I cannot say enough positive comments about this facility. Having a family member transition is always hard on both the one changing from independent assisted living to memory care assisted living. The staff is amazing, they truly treat my Mom like she is their own, making sure her initial nights went well and were so patient with her. If you are looking for a safe and caring environment this is the place. I really could not ask for a better blessing for my Mom as I know she is in the best hands.

Used to be a great place, but has new management (admin and nurse director ) and it's gone down hill. The management staff are close friends so staff and resident issues don't get resolved. They try or tell you that they did such and such, but imagine a manager who is friends with their co-worker- are they really going to have any pull to make change happen? Nope. And management who isn't hard enough with slacking caregivers (and best friends with some) to weed them out or put them on leave with no pay for poor care of residents. The staff-to-resident ratio is at the state's bare minimum with only 2 caregivers on at night for 60 ALF residents. The turnover is high, and agencies are always filling in which is awful for dementia residents which half of them are. On top of this, they have care givers who have no business being care givers due to the behaviors and abuse (leaving elders soaking wet, talking back to others, laziness, complaining and fighting in front of residents etc etc), and all they get is a slap on the hand instead of being put on leave or asked to depart from the company. If you have a loved one here, monitor it closely at various times including nights and move your elder out. This place went from wondeful to mediocre and all they are doing is cutting costs while still collecting 4K plus per month AND be on the look out for false employee and their family members reviews on Google. Kim Hardesty is related to the Administrator Jackie Hardesty, Jacqueline Earp IS the former name of Jackie Hardesty, and Kimberly V is a Med tech employee of Bon secours all in cahoots with the management. BEWARE. The reviews you read here are false and being placed by employees who are putting their jobs at risk.

It's a very nice facility. The best that I know about in Pinellas County. What makes this place so special is that the employees seem to genuinely care about the residents. They see my mom as a human being when other places have not. The set up is nice too. There are mini-communities within the building so it isn't scary or overwhelming to residents.

This place is very resident oriented. I have worked for Bon Secours for 14+ years. It is a faith based company and staff go above and beyond for the resident's that live here. I had a family member next door at Bon Secours Maria Manor for a year. I was very happy with the care that she received while she lived out her last days there.
