I work here as an RN. I have worked at 20 Skilled Nursing Facilities in Pinellas, & this is one of the best. It is a continuing care community with independent & assisted living, and rehab & memory care. It's expensive if u want to live here. The food is good, compared to other facilities.

While the entire staff at Freedom Rehab and now Assisted Living has been terrific, I would like to echo the comments regarding the superb guidance and responsiveness of Eric Kane. Eric has followed up and responded to every request and question that we have had regarding our family members transfer to Freedom Rehab and now Freedom's Assisted Living facility. In addition to convincing us that Freedom is the best place for our family member, he spent the time getting to know our family member, earning her respect and admiration for Freedom Square. Erik is an incredible asset for Freedom Square and our family. Thank you Eric!!

I came to visit a friend and it was my first visit to Freedom Square. I was so impressed! The facility is attractive and very clean. There were several common areas for residents to go to. The dining room was beautiful! In addition to the physical facility, the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Freedom Square.

Eric Kane is the SUPERSTAR, of Freedom Square. It took about 9 weeks from my first immersive tour set up by Eric to finally get my Dad in residence at your beautiful facility on Monday. Now that my Dad is in residence, he couldn't be happier. Eric provided my sister, my dad and me stellar service in every aspect, from educating us about Freedom Square, helping us with the paperwork and insurance forms, then walking us through the move-in process, all without a hitch. Eric has been so friendly that he feels like an true family member. HIs care and concern for my Dad has been over the top. I hope Eric sticks with us while my Dad is in residence at Freedom Square. I recommend Eric and Freedom Square to anyone looking for a warm caring residence for a loved one.

I visit my mom often at Freedom Square ALF. and I've come to know quite a number of the staff. I honestly feel they care about Mom and want to keep her comfortable and happy. For instance, I couldn't be there on her birthday because I was sick. It made me feel better later in the day, though, when Eric Kane sent me a photo of Mom smiling a huge smile (she just loves him: if anyone can get her to smile, it's Eric.). He has been a superstar in my eyes since day One of our experience at Freedom Square. This is just one example. There are plenty of others I could give. Odian, Erna, Theresa, Heidi, Gracie, Alesia, Devon, Ashley, Sara, Melissa and all you others who love Mom… Thank You!

One of the hardest things I think as a family, is to decide when the time is right to put a loved one in an assisted living facility or memory care. I cannot say enough about Freedom Square of Seminole, FL…Eric Kane, Sales & Marketing Manager at Freedom Square made that decision so easy for us. He not only was knowledgeable, understanding, and sensitive to our needs for our mom, he went above and beyond to answer ALL our questions and made us feel comfortable (mom included) with this new environment and journey she was about to embark on. We had taken tours and spoke with other facilities and Eric even encouraged us to do that. In the end, we came back to Freedom Square and Eric Kane. We trusted him & this facility to give our mom the BEST CARE possible. The tour he gave us was so thorough from showing us all around, knowing all the residents, the staff, daily activities, even to the movers who could help us move our mom in. He guided us every step of the way, taking the stress and worry out of this whole process. Our mom is very happy and loves her new home. I cannot say enough about how wonderful her nurses and aids are. I can text or call Eric anytime day or night, and I have the comfort of knowing he will respond or take care of whatever the matter or question is concerning our mom. That peace of mind that Eric Kane gave us is what made Freedom Square of Seminole our final choice for our mom's home and care.

What a fantastic place! Freedom Square is nice in so many ways. Looks new. Nice staff. Nice people which to me, means they're happy. I'm actually a mover and have moved people into a lot of assisted living communities, but this one is the best I've seen. Vicki Mandeville coordinated with KRB Move Management and it went so very smooth. She even had sandwiches and drinks for all of us who helped get it done.

My Mother is here as a rehab patient after Hip and Shoulder replacement. I'm not real happy with the facilities, staff is good but it was a miserable visit. No A/C in her room. TV not working properly ect.

I am extremely pleased with FS assisted living and it's exceptional staff. From the get go, I knew my mother was going to be in good hands. Eric K (who is such a kind and caring individual) answered all of my questions before I could ask him. He treats everyone there as if they were his family. And that's a bonus in my book. I, unfortunately, don't know the names of everyone that has been involved with taking care of and helping my mom, but each and every one of them is fantastic. They makes sure she's taking her meds, dressing and eating. And the facility itself is a great place to live. There is always some sort of activity or entertainment, which keeps the residents occupied and social. They also have a nice outside village with a small restaurant, hair salon and Drs offices. There is also a lovely pond with ducks and Bella, the black swan. All in all, FS is an amazing facility with a kind and compassionate staff. I know my mother is safe and happy.

