I placed my mother at Reflections Memory Care in Port Orange, Florida after being very disappointed with the facility I had her in in Altamonte Springs, FL. I am so happy that I moved her to Reflections Memory Care. I met with Beth Pincheon, the Executive Director. Not only was she very knowledgeable about Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, she was warm, caring and personable about my mother's situation. My mother was admitted in May 2026 and it is like night and day from where I moved her from. Beth is not only the Executive Director but she is like family to the patients. She knows every patient by their name, knows their background, and even knows their likes and dislikes. She always steps out of her office to socialize with all the patients. She is on top of their needs and always communicates with the appropriate staff member to follow through on any specific attention a patient requires. This Facility is SPOTLESS and WELL LIT AND BRIGHT and every staff member always smiles and handles the patients with friendliness, courteousness and caring. Kevin, who works with Beth is also very knowledgeable of what it takes to handle patients with Dementia and Alzheimer's and his patience and warmth shines through. He is always professional and welcoming. The cook, Mike, makes delicious meals that look like they come out of a fancy restaurant. He cooks many different dishes and always asks if me and my wife are staying with my mom during mealtime, because he would gladly make us a meal too! Jessica, the activities director is AWESOME. Her patience, understanding and warm personality shows through as she interacts with the patients. She always has something going on for the patients and she even heads up special birthday parties, magician show parties, and holiday events, and you can see on the patients faces how much they enjoy these functions. My mom's room is always spotless and the courtyard is a SAFE ZONE with no items in the way to cause an accident to a patient. Great Maintenance and Security are in abundance at Reflections Memory Care. Every staff member at Reflections treats the patients as if they were part of their family. Everything at Reflections Memory Care is WONDERFUL. A far cry from where I moved my mother from. Honestly, I don't even know what the Executive Director at the other facility looked like as we never met. I really felt my mom was just "a number" there. However, I am delighted that I picked the right place to move my mom too. I am so at ease knowing she is being taken care of and treated like she's been there for a long time and I can even see the change in her. There is always music playing and she actually stomps her feet! I can go on and on but will end in saying if you are looking for a place to admit your loved one, THIS IS IT. You have to have a certain knowledge and personality to work in this area of the medical field, and they definitely have it! They are all compassionate and attentive with every single patient. I am beyond thrilled, and thank God every day that Beth, Kevin, Mike, Jessica and all the staff that run Reflections Memory Care are the most wonderful, caring people I have ever met and Kudos to them for having such a big heart. They run this facility flawlessly. They do not take a cavalier approach in taking care of your loved one and know how to handle these patients who are living with Dementia and/or Alzheimer's disease. I am very thankful to have found Reflections Memory Care and the wonderful people behind it. THANK YOU REFLECTIONS MEMORY CARE!

My mother has been at reflections for a little over 6 months. There is no perfect place for your loved ones when they suffer from dementia/Alzheimer’s. The staff at Reflections do the best they can while being short staffed. They need someone at the front to simply let you in and out of the facility. Many times I have waited on staff to let me in for quite a few minutes. The staff should not have to step away from the patients to constantly let people in and out. In the beginning of mom’s stay they had a supervisor in charge of the med staff, she is no longer there and has not been replaced. They also need a consistent hairdresser. With all this said I don’t blame anyone at the facility like I said they do the best they can, I blame corporate. The director Beth works really hard and so does the staff, there just needs to be more of them especially on the weekends. Honestly if it wasn’t for Jessica the activities director I would not be able to go visit my mom as often as I do. She is so good with the patients and they love her. She is always thinking of fun things for them to do and alway does monthly themed activities. Over all Reflections is a caring facility and I would recommend them for your loved ones.

Reflections Memory Care it’s very clean and the employees are special… Especially the activity director is fantastic… She really takes time, and energy into doing different activities with the residents! She’s not only an activity director, but I’ve also seen her helping in the dining room and the residents rooms as well ! Keep up the good work !

All I can say is when I take dad out… he’s always asking within an hour or two when he’s going home. He considers it his home and is always ready to return. They’ve made a hard situation much more tenable and I appreciate all of the care and kindness they show him. It’s a group effort on their part and they treat the residents like family.

Reflections in Port Orange has been a true blessing for our famiy. The facility is beautiful and extremely clean and has the feel of a hotel! I cannot say enough about the kindness that has been extended by the entire staff. I use the center for day care for my husband which gives me an opportunity to take care of appointments. I am very comfortable leaving him because I can tell by observing him that he is comfortable! Everything from meal service to activities is top notch! I am so thankful for this wonderful faciity that has helped me greatly in providing care for my loved one

Truly Compassionate Care!! Reflections Memory Care has been a blessing for our family. From day one, the staff and director has shown genuine compassion and respect for our loved one. They treat each resident with dignity and provide attentive, personalized care. The environment is CLEAN, safe, and filled with warmth. We’ve seen real improvement in our loved one’s mood and well-being. We are so grateful to have found such a supportive and caring place. This past weekend my brother and I moved our dad into the Reflections of Port Orange. The staff was amazing in helping us with everything and I mean everything. The facility is more like a hotel and well maintained, nothing like I’ve been exposed to as a retired Firefighter paramedic for 33 years. I’ve been in a great number of facilities, none of which are anything like this one. They far exceeded our expectations and my Dad really seems to like it so far. Did I say how awesome the staff is, I guess you can tell we were highly impressed.

My Mom has been here for about 7 months now..this is her 3rd place and by far the best one! the staff is genuine and really care about the residents! She has adjusted well here and I feel like she has even made friends with other residence! Making the transition to a memory care facility is not an easy process but everyone has definitely made me feel like we made the right decision putting her at Reflections and I don’t worry about her like I did at the other places that she was at.

