We are so impressed with Harbor Place! My father-in-law has lived there for three years now, and it has been such a great home for him. He has a network of friends and staff who all look out for one another. Most of the staff that were there when he moved in still work there and truly seem to enjoy their jobs. Harbor Place is a positive, happy place and even though we are just visitors, we are treated as part of the Harbor Place family.

My mother has been in independent living at Harbor Place for just over 5 years. At age 97 I now find I must move her to a facility that offers memory care. For the last few years, my mother’s memory has been failing. Harbor Place, their management, their staff and residents have always been the kindest and most helpful as my mother has needed increased assistance. My parents resided as a couple in the independent area of Harbor Place for two years. I can’t say enough positive things about this residence. My parents were treated with dignity and respect during a difficult time in which my mom declined both physically and mentally. Everything they needed was provided, including positive support from the employees. The food is good and the activities are plenty full. You will not be disappointed. It’s spacious with room to Rome and many areas to sit and relax. Unfortunately, due to mom’s steady and fast decline I needed to move them closer to where I live so I could be of more help. Thank you you have a place.

I am incredibly impressed with Harbor Place and the level of care they provide. From the moment we toured the facility, it was clear that the staff is dedicated to ensuring the residents are comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. The environment is warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The staff is attentive, compassionate, and always available to answer questions or address concerns. My loved one feels safe and valued here, and it's a great comfort knowing they are in such capable hands. The wide variety of activities and the emphasis on health and wellness is also a huge plus. I have had the pleasure of taking care of patients at Harbor Place of Port Saint Lucie for the last 8 years. I see firsthand the heart and soul that is poured into every resident. I have had the honor of working with the best administration team, past and present. Absolutely stunning place! As you walk in beautiful dining room and library ! I was greeted by Angela. She was so helpful and kind in a time where Pieces are moving fast and you’re very nervous with life decisions for your family. I went to visit my uncle in assisted living today. I love this place (and so does he). The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door until I left. The resident care director, Angie) is very impressive, caring and kind. I am so happy he is here! This is a place I would go myself if I lived here! We have been so relieved to have my mom live there. It is a safe, clean place run by very nice and caring ppl. In particular Bethany Hammock and Sincia, at the front desk are really really awesome. Bethany wears many hats. Many. But she always has a smile on her face. She needs help and I hope corporate hears her and gets her some assistance. I don’t want her to leave.

I weighed several non-negotiable factors when choosing an assisted living facility, including safety; compassionate, skilled, and reliable staff; cleanliness; and a pleasant environment. Harbor Place met those requirements. During the two years my mother has lived there, she’s had some medical challenges and her health has become more fragile. But not only has Harbor been a safe space for her, those initial requirements are still being met. The common areas ” a spacious outdoor patio, library, 2nd- and 3rd-floor sitting rooms, activity room ” allow residents to socialize or observe in comfort, an important factor in their quality of life. Communications are satisfactory and in emergency situations, medical or management staff are quick to provide information. When occasional missteps are made, it’s been my experience that they’re quickly corrected. More often, however, I’ve seen extraordinary and unexpected examples of simple kindnesses, and I’m reminded of how a thoughtful gesture or quick hug can brighten your day. I wish I could list the name of each staff member who has provided generous, considerate service and support when we needed it most, but there are too many. I hope they know how grateful I am. I put a lot of thought into choosing this facility and had high expectations. After two years, I’m glad to say that it seems like I made the right choice.

We loved Harbor Place (HP) assisted living since the first time we visited it for my 92 yo mother. It felt homey, relaxed, safe, and Pat Miles, the Sales Director, greeted all the residents by name and they greeted her in response. We did not get that same vibe when we visited other assisted living facilities in the area. The concierge staff, Anna, Judy, & Jerry (who is also the pastor & assisted with games), were always very friendly, welcoming & helpful. In the 3 years my mother was in HP, she was always happy, enjoyed playing games, participating in activities & always said how nice everyone was at HP. The staff was always available, helpful, friendly, & assisted with any requests. The Resident Care Director, Angela Moore, & her assistant Peggy, were very caring, knowledgeable and helpful. They were instrumental in assisting us when we had to place my mother under hospice care. I want to also mention Syd, Miriam, Maria, Serenity, Kelly, Tina, Walls, & Jeanne as they were very caring, compassionate, friendly, and took great care of my mother. In addition, Joe Livingston from maintenance was always very helpful & assisted us & my mother on several occasions. There are others that we don't their names that assisted my mom or us and we thank them as well. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Harbor Place Assisted Living.