Difficulty locating bldg. Hallway carpet in the SNF has stains and should be cleaned. Slight odor needs to be addressed. Guests and visitors need to be reminded to gel…hand sanitize…in and out of rooms.

Almost 3 months ago I visited Freedom Square. Merrilyn Toener was my contact. From the very first I new I was going to like this place. Merrilyn was so gracious and showed me everything they do for the residents here. It is amazing! I was at home the minute I walked in. The day I moved in there was food, drinks, snacks, everything you would need to get started. She and Emily contacted my children who were handling this move for me. My children were so impressed with the help and information they were given. They help you move in! They help you unpack and move furniture around! They see to every need you have. Everyone that's works here is like they work just for you. They are so friendly and make sure you have all your needs taken care of I could not be happier! I love it here!! Merrilyn and Emily are top notch. Make an appointment and see for yourself. You will be amazed!

My mom has lived in Freedom Square for the last 6 years and loves living there. Her favorite is being a part of the community there. They all take care of each other, watch out for each other and socialize together. Mom stays very active on a daily basis with all the activities they offer. She likes eating in the dining room and having her place cleaned weekly and deep cleaned twice a year. I like the fact that she gets transportation to the doctor offices and stores for shopping. She takes part in committees that give residents a say in daily operations, the staff are approachable and treat the residents with kindness. I like that a nurse is available for visits and that they can supply private duty care if mom should ever need it. But I think the most important part of mom living at Freedom Square for both her and me is that she feels SAFE there and knows that she will be taken care for what ever her needs are. Our family members have now been in assisted living at Freedom Square for four months. From the day we started the interview process until today, we have only positive things to say. Every department made sure to introduce itself on the day they moved in. The activities director has made sure they get involved in as many activities as possible. The nursing staff is on top of all of their medications and have assisted us in locating new doctors for them. My brother-in-law is actually eating breakfast which he had been refusing to do prior to the move. That is definitely a win on the staff's part for encouraging food he likes. We would definitely choose Freedom Square again....and we interviewed many ALF's before making a decision.

I love living in Freedom Square. This is a beautiful 13 acre campus which includes Independent Living, Memory Care, Assisted Living and Nursing Care. Cement walking paths run through the campus with plenty of benches to relax and enjoy the lovely landscaping. The entire staff and residents are friendly and kind. We are truly just a big family. There are too many activities each day to list. Many of these are lead by volunteers. The Community Life Services run many fun activities each week. They also set up monthly bus trips to events, restaurants, etc. The food here is restaurant quality with a great menu. The are many types of apartments to choose from. The rooms are large with good storage. Living at Freedom Square is an investment in the quality of your life. Please don't wait to come here. This is a wonderful family with positive attitudes!!

I started searching for a Continuous Care Retirement Community several months ago for my husband and myself. When I reached out to Freedom Square I was introduced to Terri Nearmyer who guided me through the entire process. Her patience and understanding of every step of the way in coordinating our journey from Texas to Florida was made effortlessly by Terri arranging my guest stay for 3 days to experience the lifestyle and wonderful staff and residents. I explored all levels of care and was completely astonished at the clean facilities and the dignity and respect they gave the residents care. Once we made the best decision ever to become independent residents at Freedom Square, I was introduced to Emily Bohlen, the Experience Manager. She took the helm from Terri, and guided me through the paperwork and Contract process. She also has been my liaison through the process of sending my husband traveling from Texas to Florida first and being sure his transportation was there on time to pick him up at the Amtrak depot, providing him a guestroom stay, until the movers arrived the next day. Emily greeted him and gave him personal tour and guidance until he settled into the guest room. Between Terri and Emily, I could not have asked for better representation and friendly service. There was never a speed bump to large for either of them to get us down the right path. The facility is a beautiful campus, friendly staff, helpful in every way, and the food is delicious. Please contact Terri or Emily with any question's you may have or concerns, and you will never regret your decision. These to wonderful ladies run the show, and get things done in a very expedient way. I am so looking forward to joining the Freedom Square Family and my husband once I close escrow here in Texas!
