OPAL on Hermitage, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she’s receiving. The nurses are wonderful, and the staff”along with the administration”have been so patient and helpful, making the transition from home to assisted living as smooth as possible. The facility is very clean, the food is great, and communication with me has been excellent. They treat her with kindness and patience, even on her more difficult days. Highly recommend!

Brookdale Hermitage Boulevard has been Home for my mom, now 98, since the day she moved in. She has thrived there, and smilingly calls it her home when our extended family visit and ask her how she's doing. Mom has resided in two other facilities; The staff at BHB not only meets my hopes and expectations for making Mom feel safe, comfortable, cared for, heard, and appreciated, they continually exceed them. Excellent facility. The facility is clean. All staff has been excellent from the DO to the RA. The nurses are great. The food is exceptional as well. I would recommend if you need independent care or assisted living that you check this one out first. Great job staff.

Energetic, helpful staff. There has been good communication with our family about our parents. Potential problems and issues are quickly communicated and attended to. Great security, nice little garden, covered back porch, and pet-friendly, which has been a real positive for our mom.

My mother is doing fantastic at this community. I'am very pleased with everything they have done for us. The community looks great. Every time I've visit everything is very nice and clean, and also her room is well maintained. They have a lovely staff, they are very friendly and caring. The maintenance guy is very kind and responsive. They have great activities for the residents. The meals are nice. I know she is being cared for well. I would highly recommend this community.
