Mom lived at Brookdale until her dementia required a higher level of care. Most of the staff was wonderful. Recently, I requested records for an annual guardianship report. Beverly was not helpful and not friendly. She told me they’d have to speak to their legal department. No one ever called back. Having such awful communications and dealing with that ugliness makes a difficult tough situation so much harder. I am thankful that the staff at the new facility is so helpful snd informative regarding mom’s care.

I visited this facility today and I am very impressed! I did a full tour. I spoke with Joyce at the front door. Incredibly warm and friendly person! I spent over an hour here and had time to really get a good idea of the place. During the tour, I took note of the staff that was caring for the elderly individuals. What I saw solidified that everyone in this establishment has their hearts in it. You can see nurses kneeling down to the sides of residents smiling and being kind. Helping them with all the day to day tasks, making their lives easier. I didn't get to just see it out of the corner of my eyes. I got to interact with the residents. Not. a. single. one was unhappy! One couple got married there last week!!! I wouldn't hesitate for a SECOND to put my loved ones in this facility. Management is exceptionally friendly and the staff, wow you can really tell that their heart and focus is all about the well being of the residents. Very heart warming experience and very comforting to know where my loved ones will be. Thank you so much for all that you guys are doing!

My mom lived at Brookdale Bluewater Bay for 2 years. She enjoyed living there and was made to feel like family. She participated in the many activities offered when she could and loved her new environment. The staff is incredible, showing her the same loving care as I would. I was updated consistently on all her care needs and enjoyed the many stories the staff would share with me on the different things mom had said or did when I was not there. I truly believe this is the answer to the many needs we face as our parents age and still want independence in their daily life. During moms last days on earth the staff comforted me and made sure I was not sitting alone while I waited for her to pass. This is truly a place where angels reside and care for our loved ones. I could never thank them enough.
