I recently toured with the owner nurse, she has 2 locations in Riverview. I was so impressed with the comfort home-like setting the seniors get in these homes. The least I can do is leave them a nice review and a good recommendation. I am currently on their wait list for my family member.

Recognizing you need help taking care of mom is never easy. Even more challenging is finding the right facility. We feel fortunate to have found Dorothy Cares ALF. The staff is professional, well trained and compassionate. They show mom unfailing kindness. Also, Dorothy is a very engaged owner, who is hands-on and has her finger on the pulse at all times. She also has a tremendous background to ensure professional and compassionate care for all of her residents. Equally important Dorothy is easy to reach, responsive to any calls or texts and is an excellent communicator. We sleep easier knowing mom is getting such good care.

When you place an elderly parent into a home health care facility, you hope for the basics; cleanliness, nutritious meals, timely meds monitoring, and a friendly staff that help create that resting comfortably, stress-free environment. Dorothy Cares, AFL, LLC and her staff provide all of these essentials and so much more. We recently celebrated my mom's 92nd birthday, with all of her new friends (residents) and there was such a special honoring of her that she was beaming the next day when we returned. Whenever we visit, she is always smiling and happy to share about her meals and any news from the day. It is a gut-wrenching experience to put a parent into a home, but with Dorothy Cares, it helped to ease the pain and the guilt that naturally comes with such a decision. A huge thank you to Dorothy and the amazing care givers that are so amazing with their loving support and patience.

After taking care of my mom for 12 years I was hesitant about placing her in an ALF. I could not be happier with my decision to place her with Dorothy Cares, ALF. Dorothy and her staff treat her like family with loving care. The facility is immaculate and my mom is very happy there. I can rest peacefully knowing she is in such good hands. I am blessed to have found Dorothy!

Dorothy is a true angel!! I had called to obtain information about the assisted living facility for my mom. Although she didn’t have an opening she was super informative, helped me with my questions and followed up returning my calls quickly. Dorothy definitely cares about helping others!!