Sadly, this will be the last update to our review of Reflections. After 3 weeks at Pearl, the unit for residents with more severe dementia, our aunt has passed away. While we are sad, we are comforted by the level of care and concern provided to her, and us, by the entire staff. Through this most trying period we found relief and comfort in the competence of the care givers, but also in the caring and respectful attitude of everyone there, not only at the end but for the entire 5 months. It truly felt like they treated our aunt and us as they would their own family. There's no way we can express how much that meant to us. I can't imagine a better place to be, should one need this kind of care for themselves or a loved one. *** This is an update to the review I posted 3 months ago, shortly after our aunt moved to Reflections. At the time, I noted how happy we were with the facility and the staff. Quite a bit has happened since then, and our appreciation and respect for the facility and everyone that works there has only increased. Our aunt's dementia has significantly worsened. When the care staff first noticed the change, they recommended that we get hospice involved, which we did. They have been wonderful, providing even more individualized care, and other resources. When her condition worsened even more, the Reflections care supervisor and executive director contacted us, recommending she move to Pearl, their unit for residents who need more individualized care, with fewer residents and more caregivers per resident. The moved her furniture, hung her pictures, handled everything seamlessly. Our aunt's been in Pearl for several weeks now, and seems to be doing alright. The staff continues to treat well and with respect, demonstrating that they really do care about their residents. The people at Reflections/Pearl not only make life easier - and better - for the residents, but for their families as well. It gives us great comfort to know she is so well cared for. ****** After 2 years in assisted living, our aunt's dementia progressed to where she needed much more care than the staff was able to provide. She would not eat by herself, usually refused to leave her room or participate in any group activities, resisted the help she needed for hygiene, and was frequently difficult. The head nurse suggested we should seriously consider moving her to memory care, and recommended we look at Reflections. We hated the idea, but knew it was necessary. Visiting Reflections, all our impressions were positive: The staff, and I mean everyone we talked to, was friendly, sympathetic and very positive; the residence rarely sat alone in their in their rooms, and the vast majority willingly took part in the organized activities we observed; the caregivers, who are memory-care certified, were helpful, respectful and caring when interacting with the residents. They told us their philosophy was to keep residents engaged and active, encouraging them to get out of their room and participate in the many activities, to the extent they were capable. We decided it was the best place for our aunt. The staff was more helpful than we could ever expect, going way above and beyond to make the move go as smoothly as possible, and move-in day was pretty stress-free for our aunt. She was taken to Reflections in time for lunch, which went well. While we were cleaning out her place at the assisted living, and working with the movers, she was watching movies and sitting with other residents in the community room. By the time we finished moving her things into her room, she was eating dinner. We could not be more pleased with the move. Our aunt has been cooperative with the staff, to the point we're getting comments like "she's such a doll" and "everybody loves her already", she's letting them help her shower, dress, etc., she's eating, and she's adjusting to a more healthy schedule, up and active during the day, so she can sleep at night. We highly recommend Reflections of Port Orange.

After a year and two previous memory care facilities, I placed my father in Reflections and could not be happier. I highly recommend this facility to anyone with a family member with dementia. The entire staff is exceptional. They truly go above and beyond!

when the decision was made to move my mom, Camille to assisted living memory care because of dementia, it was a very difficult one for me. Since she has been at Reflections she has received nothing but excellent love and care. all the caretakers know who I am when I come to visit her and they treat us all like family. My Dad has settled in so nicely. The staff is very caring and kind. We had Easter Sunday dinner there and it was so delicious and such a celebratory event with prayer before our meal and the Easter Bunny. Every day there are multiple group activities and most of the residents seem to be outside of their rooms and enjoy spending time together. The place is small and warm - unlike other facilities they are not trying to run an independent area, assisted living or the saddest environment - nursing home. This is a very special home environment to support those suffering memory loss. I would highly recommend Reflections.

My Dad has been a resident for over 4 years now. The staff is caring and friendly and they do their best to take care of all the residents. They provide daily activities, games, exercise, and trips to nearby parks and other destinations, and under normal conditions have musical guests, animal interaction, and even karaoke.

My mother has been at the Retreat almost 6 years and my mother in law more than 3 years. The staff is the BEST there is in an ALF. Every one of the employees show love for the residents, doesn't matter if they are the housekeeper, the kitchen staff, a CNA, a med tech, a Director, etc.. They all show so much love to each and every resident. They are attentive, caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate. If you are looking for an ALF for your loved one, do yourself a favor and take a tour at the Retreat of Port Orange. You will not be disappointed. My mother was at this retreat for only 7 weeks before she passed away from vascular dementia. We found this place to be perfect for my mother. We found this facility extremely clean, very well maintained inside and out. The food was exquisite. The activities stimulating and fun. The staff is caring, understanding and every employee gave us 110%. Everyone always worked together as a team. I cannot praise this place enough and highly recommend it. I would place another loved one there without hesitation. By far the best one I've visited in the area. Sincere thanks to Julie, Katie, Karen, Corrine, Carol, Terri, Kim, Susan, Amir and all the caring night staff.

Grace Manor is such a wonderful, inviting community. The staff are always friendly and helpful and it really feels like home. They are so supportive of the families and even have a Dementia Support Group once a month. I love all of the fun activities and events the residents can participate in. The food is delicious and the community is clean and smells fresh. Grace Manor is so alive you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in the door.

Grace Manor is a wonderful place! I would recommend it to anyone. It always smells so fresh and clean. The care staff is amazing and knows each and every resident so well. The activities they have are awesome. I epically like the pet therapy they have every Friday morning. There is no better therapy then playing with kittens!

Grace manor has an amazing atmosphere. I love each and every resident as if they were my own grandmother or grandfather.
