I visited this assisted living facility in search of a forever home for my dad. It is warm and cozy with friendly staff. It is beautiful from the front of the building on. They were playing a game when I went in and the people there were really enjoying themselves. I’m bringing my dad back for a visit!

I’m a firefighter and I go in and out of places similar to this one all the time and I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed with the renovations. The rooms are spacious, modern, and designed with personalization in mind. Each resident has the opportunity to make their space feel like home, which is so important for comfort and well-being. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and the neutral tones of the decor create a calming atmosphere. The rooms are big enough to accommodate personal furniture, family photos, and other cherished items, making it easier for residents to maintain their individuality and feel at ease. I have been in and out of this community for over 20 years, but I feel that since Sodalis came in, the residents and staff are more involved. The staff seems more attentive and the residents are happier.

We recently had to move my mother from an assisted living facility in AL to Sodalis-Pensacola. The facility is nice, clean and has the amenities and services we need. Most important, every single staff member we've met, from the custodial staff to the Executive Director, has been welcoming and helpful. We've had first-hand experience with other similar facilities. Sodalis-Pensacola is far superior to any other we've experienced.

My first impression was how at home I felt. The fireplace in the lobby was very inviting as well as the staff that greeted me. The rooms are adorable with ample space for storage. The residents all seemed very hapy to call this place home!!

TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE ELSEWHERE At first appearance this facility is a throw back from 1980. When you walk in the door there is an odor of mildew that no matter how hard they try they can't mask it, when you ask about the smell they act as if it does not exist. The first time I visited I roamed around for 5 minuted before someone noticed I was there. Once noticed they were friendly and accommodating. The lovely ladies that work in the dementia area are fantastic. So even though the place was very dingy it was the only place I could afford and that would accept my fathers level of care. Many times I had to visit in the evening. It never seemed like anyone was working. The ladies in the dementia area said it was not unusual for there to be only 2-3 staff working at night (with over 80 residence) because they couldn't get anyone to work that shift. The final topper was them administering a FLU shot to my dad without consent. He had moved into the facility 3 months earlier and they had his records stating he had a FLU shot right before moving in. So upon getting an unnecessary FLU shot, he got the FLU, then pneumonia, which lead to his death. Now all I get is the run around from them and an unjustified bill. Take your loved one elsewhere.

I toured and considered this facility for my mom. it was neat, clean and cozy. The marketing director , Laura, was very helpful, professional and informative. Importantly, the prices for rooms and services were competitive with several room configurations to consider. Ultimately, the place was a little small for our needs so was not chosen. Would be a good fit other than that.

A very nice and warm feeling facility. Out of 9 places that I visited this is the one I would have picked for my brother but he decided to stay in NY where his friends are. Laura, the marketing director took us on a tour on 3 occasions She is the most dedicated and caring woman that I have met ! She genuinely was concerned over the grief that I was feeling with the Alzheimer's diagnosis of my younger brother and was a great help in my dealing with it. The rest of the staff was of the same quality and the few residents I spoke with seemed to like the place a lot

Beautiful, Welcoming Living space as soon as you walk in with a fireplace. Residents are loved and cared for. Staff truly cares, fun activities, lots of trips, concierge physicians that come into the building and your loved one can age in place. They offer Assisted Living and Memory Care with all levels of care so your loved one never has to move out.
