My siblings and I recently moved our parents into the Lilac Trace Memory Care unit at Somerby Santa Rosa Beach. The small size, and the physical "V" setup of the two hallways (with the placement of the staff offices at the point of the V) enables residents to easily find assistance, and provides the staff easy view of each resident's doorway. Undaunted by our family situation, including no in-state family members, they took on a married couple, both of whom have dementia. The management team went the extra mile, and more, to meet a very tight timeframe for assessment and move-in. Somerby at Santa Rosa Beach has two different physicians that come in weekly to provide onsite care, and my parents will also have access to a pysch nurse who can monitor their reactions to any meds they may need to take for their conditions. Our family appreciates the updates we receive, both informal ones and the periodic health and service assessments. The staff members have all displayed compassion and flexibility in a way that makes us confident that each of our parents will receive the kind of individualized care they require.

In the early phases of selecting Somerby Santa Rosa's assisted living facility as a new home, Colleen shared her extensive knowledge of customer needs and how assisted living communities in general address those needs. She shared in detail how Somerby in particular seeks to exceed expectations. In the end Colleen's knowledge, customer focus and confidence in Somerby made our decision easy. Colleen is an impressive marketing professional, but her standout skill is her continued follow-up.

Somerby is a first class assisted living facility in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. We moved my father in 3 months ago. Colleen made my father's birthday extra special by getting a cake and balloons. She is very professional , caring and knowledgeable and makes the residents feel extra special. She has made this transition time easier for my family.

Norma has been a resident at Somerby for about 18 months. We had not realized how isolated she was at home with us. She has become a new person because of the socialization and caring she receives on a daily basis. We could not have asked or prayed for a better place for her to call home. her sons appreciate everyone that assists her. The staff is phenomenal.

I have lived in the area for many years and didn't realize what an amazing senior care facility we have in this area. The staff is so loving and gracious to our family member and every time I visit he reminds me how great they are. The food is excellent and there is nothing greater than seeing your loved one happy and cared for. Tonya and all the staff at Somerby are accessible well knowledged and extremely great! We feel blessed to have a such a place!

I’ve worked in the engineering department at Somerby Santa Rosa Beach for about a year and a half. I have always enjoyed working here, for it was a new challenge for me to learn a new set of skills. I have enjoyed all who I have worked along side and my superiors. Now under a new management team from when I first started, I would say it is better than ever. The work here is simple, take care of the residents. Whereas this is a place of business this is also someone’s home and those considering Somerby should know we are prepared to treat it as such. A home. Everyday I build closer relationships with the employees and residents. Overtime we have all just become one giant extended family full of many different backgrounds and minds. Somerby is the right choice for anybody looking to take that next step with their loved ones.

I recently went on tour here and staff was very professional, friendly and seemed to really love attending to the residents. The Senior Director even took time to show us around as well! There always seems to be a fun and creative activity going on to keep everyone entertained and stimulated. I enjoyed seeing how happy the residents looked. I also appreciated how clean and spacious the building and rooms were too; not a bit of dust in site! You can tell this team really cares, gives it their all and more. I'm nowhere near retirement but I would definitely stay at Somerby at Santa Rosa Beach! Way to go team!!

Yes, I love my job! I have been with Somerby Santa Rosa Beach since the day we accepted our very first resident. I started as Concierge and over the years Somerby has propelled me into a career and industry that I love. Management has helped me climb my way to the Business Office Director role and I am forever grateful for the opportunity. Somerby is a close knit family of residents and co-workers. I am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with all of my dedicated co-workers. The best part of Somerby is everyday I get to serve a generation of residents that are rich with life. Somedays its hard to call this a job but rather a blessing! Whether you are looking for a fulfilling career or a devoted assisted living for your loved one, Somerby is THE place.

Somerby in Santa Rosa Beach is a piece of Heaven on Earth - like a little preview of eternity for residents ! My 85 yr old mother-in-law came to stay with us for an extended visit from Massachusetts. Not seriously considering an assisted living, we called and visited...We were SO in AWE at the luxury, fresh-clean tiptop shape, the love and kindness of the staff, the attentiveness to the residents, and MOST importantly, the RESIDENTS are SUPER HAPPY and having a blast with their family of friends. I visit several times a week because of the happy residents. (Husband and I (mid 50s) considered moving mom back in our home, and take her apartment for a while. LOL)

Two years ago I told my children that I was ready to move. Within five days they moved me to Somerby with my favorite things from my old home. I love my Somerby apartment. Its truly my home. But Somerby isnt just about the homes or things. Its more about feeling safe and loved. One young server gives me quick kiss on the back of my shoulder as she serves my food. All of the servers and the CNAs who look after us, answering our calls treat us like family. More love comes from the nurses and those sweet ones who wash our laundry and and clean our rooms. Im convinced that members of our staff and the ones who work at the front desk think of the residents as family. At Somerby of Santa Rosa Beach residents feel the love every day.
