I've been an RN for 30 years and have worked with geriatric patients primarily for the last half of my career, so I tend to have high standards when it comes to endorsing good care for those I love. We moved my family member into Ivy Ridge a month ago on the recommendation of a friend and neighbor who had their mother there for 2.5 years and the only regret we have is that we didn't do it sooner! The staff is engaged, caring, communicative, and professional. They made us feel welcome from day 1. We feel we can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing our loved one is safe and cared for. We can actually enjoy our visits instead of worrying or feeling inadequate. Most importantly, our family member seems happier and more content than they have been in a very long time. If your loved one needs memory care, look no further.

Being over 2000 miles away & needing to place my brother & his wife in memory care was difficult to say the least, however, we were given a glowing recommendation about Inspired Living Ivy Ridge. There are not enough words to convey the peace of mind this place has given us! The employees have become more like family. They keep us informed & genuinely care about my brother & his wife. Inspired Living is a beautiful home and you can tell the staff really love the residents. It's very clean and has beautiful outdoor areas, which are not usually freely accessible in memory care places. Chantal is a really warm and caring soul and cares deeply for the residents and their families!

I cannot say enough good things about Inspired Living Ivy Ridge. My mom has been battling dementia for 7 years and had a series of mini strokes that made it unable to care for her at home. She was transferred to rehab after the strokes, where she declined very rapidly. She was not able to walk, not able to feed herself. We moved her yesterday to Ivy Ridge. In LESS than 24 hours, she is walking on her own, completely feeding herself, and an entirely different person. She just said to me "this place is so peaceful and quiet. It makes me sleepy and happy." I can't put into words the peace of mind that I have with Mom being here. A huge thank you especially to Chantal for making the incredibly difficult process as painless as possible. – the nursing staff, Wellness directors, and everyone right down to the receptionist are top notch.

I moved my mom into Inspired Living after a bad experience at a previous home. It was the best decision I could have made. The staff is so caring and present, my mom is happy and adjusting, and I sleep at night knowing she is safe.

Today, 04/19/21, I met with these individuals in the following order: Administrative/Receptionist, Executive Director, Health and Wellness Director. Each one, in their particular position, were key to learning answers to my inquires for my friend as her Health Surrogate. Each, no matter the amount of time, as professionals gave undivided attention to each inquiry. Questions were asked by them, to completely understand my thoughts. In essence we communicated with one another. Hopefully they found me in support of their efforts as I felt they were for mine.

My grandmother is a resident… She just turned 102 years old today and the staff there had a huge party for her… Was very impressed with them in comparison to where she was last year.. No comparison.. Would recommend this place..

We are thrilled with how much our parents are loved by the staff!! They seem to work well as a team and are quick to help each other. The administrators are very supportive of the staff and they are out on the floor working hard alongside the staff. Many of the staff are extremely attentive to my parents. Leslie, Hannah, Nicole, Denise and many others go out of their way to make sure their needs are met, but they also go above and beyond to offer tender loving care, as well. We are so thankful for the staff at Inspired Living Ivy Ridge.

Everyone is so attentive. The director cares for the residents as if they were her family. I have seen her pitch in and do anything a resident needs. That is one of the things that makes this a special place for loved ones.