Our Mother resided at Harbor Place for approximately 4 years at a time when she was ready for the extra support the independent living option provided, but not yet ready to move in with us. Harbor Place offered a variety of apartment options, a secure facility, meals, general cleaning assistance, but most important, same aged peers who were able participate in planned and thoughtful activities. These activities were led by the Activities Director, Bethany Hammock, who is truly the shining star of Harbor Place. Bethany pours her heart and soul into every activity and social engagement that is provided at Harbor Place. She is a skilled communicator with both the aged and their families, provides support and understanding and goes far above and beyond her job expectations. From personal experience, I can share that Bethany assisted us while we lived in GA plan a 92nd birthday party for Mom in FL. Bethany has provided direct assistance to Mom when dealing with technology issues and has adapted some of Mom's favorite games to be played by all residents at Harbor Place. Even now, after Mom has made the transition to reside with us, Bethany's care continues to be felt by our family. She has been a constant support via telephone calls and texts, providing guidance, ideas and videos for appropriate materials and activities, and including Mom in ongoing activities at Harbor Place via FaceTime, so Mom can continue to maintain the meaningful relationships she developed while living there. Our experience at Harbor Place was positive. Our mother was supported and able to engage with peers, benefitting from strong, positive social relationships, which are so very important for individuals in their later years. Perhaps the only negatives we can report would be decreased satisfaction with the dining room meals as well as basic things like cleaning out the dryer vents, old/out of date equipment, limited transportation options as their resident bus had been retired, and the significant yearly increases in cost for what seemed to be decreases in quality of food, staffing, and shared equipment (washers/dryers) and maintenance. Overall, we are very grateful for Mom's time at Harbor Place, for the friendships she gained and for the kindness, compassion, leadership and continued assistance of Bethany Hammock.

This place was nice when we brought my father. There were good meals with displays in the lobby, he was very happy. Now they are serving sub par meals. They used to have all kinds of activities. Now they keep canceling activities because they don't have the staff. Everyone is complaining about things going missing. I wish they would figure this out. Until they do I cannot recommend this facility.

I had a client there for a few months. Aides were supposed to cut up the food they didn't. They don't say hello. I lift my client no problems they lift the client and she says ouch ouch. They bring food that they know she can't eat. The day before she passed she was throwing up on herself and the one aide was cleaning her and changing her shirt, the other aide said leave her let's go. My main complaint is the unfriendly, unhelpful aides. Fire the aides with bad attitudes, need sweet and patient to be working with the elderly.

I can't ever thank the staff of your assisted living facility at Harbor Place at Port St. Lucie enough for the amazing care that was given to my mother-in-law in the five years she spent there. When we had to move her from the indepent living building, she was very upset, she didn't realize how much assistance she needed. over the last six months, she became totally bedridden, unable to even stand or change position in her bed. We placed her in Hospice care; and they were very good, but it was the amazing staff of aides who were her true caregivers. They all showed their love for her in their attitudes. Several days before Mom passed, six aides came to her room before leavng for the night and sang "Happy birthday" to her. Her 100th birthday was the folowing week and we all were aware that she would not live to see it. In all the time mom was lying in that bed unable to move, she never so much had an irritation, never mind a bedsore. That is a wonderful testament to the care that she was given. You should be proud of your entire staff. From admins to aides, always smiling, happy and eager to help. Mom passed 10 days before her birthday. She is now enjoying a reunion with her husband, her two sons who passed before her, her parents and 11 siblings who passed before her, and all the other frieds and relatives who I'm sure welcomed her warmly. Thank you all so very much!

My father, now deceased as of Nov 28th, was in the assisted living section of Harbor Place. He was very happy there and very well cared for which gave our family peace of mind. I want to highlight an amazing staff member, Siddian Thomas, a CNA there, who demonstrated exemplary care, compassion, and love towards my father. She has shown many significant employee traits that go above and beyond: she is extremely hard working, professional, skilled, and responsible. My father was under Hospice conditions over the past week at Harbor Place and Siddian made sure that he was clean and comfortable, but her care during his 2 1/2 hears stay there brought great happiness and peace to him. Our family is eternally grateful to Siddian for everything she has done. I hope CP management is reading this. Also, I want highlight other staff members: Anita, the facility manager, was very caring and helpful during the vacating process. Jerry, who conducts many of the afternoon game sessions is exemplary in his attitude and patience with the residents. Overall, I have very fond memories of Harbor Place and actually am saddened I can't go to my dad's room anymore to pick him up to go out for lunch. Thank you Harbor Place for everything. Our Mom, Rose L. came to Harbor Place-Port St Lucie independent living in May 2021. The facility is wonderful and the staff is terrific. Jack Waldroup, the Director, is a true professional who interacts positively and patiently with all residents. Bethany, the activities director, keeps everyone as busy as they want to be! The food is very good and the service staff are kind and accommodating. The front desk personnel are amazing! They are so welcoming and giving assistance for residents and family. To the staff behind the scenes we appreciate everything you do! Mom loves her new home - Thanks Harbor Place.

I cannot express how wonderful this assisted living is! My mom has been at Harbor place for the last two months the staff is so kind and loving! Anita is just the most wonderful and patience person with the residence! I live very close and go by everyday and the care they take with these seniors is so wonderful ! I feel I made the best decision placing my mom in Harbor place! I think it is the best assisted living inPort Saint Lucie! Her apartment is beautiful the food is good they have wonderful activities for the residences and the staff treat each residences with love ! Pat and Anita help me in so many way to get my mom Adjusted I can not thank them enough! The nursing staff is sharp and know what they are doing! If I could give it more then 5 stars I would!!

Wonderful experience at Harbor Place. I felt that my aunt received excellent care in Assisted Living. The employees interact in such a warm manner with the residents, and that makes all the difference. The Activity Director, Jerry, is wonderful and really gets the residents involved. The Assistant Director, Anita Topping, gets 5 stars. She could not have been nicer or more accommodating to my many requests. She is a true asset to the facility.