I felt you needed to know a little background to understand why I choose Ivy Ridge for my stepfather whose Alzheimers got much worse in May 2020. He was living in South Carolina, so we brought him to St. Petersburg. It was devastating to me that I could not take care of him (he constantly would try to leave and even with alarms on the door he would get out), so I had to find a facility. I researched 14 facilities (yes 14!) in the St. Petersburg area. There were facilities that have independent living, assisted living and memory care. Some have all three, or two or one of these. A facility that only handles memory care is best. Facilities that have independent and assisted living tend to put emphasis on those two areas at the expense of memory care.I looked at the distance from our home, size of the rooms, type of meals, laundry services, room cleaning, staff ratio to residents, activities, amenities, and security. Cost is another big factor! Some places nickel and dime you; others are straight forward like Ivy Ridge. I felt that cleanliness and nutrition were important, but most important to me was the staff and how they treated their residents. With COVID-19, not one facility would let me visit. I had to use research from other sources. I made calls to other facilities, calls to family members who had their love ones in various places, and internet research. I drove to the top five facilities and talked to people that were around to include employees and family members entering and leaving to find out how they liked the facility. Everyone was very forthcoming. Finally, I narrowed my research to two facilities—Grande Villa and Ivy Ridge. I choose Ivy Ridge.My father went to Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge on June 22. The transition for him was smooth, and Ivy Ridge kindly sent me pictures constantly, so I could see how he was doing. In the six months my father has been at Ivy Ridge I realized firsthand how well run it is. I would like to highlight the Executive Director, Leslie Edwards. She is a hands-on director. She makes a tremendous effort to ensure the residents are safe, comfortable, and happy. Ivy Ridge has great daily routines, i.e., breakfast, lunch, dinner, creative activities, and free time. Residents can go to their room at any time, a big plus. The staff is constantly uplifting and positive. They are very generous with their affection and hugs too. My father has been there over six months. He loves the food, and he is safe and happy. I could not imagine where he could get better care. I strongly recommend the Ivy Ridge facility.Since my father has been at Ivy Ridge, there are two families that moved their loved one to Ivy Ridge from other facilities and both families explained to me why they changed and how they have loved having them at Ivy Ridge. I was so glad that I had picked the best location the first time!

My mother has been a resident at Ivy Ridge for over 4 years and I cant speak highly enough about this community. Theyve taken such wonderful care of her, even during this pandemic. The caregivers treat the residents like they were their own parents.(In fact, the staff calls her Grandma as she is their oldest resident.) They treat her with such respect, dignity and love. The activities are great and fun, their food is very nutritional, the facility is always clean and kept safe. They have three beautiful outside areas that are completely protected and safe for the residents to roam, while the staff keeps a close eye on them.. The entire staff is very professional and caring and we thank them for taking such wonderful care of her. Compared to other facilities we visited, Ivy Ridge far exceeds all others in every avenue. As an added note to their love for their residents and community, they have had fewer COVID cases than all other facilities in our County.

The process was run so efficiently and smoothly that everyone was completed in a quick and orderly fashion. When were looking for a place for my 95-year old mother, Ivy Ridge was highly recommended to me by outside sources. As I was 500 miles away, I heavily relied on Ivy Ridge and was not disappointed. Everyone I have had contact with, at every level, have been helpful and professional. If you are looking for a residence for a family member, you should consider Inspired Living Ivy Ridge!

My sister, Phyllis developed dementia as a result of a brain aneurysm, and we found Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge as a new home for her. She has been surrounded by loving care with lots of stimulating activities. I have found the staff to be very responsive to not only her needs but mine as her caregiver as well. This facility is head and shoulders above any of the others we investigated, and I highly recommend Ivy Ridge!

Next month will be 4 years that my Mom, Edna has been a resident. She has been so happy here! They take excellent care of her and appreciate her as an individual. One day she said to me, I like it here- nobody makes me do anything I dont want to do. There are so many activities and residents can choose which to participate in. They are always treated with dignity, respect and LOVE. Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge has been a God send for my mother and the rest of the family because we are confident she is in competent, caring hands. Thank you for all you do!

This is one of the nicest cleanest facilities i meet wit there nursing director annmarie who gave me a tour.it was very clean and active. All of the staff was so nice and professional she addressed all my questions i was even introduced to a few of the residents who told me how much they love it there that the staff is so careing professional i am very pleased to see how active clean professional of a facilitie it is and how dedicated the nursing director was to making sure the residents were ok happy. She made it a delightful experience i will definitely recommend this facilitie to others.

When my mom began showing signs of dementia I began looking at all the Assisted Living Facilities in the area. Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge was one of them. I liked the appearances inside and out. The staff were all very friendly. The residents were all engaged in group activity, their own thing or one on one with an aid. When it came time to place mom in a home I reviewed all the facilities I had researched prior. Inspired living was at the top in all aspects of the process. Mom has been there a year now and is doing very well. They keep her busy all day long with engaging activities. She is very happy there. The staff there have made my sisters and I feel more at ease with having to place mom in a home. I sleep well at night knowing mom is being treated well and with dignity. Its a good feeling to have when you see people liking their job and wanting to be there. If there are any issues they handle them right away and with great satisfactory. Always when I go to see my mom she is enjoying herself. I know that dealing with my mom can be trying. Everyone there has always been respectful to her and treated her with kindness. Best experience I could have asked for!

The care and compassion here can only be accurately compared to being at home. the atmosphere is warm and family oriented, the staff go above and beyond to make such a difficult transition as comfortable as possible. I am a new employee and i have to say, with my 15 years of experience in this field i have seen MANY MANY MANY different communities and facilities (skilled nursing and ALF`s) and i have to say Inspired Living IVY ridge is absolutely amazing. I have been BLOWN away by the staff , families and residents!!!!!!! From the home office, CEO, CPO, COO ,CFO and onto my ED Lauren Phillips, i have been welcomed and treated so wonderfully. I see every new and potential resident and family come in smiling and leaving with a smile! I am the happiest i have EVER been!!! If i knew of this wonderful community when i was caring for my Grandmother who suffered from Vascular dementia, i would have had her here!!!

Ivy Ridge is 1 of the nicest memory care places in the area. It is a very clean building with lots of activities going on. The staff there do a great job of taking care of seniors. I have no doubt that the people who live there are taken care of and treated as they should be. As I look on Facebook and when Im there I see so much fun happening with smiling faces all over the place. Overall very happy with Ivy Ridge and Validus.

Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge is absolutely the most wonderful facility. I visited from out of town to tour for my mother who has dementia. The staff was so wonderful. I was invited to stay for lunch and the food was absolutely amazing - everything was fresh. I also observed the caregivers and their involvement with the residents. They are truly caring people. The residents were involved in activities throughout the day. I cant say enough and if I lived in the area, this is the place I would chose for my mother.

this is clearly a response to the negative review by Jim. I have great familiarity with Ivy ridge and it is workers. it is a great place to work and take care of elderly. Dont be alarmed by bitter people. I am amazed when people who are fired have much to gripe about afterwards. Im told Jim was inappropriate by either swearing at staff and guests or making sexual comments. So in my opinion it was a little late but a good move nevertheless . That community is going to be better without you. the people that work there are happy and will be better.

Making arrangements for my dad to be cared for at Ivy Ridge went smoothly and I was treated very well in the process. We were impressed with the facilities beauty, cleanliness and organization upon admitting my dad. There chef must be really good as my dad really enjoyed his meals from the start and the nurses kept in touch with me as to any issues. It was sad and unfortunate that my dads stay was very short, Ivy Ridge was more than fair in all that took place. I recommend Ivy Ridge for others that are in need of a memory care facility.

ALL of the staff including housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance and front desk along with care staff are well trained in ALZ and genuinely care about each resident. They have fun daily activities and outings. Thanks to Sherris bubbly personality, she gets every resident involved and excited to join in. The food is delicious and something tastey for even the pickiest eater. I couldnt have found a better place for mom....and me. Thank you Ivy Ridge!

I just have to take a minute to say that Ivy Ridge is an amazing place to hang out. I have been doing music for entertainment there for a few years now and the staff is just amazing with the residents. It is one of the warmest places we play. The residents are always happy and attended to. They are encouraged to participate with kindness and compassion. The program director is one of the sweetest people I know and it is easy to see that her heart is in what she does. she has done and excellent job training others to love what they do and do what they love. I have not seen one staff person there that seems to be just doing their job. They all seem to be doing what they love! I am proud to be a small part of this amazing place!
